Nice MOC 'RobinHood'! It's small and simple but I like it a lot, the overall brown wood atmosphere is very peasant-ish. The watch tower is also well-built. Good job!

Sedric The Bull's Castle
XimenaPaulina replied to RobinBobinTheGreat's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Yeah I have to agree with Doc that's already a good start. You've already built a solid foundation, and just like Sedric the Bull, if you become 'rich and powerful' maybe you could build the whole castle! -
Great MOC timura! I love the fight scene and the elephant armor. Though I have to second the others on the lack of landscape details, but that's something you can easily address.

Great LDD design Carbo! Now all we need is for you to create this one in brickform!

Nice selection of pink and purple parts. But the Kitty's bodies seem to be bigger than what it should be, it should be shorter IMO. But heck, li'l girls won't care.

Happy B-day Guys!

Welcome to Eurobricks Daniel the Dad-Son combo! It's great to hear you sharing your passion for Lego with your son, and hopefully with your other kid too. Enjoy the forums!

Nicely done -R8-! I love that apple. Just goes to show that good ol' handbuilding is much more effective than designing with the computer.

Sad to hear about the unfortunate news, but I'm sure your majestic lego flower creation really means a lot to the Harriss family. My hats off to you milady, you just showed how much more significant legos truly are.

MOC - Henschel G33 german truck
XimenaPaulina replied to Legotron (Panzerbricks)'s topic in Special LEGO Themes
Nice truck Legotron! Even without reference pics to compare to I would say your truck looks very realistic. Great job! -
Ahh, small previews for more majestic photos of BlueBard's city to come... Good initial pics, I love the snapshot of the daily activities of the citizens, can't wait for the whole shot of the city. And yeah, that pig 'steals the spotlight' on this one..

Your CITY just got better with the official roadplates. Now you just have to plan the city layout, I would love to see the finished product.

I love this red Belville mech better than the previous one. Great improvement! Good job once again QQS!

Great space tractor CP5670! I love the classic simplistic design. Good job!

Thanks brickfoot. Just got another spotlight for my li'l photo studio, tried it and it helped a lot in getting better quality pics.

Yeah a bit of illegal connections using the clips just like brickdoctor's, I have done such unorthodox techniques as well and it gets the job done.

Another awesome masterpiece AC! Gotta love that massive power generator, looks very realistic. And I never thought Dobby was an alien species of the SW universe, perhaps maybe a close cousin of Yoda's species.
-
That's one massive Kaskyyk mech, good job on this one George! I love the missile launchers and the double arm machine gun. Though I'm not so sure about the thick arms and legs, it's a bit too simple and <insert that tiresome argument> for me.

The Eta-2 Actis is a bit far off my immediate MOC plans, maybe someday... The V-Wing? Nahh... I'll just concede the 'best V-Wing trophy' to you , I know it's tough to top that one. In the first place, I was never a fan of that ship anyway, it would be hard for me to find some 'inspiration' to do that.

Wow, that's a lovely rendering of the real house. You really captured the overall look of the real thing very well. Job most impressive 'georgivar'!

My collection is mostly Star Wars + City with a couple of Licensed and Space themes on the side. In terms of percentage, this is how my collection looks like: Star Wars = 41% CITY = 39% Licensed = 9% Space = 7% Pirates=2% Castle = 2% Action/TECHNIC = 0% Same here, I haven't bought a lot of sets lately since I've been busy with MOCing. I just bought the needed parts from BL for my projects.

Very nice topic, this had me thinking deeply before posting my answer. For me, it's always a case-to-case basis on whether I'll buy a set just for the minifigs or the set itself. Just to give examples on some of the recent sets that I bought: 8088 ARC-170 = bought the set for the ship + Kit Fisto 3834 Good Neighbors at Bikini Bottom = bought the set for the minifigs 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack = bough the set for the minifigs 7676 Republic Attack Gunship = bought the set for the ship 6212 X-Wing Fighter = bought the set for the ship + minifigs 7993 Service Station = bought the set for the gas station/vehicles From the examples above, it really depends on what ultimately attracts me the most (minifig or set or both) to buy a cetain set. Sometimes it's for the minifigs, sometimes it's for the set, or sometimes it's for the overall package. I guess it would really be hard to generalize and say 'I always prefer minifigs over the set' or 'I always prefer sets over minifigs' or 'I always prefer them both equally'. There is no single answer and it will always be on a case-to-case basis. So for me, no points for Team Minifigs, Team Sets, Team Bricks, or Tag Team of All.

Nice, I love sloping shape of the gunship, very sleek looking with all those curves. Great work thire5!

I love these! Good job once again AllanSmith! Interesting to see you have three tractor sets. I love the MMMMMMM ladies float the best (who wouldn't?)

Oh I see, thanks for clarifying that. If it can't get any wider then maybe 'taller' with a second floor (just like in the ref. pic)?
