"Undead? I am no longer undead and I do not intend to be "put out of my misery". When there are so many other planes of holding that operate on the same principles of oppression. Do you think corpses are simply machines to be used, fragments of the soul remain trapped unable to do anything as their bodies are ordered about this way and that like some sort of beast. No we will not stop until every last one of them lies dead." "Careful, hero, you're not making policy for us. We use the undead for a reason, fragment of a soul or not. They had their chance at living." "Besides, we're warriors, not janitors."

Spoilers
-
"In a former life I was known as Retak Ysp, a hero like yourself until my corpse was resurrected by these unfeeling "masters". But I regained my former glory and have made it my goal to rid the planes of their kind." The Fenarian raised a withered hand at both Greenhood and the were-vulture.
-
Polly lifted her head off the bar. At some point she had konked out and not even realized that a lot of people had left. "Ah Mr. Sanders, left again."
-
Skrall swapped his armors while assessing the growing mass of small persons. "Ya heard the man, Mr. Baron, just stoppin' these gentlemen ain't going to solve yer problem. If Posco here had an agreement, it's his job to fulfill it."
-
The Party heads out the door, necromancers and paladins in tow. Upon reaching the exterior hallway they come face to face with a massive hoard of Undead. Leading the way a gaunt crowned Fenarian stands bedecked in ornate white robes and scarlet red mantle. "So, it appears the reports are true. Heroica has indeed come to the aid of these oppressors."

No updates tonight folks, too busy unpacking.
-
Hey all I'm back. Updates should be coming in tonight. :smiles:
-
"The undead do not care for the possessions of others hence why we utilize them, or they shouldn't. I fear whatever has hold of them might be proving differently. There are nearly 65 undead out there, but I will trust your judgement in the matter, however I would not recommend we leave them here to overrun the plane, however necromancy is my expertise, heroics are yours." QM Note: This is my final post for about a week. Feel free to plan, theorize, whatever you'd like. I'll post the final battle should you choose to pursue that route when I get back. My apologies for the inconvenience, I really wanted to try and get this finished before I had to leave, however it was not to be.

Skrall regained his momentum as Silent Bull bowled into him, deciding chatter with the man was useless, he focused on his Blade. Taking a little more caution, Skrall attacked Silent Bull from the back row with his sword. OoC: Alright folks, this is my last post for about a week. Whoever feels up to it can control or comment for Skrall whenever they wish, I trust all 4 of you with him.
-
"As I said, it's not often such submissive creatures break free of the bonds we Necromancers put on them, without aid from some deeper enchantment."
-
Alistair shot a stern glance at Magwin. "I will deal with you later." "The crown is a merely a trinket nowadays with the advent of the phoenix essence. It served to revive the wearer should they succumb to a mortal wound."
-
"Your guess is as good as mine. One week ago we were tending to our regular duties, when we swarmed by our undead servants paying no heed to our commands. We were forced to retreat to what safety we could, but our ether and other supplies slowly waned. I attempted a few time to slip notes for help into some of the nearest doors, thankfully they seemed to have found someone. If this is all of you, then we're outnumbered four or five to one I'd imagine. Have you noticed any strange behavior from the groups you've encountered?"
-
"Aspirations of immortality, my good chap? Why don't ya join the list of those I've dealt with who learned otherwise." Skrall was really getting into the rhythm of the blade and advanced on Silent Bull from the front row.
-
"I doubt anyone's putting up much resistance in their, unless you've already found U'reeves. The issue of getting out shouldn't be too terrible now that we have a reasonable force to make a headway to the exit portal once I activate it, but there is the issue of letting the undead just roam free on this plane." Alistair indicated a deep blue set of robes poking out from under the pile of corpses, his head drooped. "Vesquinn fell nearly an hour ago, there were too many and we were both out of ether, so revival was out of the question. I'm afraid, I am all that's left." "Easily master elf, if there is someone else more powerful controlling them or if a Necromancer simply runs out of ether. We generally have a supply of tonics delivered here at the beginning of the week to keep us fully stocked."
-
Atramor plunges ahead the Party quickly following behind, dodging around corners and skillfully evading the undead. They finally reach the entrance to the Necromancers' Quarters. "Ah, heroes, was wondering when you were going to get here. Hope you didn't bring anymore undead with you. This pile I've got here is really starting to spoil the rug."
-
QM Note: Yep. If you want to use the same input system as the ice puzzle, feel free. Also as far as spotting goes, the undead see only in cardinal directions.
-
QM Note: Yes, the top of the room is your goal. Whenever you move the undead do the opposite. So you move up 1 tile, they move down 1 tile (if possible) etc. The arches are merely decorative and are actually doors to other pocket dimensions.
-
The party moves forward into the hallway, Aroosie leading the way. The party skirt past a large mob of occupied undead off to one side chamber and continue to the final hall near the Necromancers' Quarters. As the turn the corner they note three groups of undead all of which seem to be moving in the exact opposite of the party. How shall the party proceed without being spotted? [/url]

OoC: Skrall was using his Greatsword. Sorry my phone doesn't allow for bolding, but if you're going to accept his target, I'd appreciate the switch in weapons. Skrall twirled the sword in his hand, it had been a good while since he had last used a blade, but the steel felt comfortable in his hands. The ogre gave a quick flourish and attacked Silent Bull again from the back row.
-
"Looks like I'm dealing with captain tight-pants." Skrall drew his greatsword and keeping his distance, squared off with Silent Bull.

Ratabor expends 6 Ether healing the Paladins to full health. The party also find 2 Ether Cores in the Paladin's quarters. "Of course we're coming with you, we ain't daft." "So we're just going to let the undead overrun the place?" "You got any better ideas?" "Excuse me, but we'd best be going, don't know when another group of corpses is going to wander through here." Aroosie lead the party through the labyrinth of doors and hallways, until each of the party members have recovered their supplies. QM Note: My apologies, I read Razzmatazz wrong, it's 2 ether total for the spell not 2 per enemy. Fixed.
