  1. That Aayla Secura is horrible. At least they made the lekku into a separate headpiece which is nice. -Omi
  2. Bask in its awesomeness. -Omi
  3. Ultimate Guide For Bionicle Prototypes/Misprints - Known prototypes and misprints to have slipped into the hands of the public Prototype Identification - Identifying the prototypes and misprints that Black Six has There is a topic floating in the Sets forum that has and discusses prototype and concept pics but since I cannot use the search feature I am unable to locate it. Brickshelf Gallery of Prototypes Another Bshelf Gallery Always next year! -Omi
  4. Bfa you do realize I wasn't the only person who saw these right? You can ask Letagi, B6, Roa, and anyone who was present during the Bionicle presentation at BrickFest. B6 was the only one with the camera and I even said that he was an idiot for not taking a pic but he did it out of respect for Bink. I would have done the same. We even discussed this stuff in the blogs and the Bfest news article. This is why you guys should attend these events. You get to see things no one else does. And even get goodies that people would dream to have. Who knows maybe Front will show them if they made more than one copy. Also to prove my case: Brickfest 2009 news article -Omi
  5. Nope -Omi
  6. Shoulda seen the Chrome Toa Matau Metru too. -Omi
  7. Yeah definitely not what I was talking about. What I saw was concepts of all Toa Inika and they were way better than that. -Omi
  8. We're talking about the artwork right? :P -Omi
  9. There are no pics online. They were shown in person by Bink at BrickFest 2009. -Omi
  10. Badaft? -Omi
  11. You wouldn't be saying that if you ever saw the conceptual designs of the Inika. They were the most badass looking Toa I have ever seen, and instead of working along the lines of those designs, they go with designs we have now. -Omi
  12. I believe Grevious is referring to something more along the lines of a superhero, like Superman. You know, super powers and capes. Hero Factory is nothing like that. -Omi
  13. Someone doesn't read posts. :P It is usually held in the first or second weekend of February. -Omi
  14. Or maybe it is right. The people building it might be bigger than you're average being. :P -Omi
  15. Usually in February, like the first or second weekend. -Omi
  16. Isn't that what Lego is? -Omi
  17. As far as I know, they aren't currently be sold either by them or a third party vendor. And they are very hard to come by. -Omi
  18. That is the point of collectibles. They are never meant to be easy to collect. Only one to buy a complete fig is if someone already has one. And considering that these are collectibles, I doubt they will be any cheap to buy, like buying a cool SW fig. If anything, buy a case of the boxes when they are released if you can. That would be the cheapest way plus you would have them all. -Omi
  19. Actually that is a good move. It allows people to keep buying more until they get the complete figs they want. It is a common marketing ploy, and Lego gets money out of it. -Omi
  20. I'm pretty sure that Lego aims to have the highest quality possible, so not sure where you get the lowest quality from. That is because you aren't looking hard enough. Their impulse sets feature new molds/pieces as well. -Omi
  21. Impulse sets are meant for buyers to "buy on impulse". If nothing intrigues the buyer, then the impulse is not there and the set is left on the shelf and remains there until clearance. Usually what sparks this impulse is a new piece/mold and piece in a new color. Also you didn't specify, and I quote: Only time you mentioned impulse sets, it had no relevance to the discussion of new pieces/molds. -Omi
  22. Something we can agree on. :P -Omi
  23. Ok lets put it this way. If Lego did not progress with the franchise and make new molds/pieces, we would still have sets like this. We would be stuck with 3 colors and a total of 10 different pieces. Making new molds and pieces allows Lego to expand on the horizon and create so many possibilities. -Omi
  24. This does not make any sense whatsoever. If anything, a designer's way of saying "I give up" is the Voyatoran, considering they all reused parts including masks and nothing new came from them. -Omi
  25. That's my sigfig. Don't worry about the blue cape if you don't have it, considering it is custom. Or I could just bring it to Brickfair. I'll be around the Steampunk table (I am Steampunk coordinator) or Bionicle table. -Omi
