  1. Vote tally Lauren Lamb (Zepher): 14 votes (def, WhiteFang, Eskallon, Rick, TinyPiesRUs, iamded, Quarryman, I Scream Clone, Dragonator, Shadows, Walter Kovacs, Rufus, CorneliusMurdock, Ricecracker) Non-voters: 7 (Scouts, badboytje88, Fugazi, Lord Arjay, Zepher, Inconspicuous, Professor Flitwick) Lauren Lamb has been convicted and the day is over. Mod note: Since some of you like to find clues in pictures and jokes in clues no matter how hard I try to be clear, I'll no longer be trying to be clear. As Marcellus the Monk was finishing reconstructing the gallows, Lauren Lamb was brought to the village square by her accusers, once again being Helen Hippo and Edgar Elephant. Everyone knew that Lauren Lamb was one tough cookie and wouldn't be going quietly. Before anyone knew what was happening, Lauren Lamb had thrown Edgar Elephant to the ground and began attacking Helen Hippo. "You horrible bitch! How'd you manage to convince them all to vote for me?" Lauren growled right before biting Helen's face. The two assertive women squared off with their weapons of choice. Lauren Lamb had her lawnmower and Helen Hippo was ready to rake the lawn of the village square with Lauren's dead body. Nobody knew how, but suddenly Lauren Lamb was wielding a torch. She charged at Helen Hippo determined to send her back to a pile of bones and ashes. Helen had no desire to burn to death again, so she jacked Lauren in the throat with the rake. Lauren fell to the ground and accidentally lit herself on fire. As suddenly as the torch had appeared, a barrel of gun powder appeared. Thinking quickly, Helen pushed the burning Lauren into the barrel... ... which quickly and violently exploded. When the smoke cleared, the confused villagers found no trace of Lauren Lamb. They spoke amongst each other about the odd events and stared at the scorched ground where it had all occurred. "Sorry I had to resort to violence, everyone." Helen Hippo apologized, "She used the B-word. Swearing is not proper behavior for a cute and adorable animal." "Tell that to Dr. Fuckwit, bitch," someone called out from the crowd... _____________________________ Day Three is officially over. Please get your Night Actions in as soon as possible. I will get Day Four posted quickly although, it still may take until Saturday afternoon, about 36-40 hours from now. Thank you.
  2. Vote tally Lauren Lamb (Zepher): 14 votes (def, WhiteFang, Eskallon, Rick, TinyPiesRUs, iamded, Quarryman, I Scream Clone, Dragonator, Shadows, Walter Kovacs, Rufus, CorneliusMurdock, Ricecracker) Mod note: Apparently my mistake had little to do with the conviction. It doesn't seem likely that anyone will unvote, so I will close the thread in five hours. If you want to be good players, you can start sending in your night actions early. If something drastic happens, I will, of course, allow changes up to the ful 24 hour deadline... Thanks
  3. Mod note: If there is not un-voting by the day's 48 hour mark, I will honor the conviction and end the day early. I'm so so sorry for the mix-up.
  4. Damn it. Don't listen to God when he's tired. There are 48 hours to vote, leaving 40 at this point. I'm so tired. It takes 11 votes to convict. Vote tally Lauren Lamb (Zepher): 12 votes (def, WhiteFang, Eskallon, Rick, TinyPiesRUs, iamded, Quarryman, I Scream Clone, Dragonator, Shadows, Walter Kovacs, Rufus) Mod note: The reason we have the delayed vote is so a person can't be convicted without first defending themselves, which is what has happened here. Since it seems you all thought you only had 24 hours to vote, I will allow you to unvote even though a conviction has already been reached. In the future, please know that no matter what I say, there are 24 hours before you can vote and 48 hours to reach a conviction once voting starts. Thank you.
  5. The Baker and his wife stood by the fountain in the village square, enchanting a frog. "That's a very clever spell," The Baker's wife said to her husband. "Well, the villagers need a place to get answers," The Baker agreed. "One village member may ask this frog a question once a day and he'll clearly answer their question. No tricks, no riddles, nothing. Just plain straightforward information. That's what they need to win this." "No more megablocking anagrams." The Baker's wife frowned. As The Baker and his wife left, Daxia suddenly appeared. "We can't leave this thing laying around," she said. She zapped the little frog with a curse. "Ouch," said the frog. "And for good measure..." Daxia chuckled and she zapped the little frog again. "Ouch," repeated the frog. Later, Marcellus the Monk approached the frog and asked "Who are the members of the Demon Legion?" But, the frog didn't give a clear answer. Instead he asked a riddle: "There is a common word in the English language that is 9 letters long. Each time you remove a letter from it, it remains an English word - from nine down to 1. What is the word and the eight other words that it becomes after each letter is removed?" The first person to PM the answer to Hinckley, using their role PM, gets to ask the frog a question.
  6. Mod note: I'm tired and I want to go to bed so voting is starting one hour earlier than it should. If this upsets you, wait an hour to vote. You may now vote. You have 48 hours to reach a conviction.
  7. Thank you. Sandy, thanks for playing! You'll be missed.
  8. Mod note: Stop the metagaming
  9. So many delays and the picture size is high-res again but letter-box ratio...which is actually kind of cool. Anyway, day 3 is now posted. Enjoy.
  10. Players only please! Bristol Bunny had accepted her fate. No more screaming and hysterics. She knew her duty. When the demon arrived she hoped it would be quick. The demon grabbed her swiftly, tearing her arms from her sockets, even knocking down one of the gallows. It took a sickening bite of her and extracted her soul... ...leaving a lifeless bloody pile of body parts and organs. Wendell Walrus crept through the night and arrived at the burnt out shell of Booker Bear's home. He was carrying a white bag of magic powder. He poured the powder over Booker Bear's corpse. The powder started its magic. Amazingly, Booker Bear was re-animated! However, the hair had still not grown back on his arm. "Wendell, did you do this?" Booker asked. "I mean, wow! Thanks a ton!" But, Wendell's magic came with a price, and he lay there lifeless on the ground, having sacrificed himself for the stinky bear. A shadowy figure came up and aimed a wand at Wendell. The wand shot a powder at the lifeless Walrus... ...and pulverized him to a pile of bones. "Hey," Booker admonished the shadowy figure, "He's already dead." "Aw, poo." Said the shadowy figure. "Well this is awkward," Booker said. Helen Hippo awoke to a loud knock on the door. Thinking it could be someone needing help, she ran to open it. But it would not open. The knocking was hammering. Unfortunately for Helen, a shadowy figure with a hammer and a gas can had dropped by to pay her a visit. "Stop right there!" Cried Brigit Bunny. "This magic orb will stop you from harming that woman!" The figure lit the fire. Brigit Bunny's magic was useless against it. The creepy figure began to dance. Another shadowy figure ran up and blasted Brigit with a spell from a magic wand. The spell obliterated Brigit Bunny's body... ...and left a lifeless pile of bunny body parts on the ground. Helen Hippo burst into flames... ...and her home quickly burned to the ground. As the sun began to rise, yet another shadowy figure was seen, this time, approaching the burned remains of Helen Hippo's house. The figure produce a jar of magic balm and spread it on the charred corpse of Helen Hippo. As the balm began to work its magic, the figure slipped off into the forest to avoid detection. Helen Hippo awoke to a new day and a second chance at life. "Who has given me this gift?" She wondered out loud. In the village square, Marcellus the Monk was telling the people the sad news from the night. "We have lost our dear friend, Wendell Walrus, who was a loyal member of The Village. We have also lost another dear friend, Brigit Bunny, who was also a loyal member of The Village." And just then, Booker Bear entered the village square. Marcellus the Monk was so excited to see him, he rushed over and hugged him, welcoming him back to life and the happy, adorable village of Spring Haven. "It is true the every day has its own evil, and its good too!" Said Marcellus the Monk, quoting Van Gogh. "What of Bristol Bunny?" Someone asked, "Who was she aligned with?" Marcellus the Monk looked uneasy as he answered, "We are unsure. Her body could not be found." ______________________________________ Day Three has begun. Voting is not allowed in the first 24 hours. Objective The Villagers must find and eliminate all members of The Demon Legion. The Demon Legion wins when they outnumber the innocent Villagers. Rules 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Village or the Demon Legion. To win the game, the Village must kill off all the Demon Legion, while the Demon Legion needs to outnumber the Village. Third-Party (neutral) characters have their own win conditions as outlined in their roles. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, un-voting is to be done in the format; Un-vote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. You are only allowed one un-vote a day. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. 3. A game day will last 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage. 4. The alignment of lynched players will be revealed at the beginning of the next day, as well as those that died during the night. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but only in your own words. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. It is very important in this game to not discuss anything with dead players. I will only say this once. Don’t screw yourself over by revealing anything to a player who seems to have been removed from the game. Get it? 8. You may not edit your posts. 1st offense: penalty vote, 2nd offense: The untimely death of your character and the end of your game. No chance for resurrection. 9. You must post in every day thread. One day without a post and your character will be comically killed off. 10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. 11. It is recommended that you turn off your profile views for this game. 11. Thanks for your patience everyone! I have taken the pictures correctly this time. I am swamped tonight but please expect the next day thread in the next 3-4 hours.
  12. Aw, thanks guys. For those of you waiting, I will start sending out night actions in one hour.
  13. Update: Due to my ridiculous schedule, I will send out the results of night actions 10 hours from now. Following that, the new day thread should be up 1-4 hours after the night action results go out. If I have trouble getting everything ready, I will post the new day without pictures and update it when I have time. It's still all less than 48 hours but not as quickly as I would've liked it to be. Sorry. Mostly, I just want you guys to know what to expect.
  14. Thanks to overtime at work (and accidentally setting my camera to e-mail attachment size and therefore wasting tonight) Day Three will not be up for another 24 hours. Sorry.
  15. Vote tally Eskallon / Pennie Pig: 1 vote (penalty) Bob the Construction Man / Bristol Bunny: 12 votes (def, WhiteFang, Walter Kovacs, Sandy*, Quarryman, badboytje88, Rufus, Rick, Lord Arjay*, I Scream Clone, Shadows, Scouts) TinyPiesRUs / Lazlo Lion: 6 votes (Eskallon*, iamded, Fugazi, Professor Flitwick, Zepher, CorneliusMurdock*) Non-Voters: 5 non-votes (Bob the Construction Man, Ricecracker, TinyPiesRUs, Inconspicuous, Stash2Sixx) *Votes appearing in Rouge are locked in and cannot be unvoted. The day is over and a conviction has been reached. You have decided to lynch Bristol Bunny / Bob the Construction Man. Bristol Bunny attempted to run off into the dark forest, but her accusers stopped her and brought her back to the village square to be chained up. Marcellus the Monk couldn't bear to watch as Bristol began to cry. "I know it's for the good of the village and I love this village with all my heart, but why me?" She cried, "I don't want to die." The villagers couldn't watch either. "Please, please, not me!" Bristol continued, "I still don't understand why you've all chosen me. What did I do?" Everyone looked at the ground or away from the spectacle as Bristol began to beg for her life. "Please, let me go home!" Bristol screamed, "I just want to go home. I want to wake up in my bed and realize this is all a horrible nightmare. Please, let me go home!" Not even her accusers could look at her as she began screaming hysterically. "Help! Please, someone help! I don't want to die! God, help me please!" Day 2 has now ended. You have 24 hours to get your night actions in. Day Three will be posted as soon as possible.
  16. The day will end in one hour and fifteen minutes (1:15). In case you are wondering why it's so far off from the time stamp of the first post, it's because I started the thread in a secret forum and moved it here when it was time to start the day. The time stamp of the "Day Two is up" post in the discussion thread is what you should go by. And don't forget there was a time change for those of you who live in daylight savings. Most of the day threads and night posts are saved in another place. Life is hectic with overtime and other commitments, so I'm trying to stay ahead of the game a bit.

  24. Mod note: *time to throw down* *bangs head against wall* *Checks to make sure he's in All-Star game and not mafia school* I posted jokes at the end of Day One and warned people not to find clues there. Any other pictures I post may have pertinent information or clues in them. I refuse to point out the difference. Don't make me cut all the jokes and fun. Differentiate, people. It really can't be that hard.
