The Legend of Zelda Project finally reaches 10,000 supporters

Who cares what Cuusoo people says or thinks. They aren't Lego. Final decision is made by Lego if it gets that far. -Omi -

lol the negative feedback. This is the kind of thing that Lego looks for in a set. Caters to both AFOLs and kids, it is an affordable, buildable set that requires no special molds or printing of such, and who is to say Google would say no? :P I'm sure this will pass review. -Omi -

Well that's why they make their special molds and glued magnets in China and Mexico. Cuz it's wicked cheap. Either way Lego isn't looking at their resources right, with exisiting parts and their international facilities. -Omi -

That fig was based on the classic Link, who really didn't show the Hylian ears. But if you want the ears, there is the elf hair piece too. The bonding is seamless. You have to boil the part to release them. True, but it does remove the new mold costs, which are more expensive. Even printing is pricey too but Lego didn't hold out on that for the Minecraft set and the Hayabusa set. -Omi -

It's just industrial strength solvent. Super glue really. :P They have it in stock and use it plentiful, and not just with the headgear elements I showed. They use it on the magnet sets too. :P -Omi -

There is actually. This and this. Lego is no stranger to using solvent when bonding parts together, as they have done it before. And this is the result. -Omi -

They obviously didn't with the last review. -Omi -

What really bothers me is that Lego doesn't consider what they have first to use and instead just see "oh this needs new pieces". They don't think outside the box and realize they have a lot of the new molds made already. Plus they don't have to make the set exactly what the project entails. The Minecraft set looks nothing at all like the project that was uploaded. -Omi -

Then the trademark would be after Extremis, not the whole name. -Omi -

No but it can be Extremis Savin since that is what the first word looks like, plus the name has a trademark so it isn't just some nobody pilot. -Omi -

They don't anymore. They haven't done that since the 80s. They never sold well. The issue at hand is licensed sets made by Lego. It has nothing to do with their history of Lego games, which Nintendo has been doing for years (even with exclusives). -Omi -

Savin is Coldblood. Taggert is Firepower. -Omi -

Or maybe a reversible head for it, with one side Pepper and the other side Stark. Would be interesting. -Omi -

Well it's definitely not Pepper falling down in the black shirt with the Arc Reactor showing through. Could be a combo design of the two suits as well. And Lego could technically make the Air Force One. They just couldn't identify it as such and make it a generic plane. -Omi -

I think the reason why Lego gave us War Machine and not the Iron Patriot variant is because they are probably making up for Iron Man 1 & 2. Makes sense for the added suitcase. The Avenger sets were just like that with inspiration from their movies too (with Thor's hair resembling his style in Thor, Cap being on the bike like he was in First Avenger, and Loki having his staff modeled after his own from the comics and the Thor movie and not Avengers). I'm sure we'll get an Iron Patriot eventually. -Omi -

The helicopter pilot says Extremis.... something on the box. I can make out Extremis. The second word hard to read. And given the effect on his head, with it being the same effect for Killian, seems to be someone else under the extremis virus too. -Omi -

Yeah that is what it looks like. Lego making a nod to the previous Iron Man movie for fans probably. -Omi -

I'd prefer the comics. Or the cartoons. Disney has the rights to the cartoons too. -Omi -

A cloud of smoke and a severed robot head is exactly what I would want them to make. Since that was the movie incarnations of Galactus and a Sentinal. -Omi -
Colossus from X-men. My own interpretation using my particular skillset - Improvising and brassoing. Modified the torso to resemble the uniform Colossus wears and also modded the head. I'm eventually going to replace the grey with chrome. Enjoy! -Omi

My next entry in the theme that Lego is being lackluster with. Gambit as he appears in the X-Men animated series. *Torso printed by poppunkmunky *Coat is MMCB Enjoy! Also check out some more X-Men here. -Omi

It's not. It is printed by Christo for the Admiral Thrawn figure he sells. -Omi -
Personally I would not want to see a return of Bionicle. The storyline itself is already convoluted that I can't even fathom how much more could be done let alone a return. Let the spirit live on through similar themes. Just like they do with other themes. -Omi
