The party continues along the track away from the depot and soon find the carts slowing down into a long queue with many carts filled with mythril ahead of them. Up ahead the party spies a group of over a dozen dark dwarves unloading the carts though the party seems to have gone unnoticed so far.

"Terry's got a point there, sir. If your wanting help obtaining these bones we're looking at extra payment. Original agreement was for delivery only, you want more than that, you're going to have be more enticing." Boris surveyed the man's sword, thinking it odd that he'd have weapons unsheathed for a business transaction. -

"I'm fine Terry, I'll find a use for it at some point." -
The Party decides to take a few empty carts down the rails. Thanks to the rail map pieced together by Ellaria and Atramor the group navigates the multiple lines effectively. Approaching quickly, the group notes a turn in the tracks off the main route to the Eastern Depot, would the group continue on to the depot or take the turn-off?

Boris looks strangely at the Crimson Scorpion Dagger and shrugs stowing the odd weapon in his pack. "I'm all set if the rest of you all are. We'd best be on the watch for a druid, might be more beasties if we aren't careful." -
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the release of the Henrys have been moved back a week. Apologies for the delay.

"I wouldn't mind a restock on the Remedies I used." Boris healed each of his companions, cold soothing power emanating from his hands. -

"I've got you Terry, focus on the Spider." Boris attempts to heal Terry from the back row. -
"Nay, that stuff'll melt through a diamond though." "Well technically there's a stop in Brumpknob at the Eastern Depot where some of the ore is unloaded for the merchants and craftsman of the city to utilize, then the rest is shipped over to the Western Depot outside of Krumpknob where it's put on boats."

Boris sizes up the Spider from the front row. "Kheyli, you want to help out Torald with that Scorpion? The trick is to watch out for the stinger." -
With a loud splash, Alfred tumbles into the vat. "What in blue blazes! Get him out of there, he'll ruin the whole batch." "Aye, sir!" Moments later a shinier Alfred is fished out of the vat. Alfred (Nur can call his golem minion twice per battle to protect him from all damage and effects for the remainder of the round or once per battle to protect him and another party member from all damage and effects for the remainder of the round.) "Somebody want to explain what's going on here?" "Well sir, I believe the mage here was trying to adjust some equipment on his servant and the uncomely buffoon fell in. Thankfully he appears unharmed." "It's a miracle he didn't melt, do you know how much ore..." "Sir, it's getting a bit hot in here, don't you think it's time for a break? I've got a few bottles of rum here, I'm sure the crew would enjoy." "Heat? Yes, yes, your right. Best call the men over for a break." The Chief turned back to the Party, "Your news is troubling to me, I can see to it that I bring it up with the High Chief. Anything else you were needing?"

At what point however does a party member or member(s) actions become not allowable in a quest? What if part way through the quest a definitive split does occur and half the party wants to go one way and half the party wants to go the other and they are set at odds? Whose actions are allowed to matter? The majority? The party leader? Or none and the QM forces the situation? We still don't know what's going on behind the scenes in the current quest, but I'm sure we're going to have a lot to talk about once we do.

And they're highly over-rated if you're not trying to fly past levels.

The were-rat takes the medal in hand bites into it and pockets the award and the three rums and turns his back whistling. "I see nothing."

Boris readies himself to attack the Battle Ant Mob from the front row swinging his mace like in a crazed game of whack-a-mole, though he prepares himself to heal Terry if the mage takes damage. "Looks like our resident blizzard blower already took care of 'em. I'll try taking a smack at these ants if you don't mind." -
It's been stated from the very beginning that the main story is Sandy's, as the inventor of the game he has the right to dictate such. Thankfully he has graciously allowed players and other QM's to have a significant impact on the way the stories have played out. You can look at a wide variety of past Sandy quests and see how he has allowed others to change the world. We're allowed to make suggestions and bring up concerns, but in the end the game is to some extent Sandy's.

I agree, the only way I would do it is if Pala agreed to it, otherwise you totally remove agency of a player. It's understandable if you're really aiming for a mind controlled individual, but it's still someone else's time that they've invested to play in a quest. I have faith in Sandy though that he didn't go so far as to completely hijack Pretzel without permission for the whole quest.
-
If Pala's been playing a traitor all quest then that's just good gameplay on his part. If he was doing this of his whole volition would we criticize him?
-
At this point I see it as similar to Quest 49, I'm willing to let it play out and see how Sandy intends to resolve it. I'm not one for players being pawns to advance a plot point, but if their actions really have had impact on the overall ending of the quest, then I am not too upset about it.

"That's a lot of mythril, boss would not be happy about it, but your friend would probably last a round or two longer. Perhaps 200 gold and we could pretend he just fell in?" "Disappearing mythril? That ain't good, payment's been coming in fine from the depot. I haven't met with Kublin in a while, gosh must of been since he lost his hand. I've made it to Brumpknob a few times in the past month to speak with Head Chief Bratly concerning the state of the mines, but he never brought up a shortage."

"Jinnipher, I'm on my way." The vampire pulls another remedy out of his pack and uses it on Jinnipher from the back row. -
"It is indeed. The unrefined stuff isn't very shiny, once we've refined it it turns silver, and then as it cools it gains its opalescent appearance most people are used too." "I'm Chief Volaf of Clan Frumpknob. I oversee most of what goes on in this city, but I like to spend my free time down here at the smelters. Nothing like the feeling of heat on your face and a good piece of rock in your hands." The chief sets down the mythril he was inspecting, "What sort of thievery?"

"Kheyli, can you handle those Ebony scorpions from the front? I'll get right back to them once I've finished with this remedy." -
I think for an honorable mention we should include the most recent scene in 135 for the Most WTF Moment!
