    Noooo! I still need The Lonely Mountain and The Battle of Five Armies to complete my collection! I was waiting until next month. They're not likely to come back at all, are they?

    There's nothing particularly wrong with it, but in the scheme of the whole village it was a little disappointing to get a collection of smaller builds rather than a larger building when the village already has a lot of small builds scattered around.

    Interesting that the bases for the mini builds are counted as multiples of the same piece - I wonder what that means in terms of gameplay and importing the builds? Do you download and save the build to the chip through the game or do they come preloaded with the instructions etc for that build and file for the game and are just counted as x2 for the part list? I would have thought the latter but now I'm not so sure. Does this mean it's more likely to be able to build your own design (like in the original reveal video with the batmobile) and import it into the game?

    The Lone Ranger and Tonto were both characters in Disney's Infinity so that probably rules them out

    Can Snake be in the Kwik E Mart though? Or does he have to be a CMF first so that they're not using a new piece in a D2C set?

    Hans Moleman is an odd choice with so many characters still missing, but I'll just be pleased to get my hands on a second series! Bartman is a must for me, as well as Comic Book Guy. I hope Lisa and Maggie have something special about them and not just different eye printing or something.

    I loved the 2013 seasonal sets and these look even better - I'm a sucker for vignettes! I hope they do a few more as well, like the summer/spring/autumn ones that were released. The detail looks fantastic, I can't wait to grab them :)

    I find the idea of another toy shop strange too, not only because we have the old one but because they just released a toy shop set as part of the creator theme.

    I was at a lego store last week and they mentioned getting new Lego Movie sets in on the 15th - he specifically said the Super Angry Kitty one and Bad Cops car (he'd never seen or heard of DDC when I showed him). Anyone else heard about this? I'll be heading there tomorrow to check it out, so fingers crossed :) DDC is a must have for me! EDIT: I'm in the UK and went to the Shepard's Bush store in London

    Not necessarily - from the start we've always gotten the main building (Santa's workshop seems a similar size to the post office and bakery) and in both of those sets we also got a mini build (gazebo/skate rink) and a vehicle, which could quite easily counter the reindeer and sleigh (you could even say that is the vehicle!) and keep it to the cheaper price point, but I am a little worried that TLG has gotten used to the $100+ winter sets. Only time will tell! I am a little disappointed that the only change in Santa is the colour of his sack - this will be my third Santa, so some small changes would have been nice to make him an exclusive fig, but that's just nitpicking. I think this set looks fantastic and I'm sure the interior is even better! I can't wait to add this to my village and give all my cmf elves somewhere to live :-)

    Looks like the same build to me, the image has just been enlarged - the tooth piece is bigger than the torso, that's not built bigger (with more pieces) it's just bigger.

    Judging by the Mirkwood spiders in the background that look pretty identical to the ones in the set, I'd say this is the Smaug we're getting - or very close to it, otherwise why go to the trouble of including details such as the ball joint? And I agree that the size on the poster looks pretty decent, but again look at the spiders and the figs around them - they are much bigger than they are in the actual set. I hope I'm proven wrong, but Smaug could be smaller than he is shown here.

    I'm not so sure about it not selling as well as other D2C's - possibly not as well within the Lego community, but I think the wider community may be a bigger consumer of this set than we're anticipating. I've never seen a set reveal spread so far so quick among non-FOLs, with many commenting that they need to get this set.

    As far as future sets go, top of my list is Bart's Treehouse to go in the backyard, then at least the house will feel complete. While the whole of Springfield would be incredible, I'd be content with the treehouse and possibly one or two smaller sets to round it off. Stampy, anyone?

    A couple have cropped up on eBay - ridiculously over priced of course.

    The interior will decide this for me, but right now I'm pretty impressed! The little nods to different episodes that we can see on the front lawn leads me to think that the interior will be full of detail - and then I will be sold. The minifigures don't grab me, particularly the lazy eyes, but I'll wait and see what the cmf's look like, if they have open eyes or seem a better fit overall it's easy enough to swap them out.

    What about Sauron/Necromancer as he appeared in DoS, rather than the gorilla necromancer we got in the set. An instantly recognisable character who we have little chance of getting in a (hobbit) set as Dol Guldur has already been covered.
