  1. "Aye, we'll all get a good rest after this one." Battle Order: Hoke Alexis Namyrra Skrall Nur Stigveladi
  2. QM Note: I'll assume you're moving back to the Kitchen. The party returns to the dumbwaiter and has a look inside. From their inspection they can see that it is big enough to hold at least one individual.
  3. "Careful with those owls folks, one wrong move and we'll all be napping." Skrall shrugged off the gloom widow's bite and fired again at the third spider from the back row.
  4. Skrall loaded a bolt into his Hunter's crossbow before taking aim at Gloom Widow C from the back row. "Hold fast all, they're goin' be comin' in heavy from the onset." Battle Order: Hoke Alexis Namyrra Skrall Nur Stigveladi
  5. "I guess I'll hold on to these smokers in hopes of sellin' back in town. I agree with ya, Nur, I wouldn't mind lookin' at a few more trees myself and the wood ahead seems like just the right spot." Loot Division: Namyrra: Phoenix Essence Hoke: Phoenix Essence Alexis: Phoenix Essence Skrall: Wooden Shield, 5 Smoke Bombs Nur: Wooden Shield, Tonic, 2 Potions Stigveladi: Tonic, 3 Potions
  6. Dyric here's a muted yell from inside the room. "If he is around, he should know better than to bother a sleeping Metasimian. Now shove off."
  7. "You woke me up in the middle of my sleep just to ask me about how a dead man died? I work the night shift at the docks and I really must return to bed. Good day to you." The Metasimian slams the door shut in the Party's face.
  8. The heroes head to the final room, 206. Upon knocking, they are greeted by an angry Metasimian. "What is the meaning of this?"
  9. "Oh, well if you just send something to Clair of the Waltzing Dragon, I'm sure it'll find me eventually. Have a good day then."
  10. "Well that wasn't too bad. Anybody got any requests?"
  11. Well, that was a bit of fun Zepher. First off, thank you for allowing me to play and may I congratulate you on pulling off hosting. I know that it is not a responsibility that can be taken lightly and you did a great job of it. I agree with fhomess in that the pills ended up making the game very swingy as I commented before the game began, but it ended up being very close in the end anyways so I think it's a wash. I'm not sure if it was due to the setup or just how the night actions happened this game, but I felt that the town's ability to basically start a clearing machine (for lack of a better term) by day 4 and to some extent day 3 by pill usage and night actions severely felt out of balance. We, the scum, basically had to come out in the open and start grabbing pills in order to put a stop to the machine otherwise we would have slowly been revealed one by one with no chance. But again, since we came so close to winning, it's hard to say what would have happened if we had just been quiet. Also, since when has it been custom for a universal back-up to get a choice in terms of what role they back-up? I felt that kind of hampered us, as we couldn't pull off a successful role-claim without either the back-up or the Town PR counter-claiming against us. I can't say this was my best game as I ended up being pegged suspicious pretty much from Day 2 and only survived due to other members of my team being found more suspicious. I know my scum game isn't very good, but I guess the more times I get practice the better I'll get at it. The rest of my scummy team-mates did a really good job for their first or second time and apart from a few slip-ups I think we did surprisingly well considering the town we were up against. As to the end. :wall: Esurient and I both unvoted at the exact same time which ended up being our downfall. I tried to rectify it by acquiring enough penalty votes to keep him from being lynched, but realized too late that he was tied with Purpearljellyblob. Fhomess, were you planning on our unvoting at the last moment, because if so, that has got to be one of the most strategic plays I've seen in a long time. All in all, I had an enjoyable time playing with you all.
  12. "Well like I said, I was away with my mother when Mr Krook died and I can't think of any reason why anyone would want to hurt the sweet man. As for ghosts, I can't say I've seen any."
  13. "Murdered?! But Mr. Greely told us it was all an unfortunate accident. You don't think the murderer is still here do you? Am I safe? Should I go stay with my mother?"
  14. "Mr. Krook, ah yes. Poor chap. No I was visiting my mother when he passed."
  15. "What? Mr. Greely is dead?! When, how did it happen? I just saw him not an hour ago!"
  16. The Party knocks on the door to 204. "Who is it?"
  17. Nerwen's search of the cellar only yields a few half empty bottles of wine, nothing more.
  18. Nerwen and Cronk inspects the remains of Krook but there is nothing of value or interest remaining behind.
  19. "Hoke and Alexis to the front, Namyrra, you and I will hold the flanks." Skrall stands to the back of the knight and the harlot and does nothing. Battle Order: Hoke Alexis Namyrra Skrall Nur Stigveladi
  20. The party heads back down to the cellar. Gazing around, they do indeed spot the two drakes the ghosts mentioned.
  21. Perhaps the party should look for another way up.
  22. Cronk surveys his surroundings, but the party is standing on a small bare landing with nowhere to hide a key. Dyric starts swinging his chain whip at the door but to no avail as the door stands just as solidly as before.
  23. The hinges are upon the inside of the door.
  24. "Ummm, I'll have the janitor look into it." The party makes its way back upstairs. How will they attempt to break through the door?
  25. "Aye sound's like it'll work. Hoke, you heard the lady." Battle Order: Hoke (does something, just don't target a healer) Alexis (throws bomb) Namyrra (throws bomb) Skrall Nur (throws bomb) Stigveladi (throws bomb)
