  1. That is in addition to the (relatively) high minifigure count, which will always drive the price up.
  2. I am shocked it took 3 pages until someone brought that quote into play.
  3. It has a bit too many stickers for my taste. Great review though!
  4. Great job! I like the fact it's a brand new scale we haven't seen before. I also like the Anubis statues, a really nice touch.
  5. I think I'm going to pass on this one. While the figure, foliage, and gun look cool, I can't justify that when the new SW sets come out.
  6. I wasn't sure about it, since I'm mostly a SW guy, but the low price has me convinced. The trans-green color is not new for 2012 though, the green lightsaber in the 2011 Sith Infiltraitor is that shade of green.
  7. A really like the overall shape, although I agree, the insert vehicle needs a little work.
  8. *Shudder* I'm sorry, but this is like the bastard stepchild of LEGO and Polly Pocket. No can do for me.
  9. How...why...How did you make the Muten Roshi connection?
  10. I feel like we have had this debate, over, and over, and over again, ad nauseum. TLG has said they do not want to produce a military theme, and while they have gotten close, it would be too big of a step to go all the way. The second point would be, on the extreme off chance, what military and what war would they produce? I'm sorry, but I think a battle pack of WWII Germans is taking things waaaay too far.
  11. The Minotaur, (although just one) the Genie, the Butcher, and I think a squad of Romans would be nice.
  12. I agree, the simplicity is what "makes it." Nice work. Is the bearded fellow a shepherd or one of the Magi?
  13. Wow, that is phenomenal I love the trilogy of vehicles.
  14. You, sir, are my new geek hero.
  15. Just picked up the Bag 1 from Battle of Endor (all the figures,) an AT-ST Driver, Two Scout Troopers, a Hoth Rebel and a Naboo Pilot (tan jacket.) I am eagerly waiting for 2012 now as well.
  16. Those micro-scale creations are on the same scale as some of the released models (they exceed them in some cases.) I think there might be a future designer in the works.
  17. I'm actually an Imperial kind of guy, and I think that X-Wing is my favorite LDD MOC, well, ever.
  18. I think I am changing back, once again. Also, is his face grey-toned at all in real light?
  19. Where did you see that? If your source is accurate, that would be great news.
  20. I think the Phantom is actually most similar to a Naboo Cruiser, but I may be incorrect.
  21. As most of you might know, (or perhaps not) FBTB was/ is running a drive to submit a large number of e-greetings throughLego Santa Yoda to generate donations for lego to Toys For Tots. Initially, it was set up on the website so that each person could send as many emails as they wanted, so several of us sent thousands to the email FBTB set up. Now, it appears that there is a limit on the number of emailss sent from one address to the other (3 total.) Therefore, I would like to ask this favor. Please send three e-greeting to my email at: theatresansserif@gmail.com. I will open them to make sure more toys get donated to Toys For Tots (only opened greetings count for the donation number.) Also, if you would like to help out with this and receive greetings from other people (myself included) to help drive them number closer to 1,000,000, please leave your email below. Thank you and Happy Holidays. -Andrew
  22. A Hoth invasion pulling a Super Star Destroyer? I second that.
  23. Really nice! I am loving the figures. Just curious, what is the pair of binoculars on his leg supposed to be?
  24. Nice work! I especially like the detailing on left left engine, and that large scale droid. Do you have any further pictures of that by chance?
