  1. No, but royalties are still paid nonetheless, as they portrayed the character. That is if sets were based on the movie. -Omi
  2. Neither because the actress was portrayed in a film not owned by Marvel, but Columbia Pictures. Mary Jane would have to be based on her cartoon or comic appearance. As would Gwen Stacey, since the Amazing Spider Man movie is also owned by Columbia Pictures. -Omi
  3. 1. I am aware of that, but the fig would be based on Ultimate Fury, and not Sam Jackson's portrayal. The man gets enough royalties as it is. 2. True. Any kid that has watched the old Spiderman cartoons, reads the comics, and also has played any of the Marvel games. -Omi
  4. errrrrrrrr 1. Sam Jackson Nick Fury wouldn't be used because the likeness of the character is strictly with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 2. It's not be proven that the sets are based on the show.... -Omi
  5. That cake is awesome, although I am curious as to why it has Umbrella on it. :P And thanks. Been busy and stressed past couple weeks so I didn't see this. :/ -Omi
  6. Always a pleasure to meet a fellow citizen of Mass, especially a Bostonite. -Omi
  7. Old. New. Doesn't matter, they'll crack. -Omi
  8. Yeah they started to permanantly attach the figs on the magnets for like a year. -Omi
  9. Well they didn't. But they did. -Omi
  10. Value doesn't go up when the value drops substantially. This fig used to be worth over a $100 bucks, and Lego made more after that, dropping the value to $35. That's bad. -Omi
  11. It will take a long time for the fig to become rare because so many were made in circulation for the promotions (and the Chrome Vaders are worth just as much). And if you replicated it, the copy surely won't be worth as much, and hopefully that isn't your intentions. But people have replicated it. It is simple to get a torso printed, but the headgear you will have to buy separate online or paint it white.
  12. Stikfas made a lyre for their Angel/Fairy figure. This is what it looks like. It's not Lego, but it is compatible. -Omi
  13. I've never had those problems with other brands. -Omi
  14. Printing is expensive, and with the time and money put into trying to replicate white Boba Fett, you can just buy him at a fairly cheap price on Bricklink. -Omi
  15. To answer your question, yes Lego is going to let this happen because they already do that with MegaBloks, Knex, and Cobi. Welcome to the internet BTW. -Omi
  16. Either lightly cut (if you can) or sand it down. Or just sharpie over it, since you're only covering so little, so paint isn't needed. -Omi
  17. Exacto knife or nail clippers will take it right off. As with everything that gets cut, yes it will look like something was cut there. Sand it down with a nail file smoothly, and any marks you can just black sharpie over them to match the beard. -Omi
  18. In the mean time, BrickForge does have a Savage Mask which is a very suitable option. -Omi
  19. As Deadpool would put it, he is a fig in a set. -Omi
  20. That helmet piece in general is final. They are using it, and they already made final images with it. -Omi
  21. Well looking at the Lego standpoint, they always make sets without all the right characters, but only a slew. Take the POTC sets. How many characters were missing from their scene-based sets? -Omi
  22. Well then it must be difficult shopping in stores or in a catalog since you see all those sets without having them in hand. :P -Omi
  23. I like how you guys are complaining about the Avenger's figures not being complete. Obviously they are the same prototypes from Comic-con that Marvel had on hand, and Lego probably was not able to get them the finished figures in time when pics were taken for the site. Also love the Wolverine, Magneto and Deadpool figs. And that green bowler Riddler fig. And those Toyfair exclusive Cap and Iron Man figs look custom. The decals on Iron Man are badly designed. And why that polybag? -Omi
  24. There is still the caution of using it, which you won't have with brasso. And how fast is fast? You can wipe away print within 10 seconds of rubbing with brasso. -Omi
  25. :/ Brasso doesn't eat/melt the plastic. -Omi
