What a lovely modular street SalvoBrick! It's nice to see each of the three buildings having its own unique color scheme and design. Put together they all look great in this very well done street. Excellent work!

For the nth time, congratulations on your promotion Zorbas! Best of luck on your new role!

Very interesting mech design MisterTwister! I love the bulkiness of the torso for an overall muscular look. The arms though look somehow a bit short, maybe an additional 1-2 plate length will improve it. But overall, a very well done MOC, thanks for sharing!

Same here, I've never been a fan of advent calendars, and unless there is something really very tempting (which I highly doubt) on this one, it'll be a good cost-saving pass for me too. Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. And we should also remember to keep this thread as a 'discussion' topic (with actual substance on the posts), not a chat room which it has been like in the past couple of months. Just a friendly reminder to everybody.

Wow, it's finally great to see the 2011 version of your Geonosis Droid Factory, and what a marvelous upgrade this is from your 2004 one. Excellent use of those humongous wheel piece. Great job as always AC!

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It really depends on what type of clones you specifically want to build an army of. If it's just an army of normal clones, the 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack is the way to go. If it's only the clone minifigs that you're interested in, it's more practical to buy individual clone minifigs online as you could save on shipping cost and maximize your budget. The new 7913 Clone Trooper Battle isn't as effective as an army builder as 8014, since you only get 1 ARF, 1 Horn Company Trooper, and 2 Bomb Squad Troopers (which I highly doubt one really wants build an army of). It would still be more practical to buy individual figs if you plan to build an army of ARFs or Horn Company Troopers. With regards to your profile, you need to reach 10 posts first before you could view and edit your profile. -
Very well done decals ED-209! I think it's very accurate based on the reference image. I'd love to see this applied on an actual custom Conan minifig. Great job!

Since you're using flickr, this is how you do it: Right-click on the photo > choose Medium 640 > right-click again on the photo > choose 'Copy Image Location' > edit your post, click the Insert Image icon (), then paste the copied URL > your photo is deeplinked! Like this one: Hope that helps! ----------------------------- Now that we on are on the topic of uploading photos, maybe it's time to update the tutorial using flickr? If I remember right, that topic by Shadows uses brickshelf as an example. Maybe it would help if we also put how to use flickr in deeplinking photos here in EB. Just my humble suggestion.

The parts alone of course aren't certainly worth the price, but getting an updated Luminara and Rex with a bunch of BDs and these 'extra parts' is already a good deal for $40 IMO (particularly for those who still don't have them, like me), considering those two figs alone cost almost the same as the set itself in the minifig market. The problem is this Luminara fig is based on the CW series, who doesn't wear a cape, unlike the previous version which is based on RoTS and hence the cape. A skirt like Assajj's would have been a better addition instead.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion
XimenaPaulina replied to eiker86's topic in Special LEGO Themes
There are notable ones for me, especially the British guard, boxer, gladiator, Sherlock Holmes, and the mobster. But the others were obviously created just to supplement the previous CMS figs (cavegirl-caveman, snowboarder-skier-lady snowboarder, Cleo-Pharoah, female trainer-rapper-pop star singer, eskimo-fisherman, godzilla-gorilla, little clown-clown-magician, etc.). I still believe the upcoming Series 4 will be better than Series 5. -
Welcome to the forums Pandora! It's always great to see a member's beloved one enjoying and supporting his hubby's Lego passion. I could very well relate since my wife-to-be also joined EB several months ago. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it in here, as much as Mr. Rufus has been enjoying the site for quite some time now. Hope to see you around!

Happy Birthday Teddy! Hope you enjoy your day!

Haha, nice one ISC! Simply cute and funny scene! I see two bastard children eh?

Amazingly created Lego... Table?
XimenaPaulina replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's an impressive build indeed! I love the combination of SNOT build, colorful patterning, and 3-D details of this table. Kudos to Mr. Todd Wilder who created this! -
Yup I agree with LuxorV, orange is the obvious way to go. Are you gonna use Arealight's Commando helmet? Hope you have steady hands when applying the sharpie print, good luck!
-
Yeah I noticed that too. It's probably because in one of the early episodes of the CW series Season 1 the Wolf Pack Troopers did wear some jetpack when they were stranded in space with Plo Koon.

Excellent comprehensive and in-depth review Rufus, thanks for sharing this! I'm a sucker for comparison pics, and the ones you did for the minifigs are simply . Love those minifig group shots and the funny AT-AT posing too. Despite the inaccurate dimensions and questionable minifig selection, this set is still a pretty good buy especially to those who haven't got the chance to own the previous AT-ATs.
-
Excellent MOC Praiter! I loved this when I first saw this in LDD and it even looks better in real brickbuild. The overall SNOT build is just impressive, and this one puts the TLG model to shame. Great job!
-
Haha, another cool SW DJ MOC Mood! 900 year-old Yoda doin' the head-spin? The SW universe must be literally going upside down.
-
So even one of the part designers can't explain the existence of these bubbles in the lightsabers? I have plenty of lightsaber bar pieces, but still haven't encountered a non-bubbled one.
-
Great review MB! I love the comparison pic of the old and the new Luminara fig. My views haven't changed about this set, this is one of the best-valued new SW set for its price since you get a new updated jedi, rare Rex, a bunch of BDs and a couple of vehicles which is a good source of parts.

Very unique and interesting build, it's more like Cube Dudes than Chibi building the way I see it. Well done as always!

New Ninjago brickmaster book.
XimenaPaulina replied to legolijntje's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Interesting find, though I think you should remove the photo since EB doesn't host images with confidential stamps in them. The link provided will have to suffice right now. Thanks for sharing nevertheless. -
Which is your favourite upcoming Lego minifigure in 2011?
XimenaPaulina replied to commanderneyo's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Opress already appeared in two recent episodes of Season 3, Monster and Witches of the Mist. -
I think it's about right, the protruding enlarged binary brain forehead is in the front side. The main inaccuracy is the distinct lack of goatee. It would also be interesting to see if there is hair on the tip of Mundi's head.
