  1. Hi all, after a dark age of almost 20 years, my wife encouraged me pick up my lego activities again. After a hesitating start, I have extended my collection a bit. As my main interest is city, I really prefer the train segment. As I did not have any trains in my child colelction, I started brand new and choose for the RC trains. The major sets exist in my collection, but what I really like to do is build my train table. I have digged deep and bought myself a lot of track and bricks to build a small table where the train can go round, and more important up in the sky. When the trains leave the table via the 2 track bridge the make a large straight track through the village. Some photo's here to show some WIP. Oversized images removed by moderator -TheBrickster Image 1 Image 2 Image 3 I must say that at the moment my entire collection is in boxes. We moved to a new home and there is no lego room yet. However I have claimed the attic above the car shedm, but that room has still to be made ready befor I can even think of a layout. When autumn comes I will use a small table on our first floor to crate some mocs and work out my ideas for the real lego room. So unfortunately no updates from me real soon, but after summer I will make a flying start. good to know all of you.
  2. Modern for me. I am too young for steam engines No serious, I have 0 feeling for steam, the more futuristic, the better.
  3. Unfortunately everything is stored in their original box right know, because I moved to a new home. The new lego room is not finished yet (not even started). Normally i put every train that I have in my layout
  4. In my opinion this is a very risky piece of track, what if 2 trains try to cross at the same time As I only own rc track i do not have to worry, but I am shaking of the thought by using it
  5. He, 2 very nice attempts, considering that only parts from the set are used. It still shows, that several models can be build from one set only. For set 1 it looks a bit strange to me that the rear seems to be a diiferent white color then the front., the truck itselfs looks fine and would (maybe) even look better when we add a trailer to it. The second truck looks pretty ok, maybe an idea to change the position of the bricks which are now between panel 3 and 4 to somewhere else (not sure where) so the trailer looks it bit more in proportion. but well done for both of them
  6. Very nice display. Plans look really good, also with the park planned in the center. Seeing something like this make my hands itchy to unpack all my lego (which is still packed since my last movement to a new house) Good luck, and as already said, I cannot wait to see some pics.
  7. Very nice set, maybe a bit overprices, but the combination of truck, windmill and car makes up a lot. I will be waiting for the time when the set goes into sail for a lot less to buy some more.
  8. Very Nice Maybe some suggestions; - Some windows in the roof to make the MOC inside a bit lighter - change the roof colors, maybe choose a different color for the inside then the outside, i would definitely loose the green and brown - add a small cabinet at the wall with maybe some glasses or whatever (1 stud depth should be enough) - on the outside add a pavement, it will make the tan you used as a basis disappear (and the corner will look a lot better) furthermore, I would say very very nice
