Woah, that looks really sweet now actually, great job man!
-
Blue pieces in general are kinda rare, there's only been like what, 3 small sets and one medium one which contained the color so far? I guess if you're gonna make a Bricklink/Pick-a-brick order you should be fine though.
-
Sounds great man, hope you have enough pieces to pull it off. :V The blue ones especially might pose a problem since they're kind of a rare color.
-
Eh, I don't think you're old, just too conservative. Give new stuff a chance. Technic really doesn't mesh too well with HF IMO.
-
So yeah. I'm actually kinda proud of the lance itself. Probably gonna do only one more MOC in this series, a blue guy with a sniper rifle...

Eva, HASHIN! Also, for those not familiar with Neon Genesis Evangelion, this is what an Eva unit looks like: Not based on any of the unit designs from the show in particular. It stands 53 centimeters tall. It was originally going to have the shoulder pylons too but I just couldn't come up with a way to make a good looking solution with parts I have available. I think this is the tallest/biggest thing I've made so far. As always C&C appreciated.

No offense man, but have you considered using an image hoster rather than uploading a video to youtube? Still images are generally easier to appreciate than a moving video with silly effects all over it. The MOC itself is kinda nice I guess, if a bit basic. I like the choice of helmet for an angelic character.

Thanks for all the positive feedback! @xxlrocka Sure, but I'd really like to see the fanfic when it's done, if that's not a problem. @Draik Here ya go!
-
Pew pew pew. So yeah, this guy is supposed to be the long range support for Red Lancer here. C&C appreciated.
-
Realy like these guys, you conveyed the effect of creatures in some kind of armor/suits perfectly, and the faces look wonderfully expressive. My only qualm might be the skeletal waists, but I guess that was the easiest way to keep articulation in them.
-
Again, the head and weapons on this guy are amazing. Not so keen on the gaping hole in his neck though. Still, thanks for the in-depth review!

Spirals are pretty. So yeah, this guy is actually a revamp of an older creation of mine that I wasn't too happy with. The lance is inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion. C&C appreciated, as always.

Loving that weapon and head sculpt, thanks for the review!

The actual meaning of the name is goofy in any language, yeah, but I thought it sounds kinda menacing in German, to non-native speakers at least. I mean no offence of course :v
-
It is indeed, dark green. That variant came with the Glatorian Vastus set, if I'm not mistaken.
-
That's so simple yet extremely efficient. I LOVE the picture where you compare it with your own hand.
-
Thanks for the compliments, guys. @Aanchir the legs work surprisingly well actually, as long as you try to corrdinate both of the sides which can get a bit difficult in some poses, I admit. :v And yeah, I enjoy making robits with chunky proportions, they're loads of fun.
-
I really love the idea but it all seems kinda unstable, like a gentle wind would topple it over. I'd agree with the above comments that it needs more armoring on the legs and i'd just add more covering in general. Consider shortening the legs for a more stable look too, height isn't everything when it comes to looking powerfull.
-
DRILLFIST. So yeah, I just came up with a goofy head and I wanted to put it on an intimidating body, so this is what came out. C&C appreciated.
-
Yeah, really wish we actually had access to those shield parts in a blue color.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
WARHEAD replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Oh man, I'm not really into Chima but I'm gonna try and get Worriz just for the head. That sculpt is gorgeous! -
What it says on the tin I hope I'm not posting too many moc threads?
-
Love the expressiveness of that head, no matter how simple it is, also you can't go wrong with that color scheme. Really liking this little guy.
-
And his retinue. I made these guys so I had something for my Crusaders to fight. Tried to go for alien and creepy, yet elegant and delicate looking, hope you like 'em! C&C appreciated, as always.

Nah, I've been following bionicle too since its very beginning but I simply prefer HF parts since they aren't as textured/full of holes as technic/bionicle parts. It's just a matter of taste really. Anyway, I'm sorry for lashing out like that before, didn't mean to offend anyone.
