  1. I like the bold color patches here and the snow speeder look is very cool. The front edge of the wing is well handled but it's a bit blocky overall. You might want to think about posing in a place that will minimise the shadow and reflection that you see in these shots, or using a photo editor
  2. That's really nice color blocking on the truck and a lovely feature. Great build.
  3. Very striking exterior photography on this one, great angle. Very 2001
  4. Very nice rock work of the type I just hate building and a tidy speeder bike too
  5. The posing of hombre and the pew pew laser bolts are superb. Ninja reindeer is a lovely idea, nicely built and very funny.
  6. This is an excellent build. What a pity it smashed. The clouds and the ship are lovely, especially the rigging and the hull, and I really like the use of the mini doll.
  7. 229 credits to EE please
  8. Thanks Guys. more views
  9. Location: A04 Mynderis Tags: Exploration, Land vehicle, Space vehicle As I continued my exploration of Mynderis, followed by my obligatory zap-em up drone, I saw something so extraordinary I got out of my obligatory rover and stared: The creatures were feeding on organic matter! I approached to get a closer look, but I was chased away by a big fellow Scanning his data into my rover's holoputer, I identified him as a Zenebas Hammer Rock. A valuable ally, if I could convince it of our cause. [Quite a challenge making this to scale - no chance of replicating the bicep or wrist joints and the head was tough. He can beat his chest.]
  10. In my view there are not enough active builders to fill 3 corporations. I would far prefer just to give people more freedom to build as they like without the color restriction.
  11. Great build here. Beautiful SNOT.
  12. This is so much fun! Wonderful story and I really like the double bubble craft. And the Queen soundtrack!
  13. Location - A04 Mynderis Tags: Exploration, spaceship, land vehicle Finally I have found an organoid that I have bonded with. He is fierce in combat and looks after me well. We are now leading an expeditionary force to Mynderis, accompanied by a Kawashita landslug and a raven [the 2 background vehicles are only there for the points but I am quite pleased with the shield liger. It has more points of articulation than the D-style shield liger that I was copying, and is accurate in its internal structure with a big range of motion for the neck. Quite robust too, apart form the front shoulder joints]
  14. That Kawashita ship has lovely details, it is a very convincing wreck. The spider is a great touch too.
  15. Good to see you back. Orenji. I just noticed how sweet your base is, great way to use those aquazone pieces. Lots of nice details here, my favourite is the red screen. I hope Makoto is not passing into the afterlife, what a film that was!
  16. 63 credits to EE please
  17. Location: C10 Marden Tags: Exploration, Spaceship, building I had the marvellous idea of bringing one of my new friends to feed on Mantoid invaders. It took a while to convince her that the tasty bit of the planet is green and black! (My goodness this camera sucks!)
  18. The bakahomepage map site is completely awesome and I love it, it's beautifully done and there is nothing major I would change about it. Just wanted to express my thanks and appreciation for building and maintaining it. It adds a lot to the game.
  19. Oh, super exciting! It seems I have returned from deep space at exactly the right time. It would be good to know what you want to achieve with v2. I suspect it is about better participation? If so, I suggest to pm people who dropped out and ask them why. As for the game mechanics, I do not really have a view but can I suggest that you simulate the game play and outcome before we start so that you can see where the issues will be? For instance imbalance of numbers or numbers of power builders. For me, the idea of GoH in space is perfection and I was so excited by it initially. I lost enthusiasm and dropped out after a little while though. Things that worked for me: Collaborative building stories in space! Things that didn't work for me: The restrictions on colour use I thought the judging was pretty bad. Sorry to be rude because I know it is hard work and lots of thought goes into it, but honestly it turned me away. I thought the scores were only weakly correlated to build quality, and systematically favoured Octan. Just my opinion. As I wrote in the discussion thread, I think the structure of the points or judging system did not incentivise skills development or technique. Too much emphasis on landscapes. I don't want to build landscapes in space, I want to build vehicles or bases. Too much emphasis on the game aspect. It was clear by week 3 that Octan is going to win which is pretty discouraging for the other guilds. I would prefer a chapter challenge structure without a defined end point. Things I thought GoH did very well that I would recommend to copy: Have the guild leaders not involved in building for the team, only the chapter introductions (because of judging conflicts of interest) Have a mix of challenge types eg small ship, mecha, figbarf, crash dio, alien city battle, with size guidelines or limits. This might have happened after I fell in a black hole, I don't know. Actually, it looks like the Olympic games challenge was pretty good. Mix up teams from different guilds to work together on different challenges. Have more style differentiation between the guilds. I would also like to say, I want to see a mix of different aliens with different agendas. I hate it when they are all bad guys. That Google form idea, I dunno, it won't encourage participation. Thank you for listening, over and out
  20. Nice bionicle ball joints ! What are they from?
  21. Location G-10 Tags: exploration I was finding more and more of these biomechanical creatures throughout the system. These ones appeared to be involved in some kind of ritual. Their robotic moves were hypnotic. They must have evolved to survive by ingesting silicon...and each other.
  22. Love those white wheels. Sweet ride. 8880 forever!
  23. Welcome Hanjin! Lovely introductory build. being the 209th Quilones named Henjin in unbroken descent from father to son for two thousand years Ah, they grow up so fast.
  24. I have had just over a year away from EB. This might generate a bit of controversy, I am not looking to criticise anyone and I do not hold myself up as a special builder. I am interested to hear views as this iteration of AG moves into its latter stages. I am surprised that the standard of building and presentation on AG has not really noticeably improved in the last year. In GoH where I was pretty active for a couple of years, it seemed like most people were on a steep learning curve and at an equivalent stage of GoH maturity, everyone had raised their game in both build technique and presentation to the point where it became very hard to shine. A lot of builders joined after about a year who hit the ground running with amazing skills and the existing community responded by raising the average even higher. In my view that does not yet seem to be the case here. I don't see very much in the way of special techniques or innovation, I do see quite a bit of blocky studs-up type building which I am a bit surprised at given the freedom of the subject matter. I know colour is a limitation here. I feel like Bob's skill and enthusiasm is equivalent to Derfel or SoT. Do others who have been in GoH feel this is a fair comment? Maybe I have not looked at a representative sample of builds? I wonder if there is something about the nature of the game or the judging that is holding back skills development and innovation? Is the difference about having fewer of the storylines "on rails" with inspirational scenes from the guild leaders?
