People: The Lego Company generally makes DC/Marvel sets based on subject matter on which they will get free promotion (e.g. Dark Knight Rises promotes Batman universally, puts several lines of Batman lines on the shelves, The Avengers films, etc.). The X-Men are very popular and only had one, slightly obscure, set. Wanting sets based off of cartoons like Young Justice, which is not promoted as much as Ultimate Spiderman, nor are the cast as popular as Spiderman, is unrealistic at this early stage. If the Marvel/DC franchise remains profitable in a similar state to Star Wars after a few years, then you may begin to get more obscure heroes and villains.

TLG must feel it can't win. It is criticised from some fans by using too many stickers. And then, when it creates some (in my opinion, lovely) brickbuilt animal-motifs, it is told from some quarters it's using the wrong colours.

These two smaller sets really steal the show from the Bugle, in my opinion.

Yes, indeed, the NBA figures had some really quite terrific head printing. More of that wouldn't go amiss.

I really like the Tumbler Vs. BAT set, for what it is, at the price point it is at. Each to their own..!
