    I love these starter sets and paying £9 for the gator is much better than how much you had to pay for the two bears in the last couple of years. Will be buying all the starter sets just to add to my town line up.

    Might have to get it just for the shark as its not in the new super heroes of city sets by the looks of it.

    Why Lego didn't run pirates alongside LOTR and then castle now is odd but so are a lot of things they do

    One of the problems with the last big city set was the crane, if you wanted a crane Lego make building site sets every few years. The bus was great but I wanted two. The two shops were ok but will they fit the same style as the next ones. Seems like a lego shop would sell really well but do we need another garage along with it?

    ^ A good point well made, I like space and castle but we have seen a lot of them in the normal cmf so if they did do a whole series of them then they might be stretching it a bit thin and even if they find 16 they will still miss out a lot of fans that don't like castle as much. This might be the reason for this too.

    I am starting to feel the same way, the problem with the bigs sets with losts of smaller builds is that you end up with things you don't want. It also means you only find it in the lego shop so you have to pay full price.

    Which has not sold one set yet so lets wait and see but kids love space and castle and other things in normal cmf.

    I don't understand why lego would go down this road, does that mean we will get a space or castle cmf wave? Better kepping the only off series as licensed ones.

    That Bat Mobile is too like the one we got 2012 hope its not the one we will get although for those that miss out it is nice.

I think he even had a pumpkin bomb and flyer, so that will be a must buy for me." From brickset Seems a bit odd to me that some of the junior sets are becoming much have for afol like the batcave with light blue batman.

    Super Heroes also started in 2012 and has done ok unlike dino although looks like they might come back as JW. 2012 was a big year.

    Happy I didn't see this topic before or I would have egg on my face now. I mean I know friends were gold all along how could getting ride of minifigures not work.

    I am surprised they seem to have done well even if the builds in some of the sets were not the best.

    Did anyone see Simpsons: I won't be coming home for Christmas, marge makes a Simpsons ginger bread house with no room over the garage and a kwik-e-mart, still don't think it means anything? In the same episode homer goes past a shop with 90% off Lego Simpsons. Only the family are made in giner bread with pets expect for apu and side show bob but who knows.

    ^ They have done that a number of times even when they could have reused the part, like the policeman's hat that was not reused which seemed very odd.

    We know a lot about what we are getting this year so it doesn't look good, not sure it will take a break and come back so that could be it.
