  1. A wiseman once said there are no guarantees in life but Death and Taxes. I'm not in the business of gauranteeing anything. Here's what I do know. My source says they are legit, has handled them and they are now on their way to me and I will have a chance to inspect them myself. He is a solid source and has not been wrong before. Btw, the Goliath fig is also coming in my shipment among other other items. Finally, as a customizer myself I can tell you, if they are indeed "fake" one has to ask the simple question "why is there no marketing of this product"? I can tell you that pad printing not just one but 3 figures on genuine Lego parts is no joke -- i.e. that's a lot of capital upfront. For those who follow the custom market, almost every premium pad print customizer markets and pre-sells their figures months in advance in order to secure enough sales to cover costs and ideally to make a profit. So let's put 2 and 2 together. These are "real" figs (i.e not renders) professionally pad printed on Lego parts. If they are truly customs, these designs would have been completed and printed at least a couple of months ago (if not more). Who would this mysterious custom maker be? How did they get their hands on designs months in advance that clearly are in line with other official merch which has been released. And the final smoking gun, why aren't they actively selling this in the market? For phantom Internet glory points?? ? I think I know most of the premium pad print customizers and no one can answer these questions in a way that any reasonable person would conclude anything other than that these must be real (for better or worse). Occam's Razor. Any other explanation doesn't add up.
  2. It certainly won't work on the "energy" BP fig.. but... for the "simpler" fig. might not be too bad...
  3. Yeah, like I said before, really disappointed with the lack of printing (arms, legs, headpieces) -- man, if you look at all of the Justice League figs, they get full prints -- what gives? We need HULK to SMASH! Haha
  4. Hahaha!! This is absolutely brilliant!!
  5. If anyone wants a peek at the new Black Panther figs (2) and Killmonger, head over to my Instagram account :)
  6. Wow that's literally a BIG FIG. Where did you get the Thor hammer's? Did you make that out of a bunch of trans hammers or did it come like this?
  7. I'd say so yeah. Maybe not the head, but definitely the torso.
  8. I was just thinking the same thing. There's going to be a disappointment somewhere.
  9. I have only seen 1 version of Killmonger and 2 BP variants.
  10. Ok that's helpful. I will reach out to you when and if I get a hold of said figs. ?
  11. Oh right :) Yeah -- for me that will make 5 but who's counting Black Panther / T'Challa [VARIANTS] [CUSTOM] [MCU] [MOC] [COMICS] by agoodfella minifigs, on Flickr
  12. 3 variants? I haven't been keeping up with the latest. Is that because we will have 2 BP sets and there is news that there will be an exclusive? Any more details on the exclusive? Is it for in store / US purchase only? Btw, this trailer screenshot is what I am referring to. The suit on the left is the "simpler/cleaner" one ND the one on the right is the CW one we all know.
  13. Yeah, not sure if the exact color -- it appears Blue -- but I guess it might be a blu-ish purple -- I'll know for sure when I can inspect them upclose. I just re-watched the 2nd trailer and the 1st BP seems to be the one where they show it side by side to the CW suit. If you re-watch it that suit is actually quite a simple / cleaner design and it's actually growing on me vs. the more busier one.
  14. The head prints and torsos are very different from each other and different from the CW variant.
  15. The head's look awesome and the torso's look great as well though Of course, these could very well be preliminary runs -- does TLG do that? At any rate, like I said, I will be in a position to inspect them up close and personal in about a week or so -- I'll keep everyone posted...
  16. Guys, so I've seen 3 of the Black Panther figs (I'm 99.99% sure this is legit -- I will know for sure in a week or so...)
  17. Thanks for taking the time to explain. I guess it depends on what one considers "legitamately" -- i.e. I could hypothetically be in a position to buy some of these future releases early -- I don't know the original source -- but the seller is someone who doesn't trade in "fakes". If and when I buy these, am I allowed to post pics of it?
  18. I'm not sure if it counts as "news" -- but I have seen some of the upcoming MARVEL figs. I'm posting a comment about it in the dedicated Future thread.
  19. Oh is the future thread now up? Thanks, I'll check it out.
  20. What if it's not "speculation" -- i.e. I have either seen or have in my possession (or soon to have in my possession) an official future figure? Am I allowed to comment on it? I can answer some of these questions depending on what the "rules of the road" are... Thor Ragnorak [LEGOFIED] [MCU] by agoodfella minifigs, on Flickr
  21. might as well get paid for it!! Though if LEGO is reading -- I'm always ready to listen to a competing offer if you need a Marvel / Superhero fig designer!!! haha.
  22. Call me crazy but I'm pretty sure that Anti-Venom is based off of my earlier MOC ?. I'm actually happy to be getting a pad print version of it! ?
