I\ll agree with you on the comment about rock being uneven and I could have included more asymmetry but why should I use more technic pieces? If I can achieve what I want without them, I really don't need to. besides I don't really like the aesthetic of them, all riddled with holes and completely flat. Is it just because you have a certain disdain for HF elements? EDIT I'm sorry if I come off as rude or something but It's just a pet peeve of mine when people refer to hf stuff as "inferior" or whatever and I got that vibe from the comment.

Some kind of rock monster with a horribly unoriginal name. The jaw is articulated. As always, C&C greatly appreciated.

Done! Also made a flight stand for Unit 01 because I can. The minigun and sword/jetpack units use the same frame with some slight modifications. The burly guy was based in part on Terminator armor of WH40k tried to get him to look like the helmet was fused to the torso armor. Oh, and the skirt armor connection Fish asked for. I hope you can make out how I did it from there. Also, the tanky guy uses a 3 long shell to connect his insted of a ball socket.

I've actually rebuilt the big and small guys completely and I'll be posting them here soon, when I get good lighting. I'll post how I did the skirt armor too then.

Bio-mechs built by a secret religious cult. Powered by potent psychic energies of the pilots. They regard them as the physical incarnations of their deity, Helbrecht. These are pretty simple but I wanted to build a group of characters who looked like they're part of the same group, both in color scheme and general theme. C&C very welcome!

Sure, go ahead. I dunno, jawblade's head is sleeker and fangz' has a huge gap in the bottom.
-
Thanks for all the compliments, you guys! @Zork Yeah, that shell piece fits really nicely in Jawblade's helm, almost as if it was intentional.
-
And his trusty hellhound companion. Again, no real backstory for this one, he's probably a demonic entity or something. The looks were heavily based on the angels from Neon Genesis Evangelion. C&C very welcome.

It came from this guy.

Thanks for the positive comments everyone! @Cirkit I used orange because I had only a few parts lying around in that color, not enough to build something with it as a primary color and I had no idea what to use them in. Also it goes quite nicely with the gunmetal, I think. Just a happy coincidece I guess.

Don't really have much of a backstory but I'm open to ideas. C&C appreciated.

It works completely fine, at least it did for me anyway. I don't really like printing that's too character specific so I take it all off.

Legends of Chima 2013 (Action Figures)
WARHEAD replied to DarkSurgeXL's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Worriz is worth getting JUST for the head, IMO. The sculpt is magnificent. -
Wow, dragon bolt looks so much better now.
-
Wow, that gorrila mech is sweet! I haven't really been following Chima that much but I'll definitely look out for this one when it comes out.
-
Those look pretty good actually, probably gonna try and get one or two when they hit the shelves.
-
Where are you guys even getting all this specific info from? Surely it can't be the tiny blurry screenshot from that video, right? My eyesight might just be really bad otherwise
-
Wow, I really didn't like Bulk that much at first, but that face is great, very evocative of old Transformers figures. Hope the visor is detachable.

Pyrox totally looks like a Reaper from Dungeon Keeper. It was like litteraly the first thing that came to my mind when I saw him.
-
Are you really dismissing the entire toyline based on the cartoon only. Wow.

Hello. I'm kind of new to this community, but I thought I'd share these with you because I like hearing other people's opinions. Please bear with the lacking image quality.
-
And Core Hunter still looks like a black blob.
-
At least it'll provide some nicer pictures from other angles that we can look at until the sets are out.
