  1. I would have to say the katana, it is probably the closest match you are going to get.
  2. Agreed, I am eagerly awaiting the finished shots!
  3. AZ is the Western USA. I have to ask, just for my own curiousity, if you have named a price?
  4. I feel like this is a support group for AFOL's coming out of the Dark Ages. I am 24, and I hit it hard again this past year after a brief return to the Dark (I came out at my senior in college with the Stormtrooper Battle Pack, and returned briefly while I was looking for a job, and generally being an adult.) Now, I think I probably spend $300 a year or so on LEGO. It is all about balance. I do know what you mean about pressure from the other half though...I should be fine as long as I keep it organized, but I have had to switch to set archiving instead of display.
  5. Do you have all the sets as well, or just the figures. A great display though. What are the dimension?
  6. A great MOD on the ship. I especially like that you added headlights in addition to that great rear engine. I am already seeing the scene with the space slug in my mind.
  7. I am not a huge fan of micro scale, but MOCs like this are rapidly changing my opinion. This whole package is phenomenal.
  8. I am very impressed with this review, and with the set as well. I was wavering on this (possibly just Bricklinking the new Sandtroopers) but I can see a lot of potential in the set now (even if it does mean another R2-D2 )
  9. Brickset works well for original values, and Bricklink is what I usually use to determine fair market value. Also, expect a PM from me.
  10. While it is a little more than I can afford, even the $119 for Jabba's palace isn't incredibly horrific.
  11. While I must admit, as a designer, my love affair with Steampunk has cooled quite a bit, I am extremely glad we have some official steampunk figures. This is going to be great for a lot of upcoming MOCs.
  12. I particularly like the fact this is titled "Simple." I know that any robotics are difficult. Nice proof of concept model.
  13. I think the opening briefcase is just the icing on the cake for this, great work!
  14. I have to agree while it is a great improvement over the original set, it is not quite there yet. The idea of taking away 1 plate level on the mandibles might do the trick. Nice greebling though
  15. That is a phenomenal piece of work...I am eager to see the improvements, even though it is polishing up a work of art.
  16. I have received my prize B! Eeth Koth's headpiece was still in the sealed bag Thank you for the new additions to the Jedi Council.
  17. I like some things, but not the others...for example, I really like the Battle of Naboo, but there are too many Endor commandos.
  18. Mine hasn't come yet...I sincerely hope it wasn't lost in the post
  19. Impressive research and construction! I especially enjoy the fact the fleet is completely scaled to each other.
  20. I agree, all 3 in a row...a solid home run.
  21. I was just using that technique for a sculpture, I only managed to get it down to 110 1X2 bricks per layer. How tight is the diameter of your circle?
  22. I doubt I really missed something, but I don't believe Boba Fett was ever at Hoth. Are we seeing RMPP in the games now? That is a cool microfig though.
  23. LEGO or work, that is the question. Just kidding, it is never a question. It is LEGO.

  24. Thank you. I usually hang out in SW, but I drop in on Ninjago every once in a while.
