  1. So, you're saying you didn't bother reading anything at all on Day One? There was a significant discussion about Tarben possibly being a traitor. Hello? Is Mist home?
  2. This is really disturbing. You do remember the part where Brand was Loyal, right?
  3. Mist is beyond her normal cuckoo-pants and acting really Scummy, agreed. To actually lunch someone who isn't Cranebeinn, I suggest we focus on either Jarl or Mist.
  4. You don't seem to be as invested this time. No, but you did repeat my case against Jarl rather succinctly.
  5. The way you keep flippantly changing your mind on people reeks of a Serial Killer attitude. Doesn't matter to you what happens. Scum, Serial Killer or Town, your game is off from what I'm used to. Toki has started a conversation with me in private to figure out how you've blown the entire situation out of proportion. It does seem like backtracking on Toki's part since he started the day explaining how my constant questioning meant I'm Scum and you're clearly backtracking, Tarden. I think if we're going to test one of you to see the affiliation of the other, we start with you. unvote: Toki (TrumpetKing) vote: Jarl Name-Loser (jluck) I felt the same way. I'm glad to hear you voice this.
  6. I hate to admit I found myself thinking if a lynch is even "possible" today... However, I'm trying to figure out where the best case is... There are six different people being voted for right now? Is that right?
  7. Tarden, this is back on you now. You made it sound in private like he was trying to convince you I was Scum. Was it just a slight mention of a tiny suspicion like he says and where did your idea that we can't be on the same side come from?
  8. Finally. The severity of your suspicion was communicated to me by Tarden. I am asking a lot of questions but they have substance. The answers to the questions could lead us to good information. I have certainly done a lot more than question. I've hypothesized a lot about who Scum are. You have only helped by pointing out how Scummy it was of me to call your post fluffy. That makes no sense to me at all. What is your view of anything else? There's a lot more going on.
  9. Never noticed before. This really should've accompanied a vote for me. That makes it even more suspicious that you are so convinced I'm Scum yet...wait for it...no vote.
  10. Since you posted, I highly doubt you were trying to hide...
  11. Something came up and I'm not ready to reveal what I know. I can't think of how to reveal it. If I tell everyone how I found certain things out I'm almost certain to reveal too much. I'm thinking... Cranebeinn isn't cleared, by any stretch of the imagination, but I do think it's best to keep him around for now. Then why now? What else has happened that has you campaigning for my lynch behind the scenes? I see. Bringing information about the tracker, vig and communicating now with the blocker isn't a contribution? What don't you like about questions? I haven't brought out the weird discussion with Brand and Tarden in private? I haven't gotten people talking? You have an odd idea of contribution. You are clearly acting like panicked Scum. You're focusing on a person who called you out for being suspicious and if I'm not contributing anything, you have a major deficit in the contribution column. You haven't asked any questions. You haven't made any cases against anybody. You haven't done anything but freak out that I questioned your fluffy post, not your vote, your incredibly fluffy post. Vote: Toki (Trumpetking) because a knee-jerk reaction to one accusation just can't be any Scummier. So, you want to lay it down on the line, that one of us is Scum? Do you want to force the entire game to choose between the two of us. You've lost your damn mind. Your reasoning for thinking I'm Scum doesn't make even the tiniest bit of sense. If I was Scum why would I try "so hard" (notice this is all based on one post, about 8 words if I remember correctly) to set you up for a lynch? The diabolical mastermind of Toki, I'm Scum and I absolutely must get rid of him by making one post pointing out how he made one fluffy post. Do you hear yourself? Panicked. Scum. Jarl, some of us can see when people are reading the thread anonymously.
  12. Good question. However, you were a major focus of yesterday and you seem to have slipped under the radar today.
  13. We'll have to agree to disagree: Wait, why?
  14. If you have some seconds left over, please tell us what you think the best case is right now.
  15. I'm with Agnar on the Jarl front: Something about this originally pinged me, I asked him about it and I don't believe he's responded. Seeming to know which kill was which and the motivation is Scummy, even if he didn't account for the Serial Killer, which I think he's been around long enough to know of that as a possibility. But mostly, he's pulled the patented Scum move of "I'm going to look back at what was said!"... Silence... Day One lynches may statistically flip Town but you still have to vote who you think the best case is. You don't vote expecting that person to be Town. Craney-Binn has given me the identity of the blocker. I am, of course, not giving that person any more information about the tracker or the vig. Right now I'm the crux of these three Actions (assuming the blocker is really the blocker). I honestly don't trust any of them enough to reveal anybody to anyone else. It's too early and we could still have some counterclaims. Patrekr could've been blocker or vig and if the Scum do have a day rolecop like my role in the last game, they could've taken out the Town role and are free to pose as Town now. Maybe you should try reading things. This is going to drive me nuts. No. Scum don't kill quiet players. At least not that quiet. You're speaking to the motivation of the Scum killer. It seems so much like you know why Patrekr was killed while, to me, it's baffling. He didn't ruffle any feathers, he barely posted, he voted for Brand. I'm worried he revealed his role to someone who was Scum and got himself killed or the Scum hit Day One rolecop (or shapeshifter) gold by targeting a Town PR. To metagame the host, I know he is not likely to repeat a role but he does like to add one mischevious role and try something new and be a little unique. The day rolecop Action was very helpful to us last time. Speculating on if he'd use it again or not is futile at this point but it's worth it to keep in mind that the Scum might've known his role and Jarl seems to know the Scum killed Patrekr. And he off-handedly names a motivation for the kill as well. Toki, Jarl, Cranebeinn. Which is the best lynch. Not "most possible". Best...
  16. I'm a little concerned about how you worded it originally like the conversation had just started at the end of yesterday. Can you please explain what you meant here?
  17. Or he thinks I'd be dumb enough to give him the identity of the tracker. If that's the case, it would be the second time he's fished for a role. But you make a good point. Would they put "all their Scum in one basket" and risk losing them both? Perhaps he thinks giving us the Town blocker (or again it might be him) will get him off the hook. His "lynch" does not have the momentum of the Brand–wagon so we may be onto something. So you went from being wary of this blocker to believing him because you don't want to be lynched? That's not a reason to trust someone. What does this mean? I don't follow. This would be why I announced it, so if this vig is the SK the real vig would know to contact someone they trust to communicate to us that I am indeed talking to the SK instead.
  18. Another simpler option that hit me as I was waking up is that your friend Patrekr PMed you separately from Kaupmad because he didn't trust him yet or trusted you more and confessed to being the blocker. If you're Scum you would've taken him out over that and that would explain your weird interpretation of what I originally proposed about the shapeshifter role. Your response was to a different accusation so I'm guessing that's actually what happened. PM me the name of the blocker and I'll tell the tracker but I have a feeling it's going to be you, you're the Scum blocker (or you're giving me the name of the Scum blocker) the tracker will see him target the person he says he's going to target and then a Scum will have access to the tracker and perhaps a Town block if it forms. I also wonder why you are so quick to trust the tracker I've been talking about since you have no reason to trust me that I'm telling the truth and seem way to willing to reveal this power role that has come to claim to you.
  19. If you don't have a Night Action, you are usually not notified if the blocker targets you. I'm not saying Tarr is Loyal, but you're making something out of nothing. Since you're not going to re-read what I wrote, I'll spell it out. Just because you have a PM with Patrekr doesn't mean he would be able to read your PM with the host. You can't have read what I said very closely if you think I'm suggesting he revealed it to you. If you have such an Action as my ancestor did, you would send the Action in during the day and get to copy it at night. Your personal message with other players would have no bearing on it. That's how a role works. The host communicates it to you. He doesn't join your Heroica PM and give you your Action results. I think I was pretty clear. You target the person during the day. If they have an Action, you can use it at night. There's no guarantee our host would re-use a role. However, he does like to throw in some trickery and Loki is the God of Mischief. Although Loki hasn't appeared yet in our story. But there are many possibilities and your talk of this blocker is weird. One second, you're wary of him, the next second you are betting barrels of mead that he has told the truth. What caused that change?
  20. What's "funny" is I didn't call out your vote. I noted that you didn't vote. Everything you said was fluff. Not voting just adds to the fact that your post didn't contribute anything. I wasn't calling out the fact that you didn't vote, I was calling out that altogether your post was fluff. And you waited until now to bring it up?? If it was such a case for you to think I'm Scum... Why didn't you vote for me. Instead you voted for Brand who you didn't find suspicious and actually said you thought he was just naive. You are acting like panicked Scum. And I'm not the only one concerned with your behavior. At least two other people mentioned you as Scummy at a point where you've only made five posts. Tarden says that we can't both be Town. I don't know why he thinks that, but if that is the case, then you are definitely Scum. I think the point is, did this person get a message that their Action was successful? Some hosts would give a successful result regardless if the person has an Action or not. I would, otherwise it also works as a weak tracker.
  21. Your ability to read leaves much to be desired. It took you nine minutes to post that?
  22. Before Ragnarok fell, my horrible ancestor Helga was a shape-shifter for the Servants of Loki. She could target someone during the day and see what Nocturnal Activity they could participate in and steal it, using it for herself at night. On Day One she found the Einherjar investigator and killed her and pretended to be the investigator for the remainder of the game. I'm going to guess you are a Corrupted shapeshifter, you targeted your friend Patrekr, found he was the blocker, killed him and the blocked Tarr yourself. The bet of the barrel of mead that you're sure isn't subtle. One way or another you know too much about this. You've been acting ludicrously Scummy and now this...and let's add fishing for the vigilante behind the scenes. This would make a lot more sense as to why, of all people, the Scum would choose to kill Patrekr on Night One. Vote: Cranebeinn the Redder (Chromeknight) **Not steal it, copy it.
