  1. There should be a release switch. Oh, Austin, don't tell me you've never seen one of these. You're a Texan... *passes out again*
  2. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz *bleeds* *snort* What?...what, huh? AAAAAAAAAAAH! Look at that! I've never seen my bone before. First time for everything. If you'd have told me earlier that something like this was going to happen I would imagine I'd panic. But, I'm surprisingly rational and clear-headed. Well, then again, if you told me earlier this was going to happen, I probably wouldn't have stepped in the bear trap? Get many bears in your stable, Jethro? Oh, this hurts. Here's what needs to happen. Jethro, you and Austin pull open this trap. Jethro, I'm sure you've seen how these work and Austin, you're from Texas. Please remove it as soon as possible. If you need more brute strength, pull Bulldog out of his timezone, please. Next I'll need Scruffy to lick my wounds and then I'll fashion a tourniquet with my belt. Whatever you do, for God's sake, don't use one of those rusty tools to pry the trap open. I haven't had a tetnis recently.
  3. I'll provide a little distraction. Jethro, where are the horses?
  4. While we're waiting for Jeb to answer any of the many questions we've asked him, let's take a look through this hay and at these tools. Is there a loft up in these stables? I'd look myself, but it's more fun to do stuff together...
  5. Oh blessed mercy, thank you Shadows!
  6. I know this is nitpicky, but will you please put spaces between commas and periods please??
  7. Thanks for posting that! I really loved the Police Station. It would be awesome if they released a set like that. I would buy 2. I took a screen cap to share it with everyone and discovered there's monorail track in the shot as well...
  8. Jethro, Ruffy said your father did a big repair to the barn about ten years ago. What was the repair for? Did he build any addition on to the stables at that time?
  9. I don't think we're looking for a saw. Ruffy said to check out the shed and stables, though. Maybe Jeb made some sinister addition a decade ago. A trap door or a hidden room. I think we should just investigate as much as we can with Jeb and Jethro around and point out or ask about anything that seems out of the ordinary or interesting.
  10. I am loving this topic! Thanks WhiteFang! I gave you Keeper of the Rules and I don't remember why but I do remember it was a positive. It was some discussion we were having and you were the only one who had a handle on the logistics. I wish I could remember what we were talking about... Brutally honest also came from me, but it's because you are always a soft-spoken voice of reason who gives excellent criticism in a constructive way. Yet, you never pull any punches. No, that was me.
  11. Here's your damn kettle, good buddy. I left an Eggo in it for you, what a good boy. Good boy! We'll play chess as soon as we're done with our little tour. Are you afraid of the stables, Ruffy? Or have you just seen them enough and aren't interested in joining us. *game aside*: Oh, shut it Kettle-head! Oh sorry. Speak up. I'm sleepy and I get a little deaf when I'm tired.
  12. *whispers to Austin and Bulldog* Remember what Ruffy said: OK, guys. I got us in. Let's gather what clues we can from the shed and the stables before he kicks us out. I hope there's something to find out here and not more kettle bullcrap.
  13. By the way, this kettle...Oh, never mind. And thanks for showing us the other places. I'm just so excited and I think your farm is about the coolest thing I've ever seen in my whole life. This is exciting. I envy the life you have out here. Must be nice and peaceful with the fields and the animals.
  14. Jeb, I'm so fascinated with farms. I know it's late, but would it be OK if we check out the barn and the stables? I've read so many books about farms and I'm so excited to see a real one. I doubt I could sleep from the excitement if I couldn't take at least a quick peek now. Please?
  15. Best of luck, sir. We'll see how that works for you.
  16. I PMed Brickster about it and apparently Scruffy made it up... Got me thinking, though! Nice job, Otters.
  17. There have been several posts and points made about it. Scruffy found it in the field after the train arrived. I think someone used it to pour something over the coals and discarded it. Scruffy gave it to me and I've asked to investigate it, but TheBrickster hasn't told me anything about it yet. You do suck, though. It's seriously been the focus of at least five posts... Yo, Sir Dillon: Stepford Wives. Unless you not knowing the reference is a clue that we have been transported back in time to the 1800's... with a convertible and a semi. Now, I'm just grasping at straws here.
  18. That's OK! Clearly, we need to be careful. Makes sense to earn trust, I say. I trust you as well. In this situation, anything seems possible. According to that link you sent me, we might actually all be dead.
  19. Is that a joke? I seriously hope so.
  20. I love our mini-chapter. We seem to be discovering a lot or at least postulating some interesting theories. I wonder what I find out when I investigate the kettle?
  21. Say, Alex...I wonder what I saw when I examined the kettle. Jeb, Jethro, Ruffy...since you stood on the platform so long staring into the train, did you recognize any of the passengers? Are any of them Willoughby residents or anyone who has been here or that you know? I had thought to google willoughby, but my blackberry didn't get a signal. Oddly enough, I have a signal now and just checked out the link you posted...in the air. Gart Williams? I wonder if he's a relative of Mark Williams?
  22. Awesome! Welcome to the site. I don't think you're the worst at all. I'm glad you registered and that you have an interest in what us crazies build. For a moment, I thought you were my partners until you got to the BrickFilming part. I hope you have a lot of fun and inspiration from our community! Welcome welcome welcome.
  23. I'm sorry Ruffy! I don't see how asking a question doesn't mean I'm normal. You see, she invited all of us on this train trip and it turns out she never showed up... Do you guys think that the mayor sent us those invitations? To get people to come to the town and then sabotaged us here? Maybe he killed Eleanor's fiancee too? But why? But maybe there's something there. Ruffy, tell me what you think of the mayor, please. But, you are a good boy, Ruffy and I do like you. Can I give you the rest of these Eggos? I promise not to mess up your hair anymore. Does you like a belly scratch? Can I scratch you belly? Want to play some fetch? You seem too smart to play fetch, but it sure is fun. I bet it's a guilty pleasure. We can play Chess, Ruffy! Do you like Chess. *Herman wonders if Elizabeth Rose Thornton could be a cover by this crazy mayor to trap us in this crazy town... While waiting for Ruffy to get a chess board or a ball he examines the kettle and hopes Alex will tell him what he finds sooner than later. *
  24. This was directly related to you voting for the Inquisitor. I had nothing to do with the telescope title. IMHO, it doesn't reflect your obnoxious 12 year old lawyer self very well at all...
  25. I added a link to the second season in the first post and unpinned the season 2 thread. Congratulations on completing another season.
