Certainly a more streamlined approach than making a HUGE paw, I suppose. :D

One of the things that makes this forum what it is and (Lego Fans in general) is tremendous passion for what we love. I really do understand the re-action.

Look, before this gets out of hand... I just realized English is probably not your first language. I probably have been mis-interpreting the tone of your comments. I call work like I see it. You are clearly a true artist. As for hands. I've noticed you avoid the prefabs. I have taken that into account with my Bionicle specific MOCS. I like the pure utility of the U-CLAMP as hand. What do you attach the EXO arms to?

JEEZUUSSS! DECAF!!!! Defensive Much? The over-all forum is Lego Action Figures. Not everyone has to like or love HF to give their opinions. For instance, I like HF, but not nearly as much as I loved Bionicle (especially back in 2001), and even though I hate CHIMA as a Mini-fig line, I've actually enjoyed the 2 I've built so far more than I've enjoyed a great many HF builds. Differing opinions (presented fairly) make for more worthwhile discussion, my friend.

TAKUNIKA UPDATE...

The hunched issue was bothering me too. But, I realized it was actually an easy fix. That awful Stars head piece was the problem. By using a basic Mata head and then assembling in the correct Inika head mount (with a shorter beam for the smaller mask), it fixed the problem and he looks better. I'll post pics in a bit.

This is NOT a "BRING BACK BIONICLE" thread. I'm simply asking a straight forward question. Would a reboot of Bionicle work with the new Building System. Or is too much of what made Bionicle what it was...lost?

I'm starting to feel that from just a building perspective, so long as the U-Clamp (Bionicle Hand/technic pin thingy) is so heavily used (and it is the heart and soul of both Bionicle and HF...even now) then it is still Technic.

Somehow you made a robot look like it's muscle ripple when it's flexing and moving. That's astounding. You actually made a Bionicle figure that truly looks BIO-mechanicle. So far, my favorite of yours. Love the Metru masks as gauntlets.

And this leads to a question I've been meaning to ask for a while... You build in bulk with incredible detail. Where does it start in terms of concept. Do you look at a mask and conceptualize from there? Maybe build a body and then decide on a head? Or do you basically build them in your head from top to bottom first? Because, you make me look like i'm drawing stick figures in a notebook next to your Watercolor master pieces.

Actually this for all the world like a Bad-#ss upgrade to Photanka (sp?) Pohatu. I love the head.

Yeah, I thought about that. I think I need to add some Torso midsection bulk as well. Although, I am also keeping in mind the skeletal look of the original. I went in with the mindset that the original design was supposed to be him having upgraded himself with any extra crap he could find in a pretty slapdash way.

I agree with the splash of color. It kind of completes that very slick Veritech look you were going for. I like it. I could almost here the Harmony Gold theme music behind that bottom gun and shield pic. Good work. .
