  1. Terrific build, well done..!
  2. I like the body, but I think his head is lacking an actual beard.
  3. Sadly, I think if Monster Fighters did get a second wave it would end up being more vehicle-based. The Swamp Monster could get a boat or a submarine or something, there could be a zombie-hot-rod, a ghost-pirate ship, etc. I think it'd be terrific to see some brick-built monsters (i.e. a large swamp monster, like the Creature from the Black Lagoon) but I doubt it. A Yeti could be cute, ala Orient Expedition. And after Shelob, etc., Lego isn't unaccustomed to giant spiders.
  4. Immediately recognisable, brings up some nostalgia in me..! Well done.
  5. Best use of the planet so far..! Well done!
  6. Such a lovely colour scheme..!
  7. A fine rendition of the character, I think..! I like your use of bone-pieces within the bike.
  8. I like your use of printed slopes! Could do with some trans-blue and trans-red detailing, though?
  9. Terrific effort, very well done!
  10. Very smooth and slick in design, well done!
  11. Kid Flare VS. Vagabond is a terrific little scene, showcasing two fantastic characters. Well done, indeed!
  12. The little scene of her at home, in her base, is very well done!
  13. The striping is particularly well done. Great work!
  14. I love that fallen tree in the foreground!
  15. Very imaginative and well put together!
  16. I love the custom spear! All so glittery and gold!
  17. Thus far, Lego and Marvel have worked on sets which are pretty much based on everything but the comics, directly. The Avengers sets were clearly based from the films, the Spiderman set is based off of the new cartoon, the X-Men set is based off generic themes, primarily - seems to me - the Wolverine film (Chopper VS Bike) and two characters more who are now ubiquitous through Marvel. Thus, I would say to people waiting for Mr Sinister, etc, could be waiting a long, long time.
  18. I find the addition of traditional helmets to mini-dolls to be a very cute cherry on top of a wonderful build.
  19. You have a wide range of technique and skill on show here, well done!
  20. This is a really cream and crisp construction, so I like it. Well done!
  21. I particularly like your use of pink for the Norse fighter, but the scene and the character line ups are both terrific!
  22. I think the lack, so far, of actual comic-based sets for Marvel is very interesting. The Wolverine one was pretty generic, either way (I found the inclusion of Deadpool to be just a reason to include a helicopter, but one can see the huge fan appreciation of a Deadpool figure), but apart from X-men the Marvel sets have been either movie or TV-show based. Us X-Men fans can only hope we get a few more of these generic sets, as opposed to anything based off of any of the newer (and in my opinion terrible) X-Men films. I'd be thinking parts of the Mansion, a X-Men VS Sentinel set and - of course - a Blackbird set to match the Quinjet set in coolness.
  23. I like how you're not afraid to show some studs. Very pretty design.
  24. I love the above way, which is also well suited for colour matching. It has my vote!
  25. The decals are great, as is the staging you have managed for the whole scene. Well done..!
