  1. Svelte was one of the first "EB stars" to me, and I can imagine that made the site less fun for him. I suppose it was his mini-fig that made me see it that way. In Dystopia, I targeted him for being Svelte, much like Shadows is today. That was lame of me. And I'm sorry. Anyway, happy birthday, your talents are missed
  2. It was you! God killed for nothing
  3. Thanks for the good times. And sword-killer? Up yours
  4. Are there any traces of movement in the apartment? Footprints, places where the dust has been removed? If not, I'd like to remove the furniture covers, to see the condition of the pieces.

    Spring Time Photos

I'm in my 30s, married, with a kid, so I want to buy a house, and you can't do that here; property is too expensive, there are just condos that are affordable. So, we're moving to my wife's home prefecture, Hokkaido, which practically has the same weather as Toronto, but it has affordable places. I'll get to experience two spring bloomings, this February in Okinawa, and again in April in Hokkaido

That was one reason I left Canada! But I miss snow a little. A couple weeks a year is nice.

    Spring Time Photos

The Okinawa cherry blossoms bloomed this week. This is my last year in Okinawa, so it'll be my last early spring. Today was t-shirt weather. Enjoy the spring, it only comes once a year! <iPhone pics, by the way, not my best )
  8. Have a good one
  9. Let's enter the empty apartment! (no flats in America, folks)
  10. Good night all, may you all be safe this evening.
  11. Not a chance. There's a handful of bits and ends left on my desk that she's allowed to play with, but she can't touch the stash. Maybe when she's proved her maturity, with my car, for instance. For now, she's worse than Godzilla.
  12. Correcting the host when his vote is just a drop in the ocean, massive scum tell Just kidding, I realize everyone wants in on this lynch
  13. You're lucky it's not worse, he can be a real vengeful bitch (as long as you're not Dragonator).
  14. Nearly one year later, and with the birth of Cornelius Murdock's upcoming child, I thought I'd update this. Li'l def now has three Duplo sets, and she loves stacking. At just age two (and one month), she's not replicating anything from reality, mainly just stacking. Sometimes as tall as possible, sometimes as wide as possible, sometimes involving as many animals and maxi-figs as possible. She builds stuff in a pretty rhythmic way. Yesterday, she built something quite strange, alternating a 4x2 a three 2x2 bricks. She was proud afterward.
  15. Inducing labor sounds scary, but it's a heck of a lot less stressful on the lady. It can cut the labor period to 1/3 its normal time. In Japan, doctors seem to often recommend it (based on a few anecdotal stories I've heard) You're bringing back some memories, my wife screaming 'itai!' (it hurts!), me holding her hand, and making an incredibly useless expression on my face. My child's birth was one of the most useless feelings I've ever had in my life.
  16. I don't find this argument very convincing. Reminiscent of someone waiting to die at the old folks home
  17. I think this is possible, since the guns and bullets are separated. There could be a few more unique twists to learn
  18. A lot of the time there is no protection against conversion, who knows in this case. But, possibly we can luck out with the "target investigator". Harriet survived the first night, but perhaps the threat of being investigated for targeting Harriet is enough to keep her safe.
  19. He seems quite guilty, and it seems that we're not getting any more new info today, so I Vote: Adam Sokern (sok117) At best, we're bagging a werewolf. At worst, you learned a lesson in how to express yourself more effectively.
  20. Shadows took care of that one But I know what you meant, a lot of z, c, and s get switched around between England and America. Canadians use British spelling, but read American stuff most the time, so, personally, I can't remember which is which. I suppose so, but the lose/loose problem is something that predates me on the Internet, and I don't think of it as an ESL problem, I think of it as an illiterate Westerner thing, up their with the your/you're thing (which our players seem to have mastered) I wasn't going to lynch them That's what you were hinting at, right? Thanks for letting us know which mistakes are worth griping about I suggest for the remainder of the game, we our best to speak and write using Victorian English, in order to improve the authenticity of the game.
  21. Happy birthday!
  22. Can I just say, some of the spelling in the main thread is atrocious. Hopefully nobody's using Internet Explorer, and instead are using one of the browsers with spell check. People will still write lose as loose, but you can't correct everything
  23. We have 48 hours or so to vote, so I'm going to wait for a while to cast my vote. It seems that there is more information coming.
  24. You have to host an advanced game before hosting a Mafia School game?! But seriously, I think the first few rounds should be veteran game hosts, but this might become an area to break in new hosts as well.
  25. That made no sense. I blame the wine. I meant: I would think that someone who offered the information is more reliable than someone who was confronted and then used it as an explanation. But it also depends on the skill and ingenuity of the person lying.
