"Fellow heroes in the west hall, this is one situation where I think we should aim carefully. I believe it would be best for everyone to aim their attacks at the elite guard, while the lucky ones remain near the back of the battle order in the event the elite guard has fallen quickly. Isabella, should you follow Nerwen's advice and follow Sarick in the aid of the heroes in the throne room? We will follow shortly after we complete our duties here." With words out of the way, Xander attacks Heavy Elite Guard C from the front row.

OOC: Just curious, what was my other roll (the first being hit I assume)? Also, for the purposes of story, if we K.O. Emeraldo he'll still be "alive", right? Xander was slightly irritated at himself for not finishing off the archer; putting that distraction aside, he attacks Imperial Guard A from the front row.

"Isabella, I am already attacking the elite archer. Perhaps you could target one of the imperial guards, or ask Skrall what the best option is?"

Xander was engrossed in the battle; it seemed nothing else around him could break his concentration, this time focusing on Elite Archer C with an attack from the front row.

That's borderline stalkerish. Any new players yet? We need some fresh meat faces in the hall.

OOC: Is there a reason the elite archer is still encouraged? Xander aims an attack with his club from the front row on Imperial Guard B, hoping it would deal sufficient damage to knock him out or allow the poison to take its toll.

Xander noticed a pink slip of paper nestled in the back pocket of his satchel. He did not know how it got there, but he read its contents and decided to oblige, writing his name on the piece of paper and sending it back via Z-mail.

Xander quietly thanked Denerii for stunning the enemy, knowing he would have likely been knocked out had she not done so. Noticing the imperial guards in a defensive stance, Xander uses this opportunity to throw a skeleton decoy into the hallway from the back row.

OOC: Oops, forgot about Emeraldo, gotta shift targets now. Seeing three of the stronger enemies untargeted, Xander switches his attack to Elite Archer C from the back row.

OOC: Shouldn't Denerii not have taken any damage from the free hit since she was in the sky? So she should have 10hp right? "Denerii, I think it would be best for you to target either the elite archer or elite guard that has not been targeted yet, depending on who Skrall targets. I will attack Imperial Guard A from the back row so I can hopefully withstand a free hit."

OOC: By invulnerable do you mean not being able to be attacked? Can she still take a free hit and it just "miss"? Xander heard a familiar voice, one that he hadn't heard in quite some time. He smiled to himself, glad to know Arthur was still his amicable self even through his tumultous past. Turning to Nerwen, he accepted the potion from her with a hearty 'thank you'. There was still a fight that needed finishing, however; he was ready to attack Elite Archer C from the front row.

OOC: All the enemies in the west hall are stunned this round, right? So we can do anything without getting attacked/free hits? Xander ponders his next move, wondering if he should attack again or use the skeleton decoy in his possession.

Xander looks around him, seeing many of his fellow heroes hurt from wounds; if there was ever a time for a miracle, it was now. Clearing his mind, he turned to Elite Guard C, attacking from the front row and hopefully poisoning him.

Xander frowned in frustration for missing his target. This time he focused his attention on Elite Archer C and readied an attack from the front row.

"Sarick, Isabella's bomb will take care of Elite Archer A; perhaps you could aim your spell towards B?"

Xander turns his attention to Elite Archer C, attacking with his club from the front row.

My horse can roam the hallways of the palace right? Too bad I haven't had to move much yet (and it looks like I won't for the foreseeable future).

OOC: Hey QM's have you been taking off poison damage these past few rounds on the imperial guards? It doesn't seem like it from my calculations, though my calculations could be wrong. Xander smiles sheepishly at Denerii before tacitly thanking Nerwen. He hoped she would be successful this coming round, for he knew he was stepping into danger by attacking elite archer B from the front row with his poisoned club.

Quest #30 just got real.

OOC: Does the poison take effect at the end of this round, or not until the next? If it's the former then shouldn't all the imperial guards have one less HP? Xander breathed heavily; he had dealt damage to all the guards around him, but this time he focused his attack on Imperial Guard A from the front row.

Xander had taken a hit, but he remained focus with the task at hand. Having poisoned one of the guards, he shifted his attention to Imperial Guard A with an attack from the front row.

Xander witnesses the guards rush into the corridor, focusing on Imperial Guard B and attacking from the front row with his club.

Whoops, thought we were already in the same room. Xander hears the words of the ogre, changing his stance to a defensive position and standing his ground.

I should have added a [/Desmond]. Great show though, I still miss it; now I need to work in a "We have to go back!" somewhere....

Xander exhaled deeply; this would be a long and arduous battle. Readying his club, he aimed an attack at Imperial Guard A from the front row. "Should we take care of this group of enemies first, Skrall?" Xander shouted as he focused on the enemy.
