These are all great sets, but Black Falcon's Fortress wins for me. It's such a lovely little castle.

MOC Civil War Battle of Spotsylvania
Sir Dillon replied to Mrcool1804's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Double posting like this is not allowed. I'm locking this topic, so anyone who wants to comment on the creation please go to the original thread: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=42208 -
Sure, it's fine to link to shops in a case like this. However it would be frowned upon if you were to start a topic simply for the purpose of advertising a certain store.

Done! Thanks once again for the pictures Grogall!

The skull floating above Penny's head must be some kind of omen, but I'm not sure whether it means she is dangerous or is in danger. I'm leaning towards the former, but we should watch out for her either way. The skull also said "feed her virgin blood". Is anyone here a virgin?

Do you mean on the sword in the stone model? I think that's just a regular cheese slope and a 1 x 2 slope.

Thanks for the nice pictures once again Grogall! The Dragon Knight's armour in the castle looks very neat. I hope the wall panels in the final set are printed and not stickers.

You boys moderate these forums too much...
Sir Dillon replied to Follows Closely's topic in Forum Information and Help
It was really tempting to respond with just "yes" and lock the topic. I'm sorry you don't like the decision made, but the rules are there for a reason. You might not feel it would be such a bad thing if the B/S/T/F forum was flooded with people showing off their most recent purchases, but that's not what the forum is for. We have a topic set aside for those posts. -
You wouldn't need to take any new photos, but you would need to reupload them to Brickshelf and relink them in your post, so it's fine if you prefer to leave them as links. I've edited your post to include a thumbnail image, so people can get a bit of a preview of the creation.

Thanks Grogall! It's good to see some clear pictures of the calender. Yes, it's supposed to be.

Thanks to member Grogall for bringing us new high-resolution images of the upcoming Kingdoms and City advent calenders: Click each image to see the 2400+ pixel full-size. Be sure to check out images of each calender's full contents in the Historic Themes Forum and the Town Forum.

It depends on where you are located, but considering they are already showing up in select places I believe you'll have some kind of access to them before August.

Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Chat
Sir Dillon replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I am very sorry to die, but I guess I deserved it this time. Sorry Bob! Thanks Shadows, this was fun while it lasted. -
Hello Capt.JohnPaul, your photos are all too big, so I've changed them to links. Please don't embed images larger than 800 x 600. You can find some tutorials on how to resize images [here].

That one is very cool! Great tattoo idea.

Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Day 2
Sir Dillon replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Each day lasts 24 hours. I'm guessing if everyone sent in their actions before then the day would end early though. -
Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Day 2
Sir Dillon replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
But but Grand Vizier! You keep saying that those who do not participate will have amusing deaths, but they weren't very amusing at all. There weren't as many deaths as I was expecting, but I'm still surprised we weren't able to kill any of the Nizam. We aren't very good at this. -
Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Chat
Sir Dillon replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Did iamded seriously try to use all three actions on the same person? -
Both those links have been posted here before, though they do tend to get lost quickly in all the posts. I just updated the first post earlier with the new pictures, and the link to Nicholai's gallery is at the very bottom of the post. I like this new line, but your opinion is well stated. I don't understand what people are looking for when they say they want sets more like the "classics", but find the Kingdoms sets boring. These are the closest in style we've had to the older sets in a long time.

Do you have a link?
-
If it's an event advertisement, it belongs in the Events forum. I'll move it there. Once you have pictures of the complete creation you can post them in the Historic Themes forum if you'd like to.

Your dancing is so awful that we will fear seeing it in our sleep? How do you make a living at this? -
