Honestly from all my thinking, i would suggest a minifig Titainive IV would be a good way to go.people have been wanting that for a while.and i really feel they could do a great job on it *y*

Well, in this topic, the ambassordors asked if we would help choose a 2009 special fan chosen model to mark 10 years of star wars lego it must be around the $150 US/EUR mark i was thinking, if we can aggree on a curtian thing, we will have a lot more chance of having it made. that's why i made this topic, so we can discuss and aggree on curtian ships/places to put forward.Otherwise people will just through around random ideas and the set picked only a few people may have wanted. also, try to thnk of things lego wouldn't useally make.EG it is almost curtian lego will realase UCS A-wing and B-wing so don't say them as we'll probably get them anyway ;-) think, well, think abnormal, different to what lego would normally release... so let us DISCUSS and AGGREE BEFORE we put ideas forward okay, in about 3 days, can a mod please make a poll of the top 7-12 ideas mentioned and we will vote *y*

I strongly aggree. I mean, it's a very sad loss, and i really feel for his friends and family.But i don't see why it's anything more than that elderly man down your street dieing.People die all the time - it's part of life.To live, means you must die at some point - of earthly life.But when there are 10,000's of people dieing every day in other countries why is this anything more? - to me, it's less, this man has almost had anything he could want - well obvoisly not enough to him - probably just missing that one thing.-Real Joy-.The people overseas have had really nothing at all - apart from that true joy, that's what keeps them hanging on.They STRIVE to SURVIVE becouse of that joy.But They STARVE to death, they die from dehidration, aids ect. even though they try SO hard to survive they dont... :'-( :'-( :'-( But if it was drug over-dosage, THAT is really sad.That man must have been really trobbled (sp?) .I honestly don't know how anyone can take their own life.It is a very selfish thing to do, it's just taking the easy way out - not cool *n*

^^^^ you think you have it bad - well, you do, but still, worse that you is us kiwis over here we pay $130 for the RS!!! luckily, i don't want it anyway the sets i want from 2008 are 7668 - Scout speeder - i'll just grab it at k-mart 7670 - Hailfire droid - got one cheap on ebay ($32 NZD) becouse of a damaged box - useally $45 here, but not here yet 7671 - AT-AP - again, got one cheap on ebay ($50 NZD) becouse of a damaged box - useally $90 here, but not here yet all in all, america - YOU ARE SO LUCKY! if you think you have it bad, come to New Zealand NO lego shop, NO TRU, NO target, NO Walmart i try never to pay full price but buy off ebay.but it's still annoying...

i got this and a couple of other sets on monday.and to tell you the truth, i was a bit dissapointed.i like the set, i like the parts, but it's definitly not worth it's RRP of $45 NZD, if you ask me i should be more like $35 NZD, but hey, i still like it, i got it for $30 on ebay so i'm not complaining *y* *y*

i aggree, the emporors shuttle is a definite contender (sp?) i can't wait to hear their plans 8-

i try to get the boxes, but am not overly obsessed.i have to get the instructions though *sad* i will pay an extra few dollars for the box depending on the set but normally i try to get the boxs for UCS sets but small sets i won't pay much extra.

i wanted to talk with people who understand my intrests :-$ and the lego forum made no sence to me and it was so, americanized - not a bad thing, it just didn't suit me ;-)

i know what you mean, i remember when the sail barge was going to include C3-PO, chewie and bib fortuna (sp?) very sorry *vader* *yoda* ECT i know i probably had somthing to do with that... :'-) mercy please :-P

one more thing with this site, is that more and more people are joining by the day.i mean, thats great, we love new comers from their dark ages ect, but soon it will get out of hand :-( .it would be good if it got changed to an "invite only" or something.too many is too many, and prehaps it from now on needs to be more controled |-/ other people can still brouse and stuff ;-) another 20c - now $1 all up X-D

Well guys, i thought this would be a good topic to start.i personally kind of think of EB as a community, and want it to be more-so.Becouse of recent behavior i have noticed i think it would be good to have a place where people can learn to express their feelings without big bold angery yellings at each other.We all need to learn to calm down, and breathe.......... i try, but when buying secound hand, i try not to pay an extra $20 just to have a box.a few months ago i decided.i mush keep the box to Every ucs set.still try to get others, but don't really mind ;-)
