  1. I know, I know, I know. I realize that. I'm really sorry. I'm not trying to pester you and I'm not Scum. I'm explaining what I've been doing and trying to discern your behavior. The problem is everybody is still reading Town to me! and I'm trying to go through process of elimination as to who the Scum are. I don't have much to work on. You're reacting to me like I'm a hot stove, but I could imagine that's because you've been burned by me before. But for the love of all that is Not Kyle, if you are Town, please consider that I am also Town, because I am, and if you get a bandwagon going on me, we've lost. No, not obviously. This is my concern about your claim to visit Baiucky. I hinted in thread yesterday that I knew you did something at night but that is only because you didn't believe Kendall's claim. I was definitely fishing. Why did you choose Buuiocky? Because it seems like a convenient claim considering that she was killed that same night and I was saying there might be info regarding what you did. So this would be a good cover in case I did have information knowing that you targeted Beeeucky. As you accused Kendall, Scum could just say, if they're caught targeting a player who was killed, that they were just visiting. So again, the question is, why Baaaacky? Why wouldn't a visitor be able to visit a dead person? What do you think a wake is? Right. Two would be the maximum for the "more than one" aspect, because it was only Autumn and me that didn't vote. Again, no. I'm not trying to tear down the things you say or even don't say and I can't possibly know if you are or aren't a knitter, because I'm a Townie with Jack Kyle to work on, but my concerns are valid, so the stove has been off for a long time. It'll only burn us if we both keep expecting it to be hot. If we're both being manipulated then we're doing the Scum's work, you and I together, and murdering the Town ourselves. Cards on the table, I know of a blocker, a protector and an investigator. Additionally, I believe we had a vigilante. If you're any of these things and you haven't been talking to me behind the scenes, it's time to claim against these claims in case I'm being lied to.
  2. She said she visited Baeicky! Ah, shit. I read too fast again. Kendall claims she got a successful result on Night One when she visited me but we only have Kendall's word for that. I was given no indication that I received a visit.
  3. I don't find that answer sufficient. I do contact people on Day One. Especially when they say this: That's how a Townie with a matching role claim responds. So I contacted her and she did, indeed, claim to also be a visitor. To be honest, (or not mix up my stories ) I actually contacted her on Night One but only because I was traveling and missed the end of Day One. But, I was proactive—for the book club—once I got back in town. The first few posts on Day One are normally fluff, so I have the habit of skimming them. My Day One performance here sucked and I had no idea that Kendall had claimed. I summarized what I scanned in my head as people making jokes about visiting people at night for perverted reasons and even rolled my eyes at how stupid Day One posts can be. It wasn't until after I had asked Kendall what the Kyle she was talking about that I saw the role claim. I did not immediately vote for her because of the details in her claim. As I said, I probably would've voted for her to achieve a lynch so we could all see voting patterns. I know you said yesterday that this was a Scummy idea, but you said: "Everyone who is now saying they would have voted for Becky" but that was only Autumn. Why didn't you say Autumn? That pinged me at the time because it was like you didn't want to say her name to directly implicate her. You haven't answered any of my questions. For you to now be going after me (again) and coming to the conclusion that there are several visitors, your opinion of Kendall has to have changed. Why? You can't simultaneously believe that she's also a visitor and that there are many visitors and still think she might be Scum. There's a lot of logic and reason missing here. What led you to the conclusion that there were several visitors? Because all you've stated is that Kendall has the same role. Why isn't Kendall lying Scum? Also, why do you think your role was unsuccessful both nights?
  4. I was going to leave it there, but I'll keep going. My problem with your claim is that I believe you and I'm getting nervous about where I've dug my heels in. I have some other questions, if you could humor me. You clearly think I'm Scum but I'm not, so there. Obviously, I didn't read your post thoroughly enough before posting a response. You said why you voted for Kendall, initially but it still raises more questions. Why didn't you mention anything about Kendall yesterday? If you think she's Scum because of the matching role claim, why not go after her again? As you asked me, did you contact her in private before you voted for her? What about Kendall's actions (or private communications) have made you feel now that she isn't Scum and just has a matching role claim to yours and that all vanilla townies are visitors? That's my biggest question about you right now, what changed your mind and brought you to your current conclusion? 3 (11) days after she made her initial role claim? Yesterday, you said I formed a group against you...by voting for you. That's pretty consistent. If you read what I've said in this game, you'll see I haven't mixed anything up because I don't have any stories to mix up. I don't believe I've even told any stories. My cases against you and Robert were both piecing together your behavior because that's all I have to go on. True. My bad. Sorry about that. I mentioned it above but we cross-posted. When did you come to this conclusion? This means you trust Kendall now. Why? Also, what seems "scum-leaning" about it? How have I proved I'm willing to get us all killed?
  5. I'm amazingly talented with my ability to form a bandwagon on you and Robert, aren't I? Funny, I didn't say a word about Robert until Autumn did. Adam also had a lot to say against Robert, but you don't call him out, either. Interesting. I think that's where Autumn found her plan to save your megablocks. Robert did say some concerning things and Autumn dug into the things Adam had pointed out. Why are you not scrutinizing Adam or Autumn who, using reason and logic, were the ones actually formed the bandwagon on Robert? So, you're a visitor now? Why would you vote for Kendall for claiming visitor when you yourself were also a visitor? Wouldn't it be uncanny that she was describing the exact role you had? I could see if your were the investigator and Kendall had claimed investigator but Kendall claimed the role with specifics that must've matched yours, right? So, then why are you just now claiming to also be a visitor?
  6. Shhhhhh...they're sleepy from murdering. Let them get their rest.
  7. Autumn did do an excellent job at steering us off of Miranda and onto Robert. Let's be honest, though. So did I. I actually cringe at thinking how I went off for 3 or 4 posts about Robert clearly slipping up. I even thought I should lay off because slipping up in lying is an indication that he's actually a very honest person. Turns out he just had holiday-brain, I suppose. I still don't feel good about it. It seemed like a solid read at the time.
  8. For what it's worth, I think we're the Book Club and those other two are the Knitters.
  9. How the actual Kyle was Robert a member of the book club? I was so convinced with what his mindset on Kendall seemed like. This absolutely blows my mind. And another murder in the night. I really thought we were onto the Knitters with Robert and Miranda. Confidence blown, I need to go back to the drawing board. By process of elimination, I suppose most of my suspicion right now falls on Autumn. I think we should take a moment to honor poor Chelsea. Killed with an ice cream cone? How does that even work. Are we sure she's dead? Maybe just slightly bruised and very sticky somewhere. But she was a good kid and fun to talk to. I think she liked Chad. I caught her visiting him at night from time to time. I really think she was the right type of girl to make a better man out of him. He was going to ask her to the Saylor Swift concert. She wasn't a Taylor Swift fan but she just loved her evil twin Saylor Swift. But, mostly, it was just so much fun to chat with her about the conflict between us book club members and the knitting bitches. I will truly, truly, truly miss her. And if she's in the afterlife cursing herself for trusting me and wondering if I killed her, I would just like to say, "Fuck no, I did not. This sucks. I was having a lot of fun chatting with you. I've never been anything but honest with you...in this game...of life." Just in case she's listening. Her spirit, I mean. Or from her hospital bed where I hope they're bathing the ice cream off of her. Or on a dead writeboard, whatever that means.
  10. Thanks for updating us.
  11. You all know I have to make my point to the nth degree. Here's more evidence that Jack is Scum and really revealed the Scum's reasoning in not killing Kendall. You cannot have little trust for her in the first post, still be wondering if she's lying in the second post and believe her roleclaim in the third. They don't scan together. You can't tell us you were trying to get in the Scum's heads and figured they didn't kill Kendall because she has a useless role, have any way of actually knowing her roleclaim was true, not believe her earlier and now put her in solid green to explain how you're reasoning the Scum's tactics. You slipped up. You know the Scum's tactics because you are Scum. You know Kendall is telling the truth because you know she's a Townie and has no reason to lie. Go ahead an claim investigator now. I can't see anybody believing you after you've already revealed yourself as Scum. Even Miranda, your Scum buddy, has to vote for you now!
  12. It's impossible to believe. For you to get to this conclusion, even if you're Town trying to get inside the Scum's head, you have to know that Kendall is Town and that her roleclaim is real. You are still showing your Freudian slip. You just spelled it out even more clearly. You are still telling us that you know for a fact that Kendall's roleclaim is true. You cannot know that unless you are A. Scum or B. The Town Investigator. Are you claiming Investigator? Do you need to research that like you did Vigilante? The Investigator can target one player at night and will learn their alignment in the morning. Because that is the only way you can be making this assumption about the reason why Kendall wasn't night-killed and be Town.
  13. I always think these games need more me, so I'm needlessly posting more that I've picked up about Robert. Self-awareness doesn't always beget self-improvement... Here, Robert is referring to why Baucky was chosen as the night's target, or more specifically why not Beecky. In the predicate to his question he says that Kendall saved herself by claiming a useless role. She saved herself from a night kill by claiming a useless role. Read it again. He know she wasn't killed because she claimed her role was useless. It's almost as if he knows that Kendall is telling the truth because he know's she's a Townie and has no reason to be (unless-she-was) lying. And he seems to know why she wasn't night killed. I know your a man, Robert, put fix your skirt, your Freudian slip is showing. Also slippy, in this quote (if you click the little arrow, you can see it. I already deleted the part where he says it) he talks about how many knitters are in our circle. Are we a book circle? No, but there's a knitting circle. Adam, nobody's name is Shirley. (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) Bam, yeah Autumn! Get him. It looks like he has known Kendall was a Townie all along, knew her roleclaim was true and knows why she wasn't the night-kill target. Get a rope. Kyle, get a rope. Seriously, Kyle? That's an extension cord. A rope, please. Google it.
  14. Great point, Kendall. I'm glad I forgot to stop by yesterday and vote for you, and Autumn and Buocky also forgot, because then you might be dead. And I think you're a lot cooler today than I did yesterday. Just be glad I was picking Chad up from the police station again and forgot we were forming a lynch mob.
  15. In the interest of reaching a consensus, I'll unvote: Miranda Beal (Darkdragon) and vote: Robert Stewart (JackJonespaw) I concur with the concerns raised by Autumn and Adam. Adam, you're a stone cold bitch voting for your brother or husband, or whatever he is, without even a mention of your relationship to him, whatever that is.
  16. Who's paranoid? I don't see a group formed against you. What are you referring to? I see one person voting for you, me: Karen. Can I ask for clarification: why exactly are you voting for me? Thanks, Miranda! I love your French Onion Dip. Please do share the recipe...soon. What's your secret ingredient? Tastes like OMGUS.
  17. This is a great case, Autumn. This is my second candidate for a lynch today. If we can't reach a consensus, I could easily switch to Robert. *second favorite.
  18. Jesus... I didn't instruct anybody to do anything. It went something like this: Karen: Who did you target? Kendall: You!
  19. Vote: Miranda Beal (Darkdragon) Yesterday, she was suspicious of and voted for Kendall. Today, she came in and accused me of being bananaman. She didn't come out and say it, but someone being involved in clubs previously, I'm assuming is me. Little history lesson: I epically failed at Bloodbrick Mafia by starting the "Jesus Garden Club." I've also caused other epic losses by gathering information and revealing it to the wrong people. To be honest, I've gotten better and worse over time but do have the tendency to be the Karen people confide in, even when it's unwarranted and gets everyone killed. I also have a tendency to narcissism and ramble about myself often, where was I?? Oh right, Mirand and her knitting needles. She didn't come out and saying it but she was throwing shade at me, at least I think. The first person to accuse me after I earned (5? 2? 19?) penalty votes. Weird that she dropped her suspicion of Kendall without any explanation. Then she suggested that I'm forming clubs. Does she know I was talking to people behind the scenes somehow? I blatantly admitted to contacting Kendall. I said I would've voted for her, but today I haven't accuse her at all. Isn't that cause for suspicion? No? Why not? I'm suspicious of me for it. Why isn't Miranda who seemed to want to accuse me with her first post but didn't? Add to that that she accused everybody in the game, vaguely. Typical Scum tactic to seem active is to throw a bunch of questions out without reaching any conclusions. Then she vaguely hoped some Town Action would turn up some direction for us to follow. You have to make do with what you can. Hoping we can rely on some Town Action to be revealed is not proactive, but publicly hoping for it is at least slightly Scummy. Add to that, she didn't see any reason why bananaman with the fish wouldn't be bananaman with the croissant. Reeks of someone who glossed over the day opener just glancing at the pictures "Oh good, Baecky died..." without reading the info the host was giving us regarding bananaman alignment. We have no way of knowing for sure who is a member of the Knitting Circle but I find her incredibly suspicious and I know she's up to something. How do I know? I heard from somebody about her. Maybe it's just a rumor...from that new club I formed.
  20. I could repeat myself or you could read my first two posts again.
  21. Yes, she did make an odd post about hoping somebody saw something. Maybe somebody did. But it's pingy because it's fluff and it seems like someone fishing for info. But you just said " Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm." Which is just what pinged me about Miranda. You're kind of accusing her of being Scummy without actually accusing her. The two of you maybe trying to make it look like you're not on the same team? Look, we suspect each other! But you both employed the same Scummy tactic of throwing suspicion towards someone without being explicit. Hoping someone else will pick up on it and run with it? I realize my theories bounce back and forth from both of you being Scummy to just one of you. Anyway, it shows that you did the same Scummy thing she did. I'm also wondering this! Especially since the choice of Buuoocky is so serial-killer-y. Didn't you read what you said when you were wearing that suit and wielding that fish? You said specifically that the bananaman outfit had no bearing whatsoever on alignment. You said it yourself! Well, assuming that you're bananaman. No reason to think that...unless somebody saw something.
  22. But you did? You were leaning towards bananaman as someone who has been in a lot of clubs. Who was that, exactly? My notifications are off and I missed some earlier posts. I had been waiting to hear from Miranda and only now realized she posted earlier. But without immediately looking back, who said they were going to vote for Byycky? You say "everyone who is now saying?" Is that what Autumn said? Because I answered "Kendall." In your example, Karen would have to be clarvoyant to know that the day would end with Buucky not placing her vote. Knitting...pattern...I get it! Clever, Miranda! However, only a Knitter could get a pattern from one night of activity. It takes the rest of us at least two nights to discern any patterns in behavior. Three would be best for looking for patterns, but there's only seven of us and I doubt we'll have three nights to look at. So, according to Miranda, Kendall is Scum. Karen whoever this person who has previously been in a lot of clubs is Scum and probably specifically bananaman, and so is everyone who thinks the Scum killed Baeicky and anyone who suggests there might be a thirdy party. I think it would be very interesting if there were a third-party killer. Very. Interesting. Kyle!! Stop playing your banjo already. He's so annoying. And he's terrible at banjo. And just about everything else.
  23. Which is what she told me she would do when I contacted her in private to ask who she would target. I got no indication that I was visited. For a "named Townie" role like visitor, I doubt the visited would be told. My name is Karen, thank you. Ooh, good question, Robert. I was going to vote for Kendall, based on the weird behavior of blabbing her non-role in her first post. I agreed with Miranda's reasoning that Kendall was laying the ground work to be caught by a Watcher or Tracker. I was nervous that she said she'd be targeting me! But as far as I know, if she's telling the truth, she just watched me strip naked and tweak my nipples in the mirror like I do every night before bed. Is it interesting, Robert? Because your question and her point are actually kind of pingy. I'm never comfortable when a Book Club Member gives a definitive explanation for the actions of The Knitting Circle. While I was a Miranda fan yesterday, I'm not so much today. 1. Like they drew names from a Pick-a-brick cup? 2. Like a decoy? Like we were like "We're Knitters and forgot to vote. Ooops! Well, let's kill Beaecky because she also didn't vote and that will put the eyes off of us! Let's slap her with a frozen fish!" 3. Information is not typically passed to an info-related role if they are killed in the night because they can't do anything with it and it reduces the temptation to pass on what they've learned from the dead. With all due respect, I don't think we have players that would do that anymore. I also admit I may have done it once or twice early on... This point has nothing to do with the Scum's reasoning. It's just speculation about Biicky having a role. It doesn't belong in your list. Here's option 4: Serial killer. Why lean, Miranda? Why not be specific? Hinting towards an accusation without making it is what the do in the Scummy Club. Also, what are your thoughts on Kendall today? Are you going to vote for her again? Or not enough momentum for the Scum to jump on that bandwagon?
  24. I think it's a reasonable thing to ask since she blurted out her role with her first post on Day One.
