  1. http://www.ev3dev.org/docs/ I found this link that using Linux based system to program EV3!!
  2. WOW!! That long custom pneumatic cylinders are truly great. From the pictures looks like that it is more longer than Lego v2 version of pneumatic cylinders we saw in the Mercedes Arocs truck. I guess it has 20 studs in length without extending .
  3. I think there is a existing lego part which might replace pulley wheels with cross axle hole . This one http://www.bricklink...p?P=56902&tab=I definitely will be free-rolling on the common axle.
  4. This picture does show that the front axle bends due to entire body weight of truck. I realized that this issue was pointed out before. Maybe this issue will happen a lot if TLG keeps designing this scale for flagship sets in the future. I want to know opinion from everyone about this issue. Is there a way to solve or avoid ??
  5. I fully support you, Sariel. All the hard work you have done and time you have spend are extremely valuable to this community. I bought two books of your work. I enjoyed every time I read and got inspired . I am expecting your third book in print.
  6. I think the size of tires is relatively small compared to the rest of whole body even in the A or B mode.
  7. A interesting video demonstration. Thanks Sariel for bringing us special Mocs built from Lego each time and will be more in the future.
  8. I don't think size of a set matters. What matters is that we hope TLG will focus on diversity of functionality , creativity and playability of a technic set. Most important thing is we as Lego fans get inspired by TLG ,then we will be able to build a new different MOCs.
  9. Excellent!!! LegoGBC showed us that the capability and diversity of Lego by merging Lego with a smartphone.
  10. To Kwon: If you want a boat function properly above surface of water , you will have to reduce water resistance to hull so that boat can move smoothly over the water.
  11. Will it transform to Jetfire?? Just kidding!! Once again another excellent realization of Lego Blackbird. Looks like next project will be Starscream.
  12. Another creative work done by Sariel. Any plans on developing fully automatic tentacle in the future?
  13. From the pic you posted , I realized indeed the frame is rigid. But the weight of cabin resulted in the front frame bending . Not only 4th wheel off ground but also the first wheel got compressed under stress . It looks like ABS frame still couldn't be as rigid as realistic metal frame to withstand high load.
  14. I think freedom is everyone's right. One can chose , decide ,and play whatever one want to do with Lego. One of the most important thing playing Lego is have to be fun.
  15. Maybe you can using truss structure to prevent the front of chassis from bending . Doing this could need additional parts.
  16. I agree too. One of the main reasons I love Lego is I enjoy much more entire building process than outcome. During the process one can find lots of solution to whatever problem one will encounter. Just use your imagination and a little of of engineering concept ,you will be able to build something different from others in your own way. That is truly fun and joyful. Praise Lego for bringing the world so extraordinary .
  17. A great big size truck! I am a little bit concerned about the structure supporting two yellow blocks in the rear of the truck. Looks like the two pieces of combination of black beams suffer stress from total weight of two yellow blocks.
  18. Are those four colors of hoses behind the cabin Lego-made parts or custom parts ?
  19. Tow miniLAs are used on the spreader of container handler for extending and retracting function.
  20. Thanks Nazgarot for the reply. You had inspired me on how to improve to make a sturdier and high torque differential.
  21. Thanks GRogall again for High quality picture. I notice one thing that there are two types of wheels functioning as bearing that supports sections of the boom. One Looks like http://www.bricklink...Pic.asp?P=56902 , the other looks like http://www.bricklink...Pic.asp?P=42610.
  22. I couldn't agree more. It is good to discover potential capability of Lego.
  23. WOW!! Fabulous work!! BTW, I can hear the sound that clutch in miniLAs keeps functioning.
