Actully, no.when you watch the movie, its more like this.its just lego never did it right As for your model - Fantastic! the one youve shown in this thread doesnt really look like lego much but i checked out the link.Man, that thing is huge! Great job Can i just ask, about how many peices is this?
-
Yeah, NZ prices have been getting a lot better but i'm still too poor I can only get 1 HSD at the NZ 8 O'clock madness where do you fellow kiwis live? I'm in Christchurch.
-
HAHAHA! thats funny - twilight VS AT-TE - ummmm, thats a bit easy isn't it? "Well, good joke TLG, now, so whats the real price???" "TLG, Are You there?" (no respone - price stays the same) oh well - good for a laugh
-
Dont worry, i know what you mean... But as for your question, i'm not sure. You could compare inventorys on peeron with sets you think you might be able to make from the bits - but that takes a while

MISB UCS X-wing fighter for $183NZD
-
*Cough*this one*Cough* 'Attack shuttle' wonder what that is...
-
EXACTLY THE SAME... Why do you expect to find them? Lucasfilms has asked all shops not to put these sets (or anything CW) on the shelves until the 26th So dont go running around expecting to find them then getting all annoyed if theyre not there BUT... If they're not there on the 26th well, there will be blood that night...

Hey mate, just letting you know, you last thread wasn't deleted, it was just put into the 'what set should i buy' thread over in community - mods and admins prefer all 'what set should i buy' questions to go there. Your last topic (same as this one) was moved to here

Sorry that some of those prices are a little vague, but it is the best I can remember from my phone call. I'll be going out to layby/buy these sets as soon as they come out. Hope the rest of you are as excited as me! Hey Thanks for this. So they are being released August first and not July like the other countries. Good to know the prices as well. But none of the shops in NZ are doing those clone building events or midnight madness. Is that correct? Oh and I know I've asked this already but I kind of want an answer so does anyone know what's in the top compartment of the RGS at the back or is that just extra storage space? Woah! are you sure of these prices? last i heard the AT-TE was $180 over here, and RGS was $220... if so thats great news - thanks dragonator i wonder who will take up the droid gunship to be their presious exclusive... i hope it's around $70ish thanks!

Well, i hate to advertse it sorry guys - but i'm 13, and i've been on this site for years - and i've also seen its transformation... but thats another story... I actully feel i'm quite mature for my age.And since Vader said i was all good - he said i was here before they even introduced the 18+ rule, and i earned my place here, so i felt i was in the clear .I remember Vader bringing up a similar topic a while back - just without the signiture stuff. But thanks for the heads up ImperialShadows - it was needed That was SO funny

Hmmm, very tricky situation you have there NOT 7171 podrace is one of the best sets ever made imo, but the MTT (old one) sorry, but it was kinda a hunk of junk - i would really reccomend the podrace though
-
Hmmm I would say: 4483 AT-AT - just perfect capturing of star wars, amazing set, perfectly made Every UCS set so far - minus 10143 death star II - i love 'em so much perfect shape, and every set captures the ship perectly 7662 New MTT was really well done - perfect shape and captured the feeling really well. 6210 Jabba's sail barge - great set, great price, i would say the best first lego set you could give anyone. Not to hard, or easy, but great final model. 6209 Slave 1 This set isn't usally recognised as a 'great set' but it really is.It was a great build and perfect shape 7155 AAT was a really nice set - surprising for so early on in the SW lisence. 7171 Podrace and 7186 watto's junkyard really well designed pod's. 7264 imperial inspection, everything you could ever want, need i say more? 7658 y-wing surprisingly great set - was very well dsigned.

Dont forget, LLDC and all legolands are no longer owned by lego, so the people their dont need/want to care about your experience with lego, they just want your $$$ for you and your kids to get in.I'm sure if you went while it was still owned by lego, you would have had a much nicer experience Really sorry to hear about your bad week though - hope it gets better for ya'

Have any of you guys even been alive scince 1999 All the sets your talking about arn't THAT bad at all! Half them aint even that old And the old sets are the worst IMO the worst sets so far: Original droid fighter - Because it was very bulky - and in no way areodinamic (SP?), not very sleek to look at Jabba's palace - was a complete waste of time - it could have been a fine set - if they had taken any time to think about how to make it instead of puting down a bunch of flats then a load of 4H beams then another bunch of flats and a place to stick jabba. Oh, sure they managed a very average opening that could "fold out" - to look even more pathetic Podrace bucket - (i have inside info on this set... - no, for real actully )This set was very different- it wasn't exactly aimed at collectors - it was aimed at really young kids - but prehaps hats WHY i dont like it - and as a star wars completist - i still own it - and ou asked - so i answered... Original MTT - just wasn't enough thought put into it - I think scince lego was still not sure what approch SW collectors would take to lego, they didnt want to realse great bi sets unless they expected to sell them - thats why lego seem to be releasing more big sets these days - because they know, well , expect, they'll sell 'em.Bit back to this set it was definatly aimed at a smaller price point, and thats what you get for your money - but if they had put more into it, i'm sure people would have got a lot more out of it Cough*7662 Newer MTT* Cough All the technic sets - well we all knew it this line was a waste of time from the beginning, its almost impssible to make anything From TECHNIC to resemble any person/robot, hey, they tried - i'll give 'em that - but sorry, the sets never looked any good or anything like what they're sopposed to look like. --Legoman--
