What do you mean Bane did much more? Bane closed off the city, true, but after that he just sat around for months, and the film never shows you how it affects the citizens of Gotham besides for the one montage where people get kicked out of their homes. After that, for months of story time Gotham is shown just as a barren wasteland, and you barely ever see the regular joes. Joker in Dark Knight, on the other hand, constantly inflicts mass terror, which we see directly affecting Gotham. The boat sequence in particular is one of the greatest sequence showing normal people I've ever seen in a superhero movie. Joker is truly the most brilliant thing about this series (besides for the batpod, which is pretty damn awesome).

This is so lovely! Your circular presentation is an excellent choice for Dumbledore's office, which is rounded by design. You've packed in so many details as well, though it doesn't look cluttered. I particularly like your use of rowboats for book shelves. Excellent job!

There were more than one - the one Lucius was originally showing Bruce was the one that he also was looking at in the end, and he had gotten a second black one to give to Bruce. (What doesn't make sense is why Bruce would've fixed both of them, because he clearly took his black one back to the Batcave and we never see him go back to Wayne Enterprises, but a lot of details like that in the film don't really add up and I don't think it matters that much.)

LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors
Clone OPatra replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I have no idea what that is, so perhaps if I'd got the reference I would've understand what you meant. I don't even think it's a horrible angle; it's nice to see the thing from all angles. -
LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors

What's wrong with the picture? The picture looks fantastic to me. Perhaps you're saying something more about the angle by which the Rancor is shown, but I see nothing wrong with the picture. -
My microfig collection is (temporarily) complete!
Clone OPatra replied to AwesomeTaylor's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That's very cool! I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but LEGO sure has released a lot of microfigs already! I noticed, though, that it doesn't look like the Dumbledore microfig is there, unless I'm blind. Also, where dot he plain ones in the back come from? Are they real, or are they just brasso'd off? -
Well the reason he wasn't going out as Batman made sense, but it's sort of a good point about Bruce Wayne not wanting to go out and socialize as Bruce Wayne. That's a little weird, although not a big enough problem to bother me. The problems for me lay more with the overall plot. On second thought, reading purpleparadox's post, I'm not sure I agree with myself. Bruce Wayne going away made sense in the context, though you could say it was stupid how much he cared about Rachel that her death would cause him to hole up for years. I thought it worked fine, though. I still thought it was better than Amazing Spider-Man, though.

I know, actually. Here is what the torso actually looks like: On the official images, the grey rounded printing towards the bottom is not there, so the three red stripes continue all the way down to the belt. I was surprised by it back when I got the set myself, and I think the Fox in the official images without the grey part looks better. In the show/film Fox doesn't have the grey part on him.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Clone OPatra replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
The Superheroes line has gotten some new moulds, even single-use ones. Magneto's helmet isn't going to come out in another set any time soon, I shouldn't think. Nova's helmet is very specific. Other lines that aren't guaranteed sellers as well get new, specific moulds; Monster Fighters got the Werewolf head, the swamp creature mask. Toy Story had a new mould in every set! I really think it's more an issue of the mask not working very well as a separate piece. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Clone OPatra replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
All of the straps of the mask would end up being much thicker than we would like them to be if they were a separate piece. In the movies, the straps while wide are very thin and tight on the head. LEGO can't do such a thing, though, even with its more rubbery materials, since they might break. The top strap especially would have to be thick enough to receive the stud and still not break. It would end up being gigantic and everybody would hate it more than the printed version. So be happy that he's this way and that we get Bane at all. -
Yes, but it also worked with Banner, Rhodes, and Rachel in the Batman trilogy, not to mention James Bond. I think it mentally sounds like much more of a problem than it actually is. The new guy might not be as good as RDJ, but you'll be able to accept that it's Iron Man.

Palpatine's Arrest was on the TRU survey for special 10th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, the other choices being Home One (which won) and a Slave I with Cloud City landing platform. You may be thinking of a survey on Lego.com quite a while ago, maybe for the 30th anniversary of Star Wars (although I'm iffy on that), which asked about which sets people would like to see remade. I remember both the Gungan Sub and Sith Infiltrator on that survey.

If they wanted to, they could throw in a line about Stark having an accident and needing plastic surgery or something, but honestly I think they would just play it that it's the exact same person like they did with Rhodes and Banner. I agree that RDJ has done a tremendous, fantastic job as Iron Man and I heavily associate him with the character, but if a new actor showed up in the part and also did it well, it wouldn't be hard to get over. Especially if they want to continue the MCU for a long time, they are going to have to replace everybody.

Actually, he is only signed for 4 Marvel movies: 3 Iron Mans and 1 Avengers (as it turned out). He may re-up, but he may not. He's a person, and an actor, and may wish to pursue other creative opportunities. He'll fetch a huge amount of money no matter what. Kevin Feige said that he sees them not rebooting but simply finding a new actor to continue the character (which already happened with Rhodes anyway).

Additionally, who is to know that there is not significant overlap in the supporters for the various projects. If there was only one, there would not necessarily be so many more supporters, since each person can only support a project once.

Hooray, just what we all need...

She doesn't have a slope skirt, though, so she can't count with your lady figures in dresses

Why? There's been no indication of Black Panther anything. They could introduce him in Avengers 2, since they basically introduced Hawkeye in Avengers, but I'm not so sure. If they just add and add characters it will get messy, they'd need to take some of the other characters out of commission for the movie to add too many new ones. Also, wouldn't Guardians of the Galaxy factor in somewhere, since they're having their own film as part of phase 2?

I already posted some thoughts, but this is now:

It just reminds me of Little Orphan Annie. Creepy? Yes. Bad thing? No. I like the stylization. It still looks like Han.

I have read online that DC has claimed no plans for that nor:

In response to your second spoilered point: There is a Batman reboot rumored for 2015-ish, but that might now be Batman in a Justice League movie. I'm sure it won't be too long until another Batman movie.

Are you talking about the upside-down tiles, tiles with studs on top? Those debuted and are currently exclusive to the Ninjago Samurai Mech.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
Clone OPatra replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
He was a security guard in the Ang Lee Hulk movie, so they could potentially make a Stan Lee security guard as a nod to that at some point. Other movies where he has more significant or obvious roles were the newer Hulk film, where he drinks the bottle that has Banner's blood in it (but I don't think that fits into a set), and Thor, where he's one of the people trying to get the Hammer out of the ground. Overall, I think making a background character like a security guard that looks like him would make more sense. -
I agree with darkdragon; from the pictures it does not seem good enough to even be a LEGO prototype.
