Heroica RPG - Quest#123: A Present for Doc Daneeka

"Trust me, it ain't the most jovial of conditions, though if one has to walk around on this planet for the rest of eternity it beats being a zombie or a specter any day." Boris took a seat at the table. "You wouldn't happen to serve Myrrh by any chance? Imagine it doesn't get much call for around here. If not, a gin and tonic will do just fine." -

As they walked Boris gazed at the street urchins playing in the filth and the groups huddled around barrels of burning trash. The city was sick, but he knew not even Ennoc could heal it. The cleric turned to the barbarian. "Well Keliim had your fill of Eubric yet?" -

Boris donned the chain-mail, withdrawing a flask of oil from his satchel the vampire began to rub away at the rust as the group followed the were-raven. "The guards' only care for the troubles of the Hovels is that they remain contained within them. 'For the downtrodden will forever dwell upon Olegia.' The fifteenth of Detour stanza eleven part one. There's no such thing as a free meal U'or, I'm sure even Dastan has its troubles. So what's with Beaky? I assume you have some prior relationship with him?" -
Well water fills the volume of it's container so if Uland is originally secured to the ocean floor, than the sea level would have had to increase quite dramatically across the world, meaning more than just Mercution would have been destroyed.

Welcome to the internet. I'm still trying to figure out how the original city perished under the waves? Super global warming?

Also Dark Dwarves? How much more are we sticking under the surface of Eubric?

Boris wiped the sweat from his brow as he stowed his mace. The cleric gazed down at the rogue. "I've got a little bit of healing left in me." The vampire stared at the bloody body for a moment more before stretching out his hand and bathing Karl's wounds in a cold harsh light, healing him of his of suffering. "Next time more dodging and less Chi Monk, lad." -
10's are winnable through the use of a decamodifier, plus I doubt any Drafter's will be entering next year's contest as one of the main prizes is the class. As an outside observer I'd agree that something needs to be done about the first play, NPC's were really unnecessary, something should be done about the Etherial 1, and potentially allow people to buy more than 5 cards to give a little more variety in strategy, though I believe the cap helped keep some things equal.

Boris watched the young man crumble under the fist of the thug, without time to focus on the task at hand, his healing powers would be no good at the moment. The vampire diverted his gaze, "45 seconds" he pushed a surge of healing power at Keliim from the back row. "Hold tight." Battle Order: Boris Keliim -

"Keliim, what's the big idea? You've got to keep him busy, we can't keep having him heal his pal up." Boris moved to heal Keliim from the back row. -

I definitely designed the class with the thought that one had to spend a turn to discard or equip a shield, I wanted to make the decision between offense deliberate and not to be taken lightly. I may want to make an adjustment to Zweihander then. Also are most people thinking of going offense set with the Vindicator? The idea was to make the two sides equally appealing but if the offensive set is clearly outweighing the defensive set, perhaps a 1.5 multiplier would be better. Thoughts? -

Boris staggered back, a verse about taking another beating to his other side came to mind, but the vampire decided it was best to just be selfish and stay down for a quick moment to regain his breath. -

I still haven't figured out what's so appealing about the class and I never thought of Hoke as very religious. -

I kind of like that idea. And definitely, Vindicators of Tarok would be awesome. -

Sounds good, I'll fix those items and then put a final version up later this evening. Glad to see there's plenty of interest in the class, I'm now looking at putting together a quest that'll feature the class as a reward, but folks can feel free to send me a PM if you have an idea to offer it in another quest. I'm really interested in seeing some of the exploration of the current pantheon's followers. -
You still need to get to level 30, takes about 2-3 years, I think you'll have a good chance.
-
You were doing it for the benefit of your players, so you should be commended on being a good QM in that regard, just maybe a little too generous.

They currently allow access to gender specific items, so why not? I don't see any issue with gender-specific classes as long as they fulfil their own unique combat role, I'm sort of with Pie in that you'll probably not see as many players picking the class just due to even more specific requirements than normal.
