Want to buy Technic pneumatic air tank
Sir Dillon replied to 5150 Lego's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I know this may be a dumb question, but why exactly are these pieces so saught after and expensive? -
Very nice. Good mecha have always awed me, some because I can't build them myself. |-/ Also, why do you want to make a new topic, couldn't you just edit your post?

Neat creation. I like the overall shape of it, and though I don't really like like the colors, I think they're well cordinated. Also, I think the first gun looks better, the other looks more like a light to me. Keep up the good work. :-)

Review: 7881 Batman - Batmobile: Two Face's Escape
Sir Dillon replied to Zarkan's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nope. The all black suited Batman is exclusive to this set. The other three all have the black & grey suit. I WISH LEGO would have included the blue & grey fig. It was really the nicest of the bunch IMO. Isn't he going to be in the Batcave set? Great review, BTW. *y* -
Nice. Though you didn't change much, I think the back looks a lot cleaner with out all that extra stuff on it.

Happy Birthday! *sweet*

Great creation Apophis! I really like all the detail you've put in it, and yet stay true with the pirate theme. You also did a good job with the mottling, I know it can be very hard to do well sometimes. :-)

Dillon to VM! I remember the Cloud City Buisness, and I also remember that you don't have any yub-yub burgers from that, because after you supposedly delivered your supply of yub-yub burgers to Jabba, you were attacked by rebels, so you shouldn't have any burgers, unless you were lying... Dillon out.

"Joe Vig's New Job" or "Leaving on a Jet Plane"
Sir Dillon replied to Athos's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I read the whole thread and I have no idea where that came from >_> I think it's because they're talking about how long it takes to get through the security, and if a girl is behind them, the security person might look at the girl and let them pass. (As our friend Joe is doing) Or at least that what I thought they were talking about. :-/ -
Dillon to VM VM, I do not have any troops on hand to send to you, but I am consalting GM *yoda* on what to do, men will probably be sent to you shortly. Also, how could the rebels steal the yub-yub burgers? I thought you had already delivered them to Jabba. Dillon out!

Dillon to GM *yoda* Sir, it seems the pilot VM has crashed, and is asking for assistance. Do you think he is worth sending help to? Also, I am sending you the blueprints for our infrastructure, they should arrive shortly. Dillon out!

Thanks for the replies! :-) Well, I googled Cyclon Raider, and I think that could very well be where Forcemaster got his reference from, but since I had never heard of it untill now, I think it would be a good idea to still give him credit. Thanks a lot! I like this one more then the others too. Yep, I put landing gear on it, but never really took any good pictures of it :-$ You can see it a little in this picture. Also, you can see it some on the two pictures of the underside of the ship; the picture is with the landing gear out. The second is with it folded up. Thanks, this is my first time greebling, so I was also pretty pleased with the way it worked out. Well, black is another color, but I know what you mean.... Thanks again for the reply, I appreciate it! :-) BTW, did an Admin edit my post and put the picture in? If so, thanks. :-)

I too voted for the second option. I don't think that SNOT is necessary to make a good creation, but it definitely can help for certain MOCs.

Hello all, before I get started, I'd like to point out that this ship is heavily inspired by Forcemaster's V-wing/Raptor. So a bunch of credit goes to him. Anyways. This is now my third 'Space' creation posted online ever, and I used a few techniques that are new to me (SNOT, greebling, etc.) some I think turned out ok, some I'm not so sure... Gallery Not much of a backstory on it, but I named it Osprey because I wanted to name it after a bird of prey, and in my bird guide book, the Osprey was described as a 'raptor', Forcemaster's ship being named raptor, I thought it fitting to name it such. Like I said, this is my third space creation, so if you have any comments, criticism, or advice, please don't hesitate to share. :) Thanks, -Dillon BTW, though this may seem like a April Fool's Joke, it really is my creation! ;-)

Dillon to GM *yoda* It seems that the pilot 'VM' has vanished, there is no sign of him anywhere. I fear he has been shot down by some rebel scum. Awaiting your orders. Dillon out!

I just recieved a Sith Infiltrator that I bought off Ebay earlier this week. It's a set I'd wanted ever since it came out, but had never bought untill now. *sweet*

Favorite Adventure Subtheme
Sir Dillon replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I voted for the Jungle theme, which I loved when it first came out. Now that I look back at some of the sets, I think the Orient might be better value, but behind my castle and western sets, the jungle sets were my favorite. Then when the Dino sets came out, and I lost intrest in Adventures. *sad* When the Oreint sets came out, I bought the Scorpion palace, and back came my love for the sets. Now, I hope TLC will come out with more Adventures sets. *wub* -
Very nice creations, Brickster. I really like the look of the Shady Inn, though not the place i'd prefer to spend the night at. X-O The photo work is also very good! *y*

Pictorial Review on 7250 Clone Scout Walker
Sir Dillon replied to valentin's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the review. :-) I just got this set, and really like it, the only thing I don't really like is the way the legs move, If there was some sort of swivel piece on it, like in the AT-ST, I think it would make it better. -
Review: 7781 Batman - The Batmobile: Two Face's Escape
Sir Dillon replied to The Middleman's topic in LEGO Licensed
Very nice review. I don't think I'll be getting any of the Batman sets, but if I do, it'll probably be this one. -
Gee, that's an quite a 'vignette' you've made. ;-) I really like your entry. I think it might look more like the actual battle if you had made it a little smaller, and pushed the figs closer together, to give a more crowded look, but if you did that, you wouldn't have been able to add some of the detail you did, so I peronally like it more the way you did it... I'm not sure if I'm making any sense or not. *wacko* Anyways, good luke in the contest. :-)

Yeah, it does. Someone pointed out earlier how much the airplanes look alike.
