Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
XimenaPaulina replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Probably not anytime soon, considering these three highly-sought exclusive figs are the drawing factors of their huge respective sets. Even if I already have these three, I would want to see them in a magnet set in the future though it seems highly unlikely that they will all be in one magnet set, probably TLG will split them in two or three magnet sets so one would have to buy them separately. -
MOC: A mosaic birthday gift which I have received

Awww, that's very thoughtful of your special someone Fangy. No matter how simple the build is, the fact that she put the extra effort to make this and give you something that you really are passionate about (Lego) is what truly makes this a special gift. -
Oh wow, gotta love that Mars Mission version of the RGS. You really did a great overall job on this Mars base, particularly the nice combination of the clean white surface with the trans-orange glass pieces. The colored effect of the interior shot is quite artistic too. Great job!

Congratulations for making it into this article Ricecracker! It sure was an informative read and shed the light on your building experience with this fantastic build. It's actually the first time I saw this (I wasn't active this time last year), and I must say this is really an impressive creation. I think the best people who really appreciated your work are the firemen personnel at the Toronto Fire Station 134, who truly vouched for the high degree of accuracy of your Lego model. Again, excellent work on this one! But his whole name is already part of the model. I think it's just ok since this wonderful build is something to be truly proud of.

Great review KimT! Those highly-detailed weapons are lovely, especially the various type of arrows. The different hairpieces and outfit parts look good too, they're certainly useful if you're into oriental MOCs.

Wow, congratulations on this fantastic review mostlytechnic! The pictures are excellent as is the commentary. I must say this is one of those huge Lego sets that is really worth buying if you have the resources to purchase it. It's simply a beautiful Lego set that's nice for display and is highly playable for kids due to its light and sound effects and the rotating functionality.

Very nice dual-function steampunk vehicle, the transformation from a chopper to a rowboat is simple but very effective. Well done!
-
Excellent diorama as always AC! It's really nice to look at every bit of detail of this build, especially the different weapon armory for each specific trooper type. At first I didn't get why there are Scout Trooper and Snow Trooper armories though I guess these would represent the CW Kashyyk Troopers and Cold-Assault Troopers, respectively.

Excellent Forestmen Hideout the Inventor! I love the effective combination of the abandoned outpost, rock formations, the riverside and the surrounding greeneries spruced up by the busy daily life of the Forestmen. And like what the others said, great job on giving each forestman its own unique look. Impressive work overall!

Another interesting and well-done MOC Fianat! Lots of elements to like on this build, like the damaged walls of this fragile tower ruins, the serpent monster pit, the clever positioning of the upside-down cape, and the black creepy-looking tree. Just a great job on t his one!

Oh wow, these TT-fied B1s look great! It's nice to see you were able to give each variant its own unique look with different colored pieces and accessories. Excellent work as always!
-
Very nice Bat-tank, it really looks like one mean fighting machine. The massive tank wheel threads are great, though I think it would've been better if you replaced the grey parts with all-black. Still, another well-done creation Jedd!

That's quite an interesting find, it's always nice to see Lego pieces in their 'unfinished' state. This one reminds me of the parts of Gundam models that I used to buy before, since the parts are packaged in that same way. But what I don't get is you ordered this not knowing what it will look like?

Haha, nice one Kim! Now I get it. Title due to the fact that I pointed out KimT mistakenly calling the upscaled Kit Fisto minifig as Plo Koon in his LegoWorld 2011 article. I guess that's what happens for being too SW nerdy nitpicky. [edited first post with the right reason behind this title]

Happy Birthday Fangy! Wishing one of EB's Best everything wonderful life has to offer! May you enjoy your special day my friend!

Then it is a real bargain for 1300 basic but still useful pieces.

Congratulations on your graduation from the RA cralegoboy! You really have come a long way and it's nice to see you move up to the ranks of an RA Teacher. The teachings of the Academy is clearly evident with this high-quality final review of yours. As for the set, I was never a fan of non-minifig based sets, and I view this as only a parts source pack. Average will be the most generous rating I'll give this set.

Welcome to the forums Ray! Be sure to check out the Technic subforum, I'm sure you'll get plenty of help like building tips and answers to your questions from our resident Technic experts there. Yep, and if you stumble into some AFOL lingo that might be new to you, this EB Glossary might come in handy. Enjoy the site!

Very well done transport truck bricked one! I like how you achieved the slanted portion of the white body strip without resorting to decals. The design of the F1 racecar is interesting too, different from TLG's version yet very unique. It's also nice to see the functional mechanism for bringing out the racecar in and out of the trailer.

Mine's the opposite. When I was a kid I really didn't care about the boxes so all just went to the dump. But ever since I became an AFOL, I saw these boxes under a different light and appreciated them as more than cardboard storage but part of the overall experience of purchasing a Lego set. So I try to keep them in pristine condition inside the closet. BTW, this topic is similar with a previous one in the Gen. Discussions forum.

Very nice, even for a mini-land scale figure, you managed to get the appropriately colored details of the various armor elements. Carbonite Han is well-done too. Good job as always with your unique creations!
-
Excellent micro ship Shine! I have to commend the very clever parts usage of this build, especially the Bionicle parts for the unique wing design and the castle weapons underneath. That trans-red cockpit piece is nicely utilized too. I really like this ship a lot, very well done!

Kick Fist Yourself. - I honestly don't know what this means, is this some English expression that I don't know about? I'm certain KimT gave it to me (easy to verify: just checked my last profile visitors).

Oh yeah, I really like it a lot! Very nice scene, the build really depicts a cold and windy atmosphere. I love the rock-formations, the seawater, and those brickbuilt seagulls/pelicans. Good job Captain Flint!

Oh wow, this is an amazing little build Hoexbroe! For some reason I have this thing for forklifts, and I must say your version has a very interesting design and is very well-done especially with the SNOT built of the body and the brickbuilt roof and fork. The truck and the engine (on your last shot) are nice builds too. And thanks for sharing the instructions. Great work!
