Ah well, that explains why you were asking for 7666 snowspeeders on fbtb... did you still have any leftovers from the hoth bases you/we got on bricklink? i might still be intrested in them...
-
kinda cool? kinda cool??? It's flippin amazing! It shall be mine! Na seriously mate it's purely the bullet holes in the snow that did it for me... Just Jokes! Its stunning though, it really is.BTW congrats on winning - you deserved it!
-

WHA????? The hoth base is on TM! Does anyone know whos selling it, is it anyone on here? I must say, it's amazing! I'll probably put a bid in - or a few... hundred bids I just can't explain what i'm feeling its so amazing.Does anyone know what he's looking for it ($)

Baby is correct. The seller's don't know what they're talking about. The 2009 clone BP will include 3 white troopers (1 with clone gear) and another other clone. These clones were given away in a couple ways. 1. The Clone wars building contest- lego stores had building contests, the person who made up the most clones in 1 minute got 1 free clone to take and keep. 2. TLC gave away 40,000 of these clones to raise money for charities 3.I'm not sure but i think these clones were given away in a UK magazine (or were they normal white clone?) - not sure on that one though

Actully, it's not yet availible on S@H in the USA. It was supposed to come out in the US this month, so keep your eyes out. General Magma: The US gets different sets at different times to other countries.Your country will most likely already have it on S@H, but the USA doesn't as they have their own lineup for the year.

So everyone hows it going? i really look forward to hearing about it. Hopefully the next one is a bit closer, say... christchurch?

Anyone intrested in some Damaged Box star wars sets?
Legoman replied to Legoman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Prices are reasonable for New Zealander's, aussies and most europeans. If your not intrested don't reply please. Thanks, Sam -
Edit:Looking now, the sets aren't probably a great deal for most americans, as i'm looking for around NZ prices. So i've added prices of what i'm looking for (pricewise). Just wondering, is anyone on here intrested in some damaged sets? I got a shipload of sets yesterday and was wondering if anyones intrested in anything. All sets are damaged boxes, but lego is 100% brand new and sealed. I've got: 2x At-st 7657 $25 8x General Grevious' Fighter 7656 $25 4x Y-wing 7658 $40 5x Naboo fighter + Vulture droid 7660 $35 1x Jedi starfighter with booster ring 7661 $75 1x MTT 7662 $140 Prices in $US Now keep in mind people, i'm not a Sculper nor am i stupid.I'm really sorry but i'm from New Zealand. This means postage won't be very cheap, and these prices wont look Great to some of you.But to fellow kiwi's and others that get ripped off by lego exchange rate, it's not bad. PM me if your intrested.I'm based in Christchurch New Zealand

Wasn't Ashoka's fighter the clone wars y-wing? There was another starfighter that was DK red, Obiwans CW Fighter prehaps?
-

-

Wow! thats an amazing set! I'm not a castle fan but... WOW i think anyone, castle lover or not, has to admit that this is a true peice of art. I probably won't get it but man, if i collected castle, i would get like, 10 of these and make a town Great Set TLC!

Q's & A's on instructions, tutorials, scans, book reviews
Legoman replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm a bit late, but you could also use Brickfactory almost every set ever. -
When i get somthing i think is a fraud i say, 'hi there, that looks a nice lot there.I might go to rome somtime soon, can i pay cash and pick it up?' They never know what to say other than 'no'

Well, yes, but for me, CW is what pushed me over the edge, i mean, cartoon star wars? WHAT THE HECK GEORGE At least the PT was still star warsy. This was plain... well.... stipid. It didn't have the star wars feel at all, and everything was WAY too... something... The moment i heard the new music for the beginning, i felt a disturbance in the force. Star wars just shouldn't be a cartoon.
-
Well, as for the movie as a whole, i was really dissapionted This is the first of the clone wars i have seen, but it was really not starwarsy enough for me.I think the character choice of ashoka was good, but not in the eyes of true star wars fans.I have always felt the role of a Jedi Knight was a great responcability (sp?), not a right. It was a Very honoured role in the galaxy.I felt that all the respectfulness of jedi's was thrown in my face. The movie was definatly for a younger age group. 6-10 mabye, the last ones, however, were universal. The entire movie was incredably user-friendly.By that i mean it didn't make you think much about it.It was a 'been there and done that' movie, which i really hate. As for the New Sets, i think they're great. They're well designed and look cool. But, i'm anti-clone-wars and anti-anything not in the original 6 movies, hence, i don't buy the CW sets, but i admit they look great.
-
I have 14 SBD's and all remain intact so far.Admittably, i don't 'play' with my lego much though. However, from my 50 or so BD's i have had mabye 3 or so arms of original BDs break, but most sets include extras, so i'm all good. I Would say complain to lego customer service, they'll give 'em to ya.
