  1. Great MOC Bossk/Courleciel! Looks just like the real thing! I love the build of those massive thrusters, very nice techniques to achieve the huge cylindrical shape. But is there any way you could put some sort of cockpit glass? The pilots would surely easily perish in space without glassed cockpits.
  2. Nicely done Teleri! The accessories really make this custom a very realistic Starkiller. Though I have to agree with Oky, deeplinked photos will be very much appreciated, especially if you're gong to present your creation which is pretty impressive. At least one deeplinked photo is enough just to substantiate the topic, and the rest could be links. Just a friendly advice.
  3. Nicely done Cheburashka! I like the basic shape of the fisherman, though it could use a few more details perhaps? The cat is cleverly designed IMO, as well as the fishing gear.
  4. Ooh, very close ones! Literally inches and seconds away from hell. Most are really lucky, but some are just plain dumb and st*pid (what's the deal with the crossing train tracks?)
  5. DJ Pauly's hair is spot-on! I like the naked chic at the right. Very nicely done Derek!
  6. Nicely done! After a quick browse at google (it was a rather old film afterall), your custom does resemble the real Zorg. Good job!
  7. A vote for #26 already cast! Lovely daughter! Hope you do well in the contest.
  8. The Jedi Duel in the perspective of a Gaming Noob. As someone who have 0 experience (as in zero, zilch, nil, nada) in these types of games, I completely have no idea what these Mafia-games in Eurobricks is all about. I rarely go in this subforum, until one day, for some strange reason, I tried to see what Jedi Duel is all about. I read the rules to learn more about the game, then followed the different levels of competition. By just following the competition, I kinda learnt the basic flow of the game, though I'm not that familiar with all the powers, abilities, and tactics involved to succeed. One thing I observed by following Jedi Duel is that this game looks very fun and seems to be a great way to really make friends to fellow-EB members which you don't usually interact with. I would like to try someday, but I have little confidence in my pretty much nonexistent gaming abilities. I hope one day I could gather enough courage to participate in Jedi Duel, which is one of the two EB games that I try to follow in EB (along with the Clone Conflict). I hope my views as a gaming noob gives a different perspective amongst all the experienced gamers. To answer your questions pedro (in blue): Do you play Jedi Duel? Never had, hopefully will If you’ve not played Jedi Duel before, what would encourage you to play? The fun of participating in my first game, and the chance to interact more with fellow Eurobrickers What do you like most about Jedi Duel? The interesting jedi / sith characters created by the users. The simple but tactical flow of the game. And the aforementinoed camaraderie brought about by the game What do you like least about Jedi Duel? None as of the moment What do you think would make Jedi Duel better? More participants perhaps? Any extra thoughts or suggestions? Do you think it would be better if there were some photos during duels? I mean just to have some sort of accompanying image of the duelists fighting each other? Well, that's it, I hope I could join in the next Jedi Duel (that would be my first-ever gaming experience ).
  9. Ooh, what a great way to introduce yourself with this fantastic mecha! I'm a fan of the overall design of this one, especially the sleek slopes in the arms, legs and even the top crest of the head. Very nicely done Lazarev N. and welcome to Eurobricks! I simply love this shot: "Hey, wanna piece of me?"
  10. I guess it's safe to say that Battlepacks won't go away anytime soon. We'll always get at least two every year, though one or two more per year won't hurt either. The upcoming Battle of Naboo set seems to be a cheap way to get 8-9 droids in one set...
  11. Not really a team, but my favorite player in tennis... As a tribute to his recent victory at the US Open and finally completing a Career Grand Slam (his 9th major title), World #1 Rafael Nadal:
  12. Why you want to show your collection don't you? Maybe if it's as impressive as Skafte's complete SW collection it might warrant a separate topic, but if not then it should go in the Show Your Army & Home Display topic. But then again, if you could think of a clever way to present them (diorama, vignette), you could show them in their own topic.
  13. I'd go with the BF ones in terms of design, variety of colors and price. Maybe a mod can set-up a poll for this?
  14. Downright inconsistency at its best I guess. I completely forgot about that Aurra-Ohnaka kissing scene, that was a bit kid-unfriendly too and they let that one go, so why censor the Ventress kiss now? Maybe because it's a double booboo = sexual kiss + violent murder at the same time (?).
  15. I actually don't mind #99, he adds another interesting character dimension to the clone brotherhood, and I think he is supposed to teach the proverbial "do not judge the book by its cover" to the kids, as stated in his Data File: "Though his body maybe weak, his spirit is strong".
  16. That literally is what you call the "Kiss of Death". It's such a shame we wouldn't see that scene until the DVD/Blu-Rays come out, but I guess we have to be 'gentle' with the kids...
  17. Very nice, I actually like it a lot. Considering you didn't had enough bricks, I must say you did a pretty good job Cutlass Iz. The alternating tan and brown bricks, while not accurate, gives a really nice color variation and texture on the walls. The studded roof also works well for the textured roof on the real house.
  18. Like this one? (pedro's award-winning Jedi Mission Battlepack - one of my most favorite MOC of all time ) TLG, please release something like this.
  19. No prob Dharkan, always a pleasure to help. Hope to see improved MOCs from you the next time around.
  20. That's a pretty interesting build to say the least, it highly looks like the "RGS meets TS remote-control-car thingy". I like how the RGS cannons rotate. But do take this as constructive criticism, if every your using elements from other sets (like the wing rocket launchers and front turrets of the RGS), try modifying them in such a way that they don't look like they were just detached and put into another creation. Just a friendly advice.
  21. Nice custom Clones 'clonefactory'. The helmet markings are very clean, nice custom holsters and Z-6 chaingun. I love the additional details in Cody, I've been wanting to do the same in mine.
  22. Very nice weapons! I like the classic Claymore sword and bayonets, as well as the Cricket bat and photon pistol. The trans-blue syringe does look more accurate than TLG's version.
  23. "Size matters not".
  24. I think you did a pretty decent job on this MOC considering the obvious limited parts that you have. I like how you focused on the playability despite the rather colorful finish. Given more parts, I'm sure you would have made a more realistic version aesthetics-wise. But there's always a next time, and you could always improve on your creations.
  25. I wouldn't recommend taking your modulars apart. I believe what you would like to do is create a neighborhood of modular buildings right? If that's what you want, then keep your modulars, design your own building in LDD, then go buy the individual parts and pieces from BL. That's the most cost-efficient way IMO, that's what I do and works very well for me.
