Overreaction much? Responding to news about next year's sets is part of the natural flow of the discussion, surely. If there was another more appropriate thread then maybe.

£65 for the Y-Wing is a nice enough price. Battle on Scarif for £55 is crazy in comparison though.

Do we have any ideas whatsoever about the May 4th promo minifigure?

Have they stopped printing legs or something? Virtually none of this year's new figures have leg printing. Looks a bit odd with the super-detailed torsos and heads. Sets look great otherwise.

I'm certain we'll get Luke at some point, but his role in the film seems to be such a heavily guarded secret that I bet Lego designers haven't seen him yet. I doubt he'll be in the January wave, as they'd have to start producing the figures before the film is released. Earliest we'll see him is a summer release set- if he has a big enough part in TFA to warrant a minifigure.

Shame the Rebel battle pack uses those awful oversized Hoth helmets. The B-Wing type ship with Leia looks really nicely designed, though.

I don't think they're in opposition- the one source just didn't see any TFA sets, that doesn't mean there won't be any. Episode 7 will be one of the biggest films in history, Lego is definitely going to be releasing sets based on it in January. Given the near-hysterical levels of secrecy surrounding the film it's not surprising information is scarce!

Looks promising, just hope the price point matches.

Yes, if the announcement is a Lego set reveal people will be angry. Sounds like exciting news anyway, 11pm reveal supposedly.

And this weekend there are a couple of Lego conventions that have seen set reveals in previous years. I'd be very surprised if we see no new sets in the next 10 days.

The Avenjet has a great minifigure lineup from the sound of it, just gotta wait to see how the Jet itself is. Hope it actually has an interior like the Milano. If you're patient, you can get £70 sets for £40 in the UK, so I'll probably end up getting it anyway.

But they said four fractions of an octagon, which is only half... it's a confusing analogy, I'm not entirely sure what he means.

Guesses on UK prices- -Submarine £35 -Avenjet £60 (hopefully, as it's $70) -CW truck set £20 -CW black panther set £35 -CW big set £50 I'm liking that spread.

Funnily enough, I got this set yesterday and noticed he is on it, behind Gamora in the Milano.

Maybe the Doctor is in Matt Smith's costume, because he's just regenerated? That sounds more like an 11 outfit than a Capaldi one.

Glad Widow is in the cheapest set, that's one less reason to get this year's Quinjet. Plus Falcon and Crossbones- these $20 sets are fantastic, aren't they? The number of jet related sets is strange, but i see a higher chance of getting a good model with then, when compared to the playsets Lego have put out for Marvel superheroes. The standard 'two towers with a walkway and random contraptions between them' assembly that we got for the Helicarrier Breakout, the Hulk Lab Smash, the Knowhere Escape Mission and this year's Hydra Fortress are hardly fantastic display models, and the Sandman set was just terrible. The best playsets are based on distinct locations like the Daily Bugle, Avengers Tower, or Malibu Mansion. Civil War probably doesn't have anything like that. Whereas both Quinjets and the Milano are great models.

Where does the Panther Jet rumour come from? I don't see any mention of one in the comics from a quick Google.

What is it with Spider-vehicles though? It's not just Lego that do it.

To try and stay on good terms with Lego for the future. Lego has a good relationship with fan sites. There's no point damaging that just for some images that you can find elsewhere anyway.

You don't need to 'use' Reddit to view its content. It's a website like Eurobricks, so you don't need an account unless you want to comment. It's URLs work like this- reddit.com/r/lego (just a random example...)

Has there been any discussion of a new Hulk polybag here? It's been mentioned in the Brickset forum.
