Well the Micro Fighters pics are now out and DC has a dedicated 2018 thread... Just saying...

Honestly guys? The bootleg quality has gone down the crapper. I mean it wasn't the greatest to begin with, but at its peak SY, Decool, Dargo had some really nice pad printed gems. You could generally count on a decent, clean print for, say, 3 out of 5 or 1 out of 2 of the same fig (hence why I generally bought multiple figs of the same item -- to ensure I could put together a clean fig). But now? The strategy is very clearly about massive volume at the expense of quality control (and even the prices aren't really that compelling anymore when you factor in that a lot of times you don't have an option for the slower free shipping) -- you could be paying about $4-5 per fig once you factor in shipping and having to buy multiple figs to get to a clean one. And design? We've gone a while since we've seen a really unique innovative design come out of the bootlegs -- they've clearly resorted to straight out copy pasta of the most prolific customizers (Leyile, Engineerio, etc.) I think this is one of the major reasons (if not the reason) that John at OLS has called it quits. In the end, I am questioning more and more whether I'm actually getting value out of these purchases... Of course in the near term for impossible to get figs like Deadpool Duck, there are no other viable options, but still, the drop in quality has been really disappointing -- the hey days of bootlegs could be over for me...

Thanks! Haha -- nothing much I could do about that smile -- "dread it, run from it, destiny still arrives..." -- something chilling about that line. I also noticed something very interesting about the official poster -- every single character is looking away save from 3 (or perhaps 4 depending on where Spidey is ultimately looking). I don't think that is an accident. And for those who have read the Infinity War story from the comics -- it's very interesting indeed!

Few comments, despite my general agreement that it sucks getting another Spidey, I get that he's the most popular character and they need a strong lead -- still -- they could have mixed it up by giving us 2099 or Symbiote Spidey. I am psyched for Thor and Starlord and Loki -- but Nebula is a meh... would have preferred a traditional GotG villain like Galactus or Adam Warlock or Super Skrull or even Annihilus.

I'm happy to pass on this figure. No doubt our friends in the custom community are already gearing up to meet pent up demand. It still irks me (and by evidence from the FB page a ton of other TLG customers) that they continue these exclusives.

Haha, at first I thought my Loki came with leg printing -- then I remembered I used Ayesha's legs!

I ended up using Ayesha's legs, which fit nicely for Loki's torso (see below) Here is a look at the Thor Ragnorak figs (includes some MODs I made to Grandmaster (swapped out the grey legs and hair, added gold coat), Valkyrie (swapped out that awful hair and added legs), Loki (used my custom gold chrome helm), Thor v.1 (added spiky hair and custom trans blue hammer) and then added my MOC Odin.
