LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
Raven Brickroft replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
13 I think is a rocker dude. I'm surprised no one's exclaimed NEW MOULDS! Those new hair pieces. The pom poms! A syringe from the nurse! The robot helm. Everything looks great! -
Classic LEGO at school!
Raven Brickroft replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I believe they're Modulex. And if I'm not mistaken, they are related to LEGO. -
Ah yes... the articulated customs. The ones with balljoints.

No Room for Nudity in the Land of the Dead
Raven Brickroft replied to Basiliscus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
They have no real reason to keep on wearing clothes. Nothing to protect or keep hidden on their body. And they probably don't need to keep warm during the nights either. -
Wow. Just... wow. The level of detail. The size of the MOC. The construction. Everything's just in an astounding level. Great work!

Garage Sale Find and Some Questions
Raven Brickroft replied to Guardianmonkey's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Quite a find there, buddy. I've also recently come across a great deal. It was less than $40 (converted from local currency). It contained about 10-20 sets all from 80-90's. These sets include: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6080-1 Mostly complete, except for the flags. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6371-1 http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6374-1 And that's just 3. I also suggest looking at the minifigs. I've been able to identify these sets because I was aware of the minifig and minifig count of the sets. -
Great MOC's from a single set. My favorite would have to be the little heli.

I love little MOCs like these. I'm impressed about the shawarma. That little brown carrot's got a lot of use. From poop to food, Maybe I should get more of them. Was the MOC in minifig scale? I think it would definitely look weird.

If TLG Were to Revisit a Castle Faction
Raven Brickroft replied to Sir Dillon's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I voted for Forestmen. I'd love to see how new sets would stack up and what fantasy twist they would come with (if they were to be fantasy). I would've voted for Dragon Knights, but seeing as how dragons are made these days, I wouldn't want to see 8992309 of those large dragons. -
It does look like a Vorox. It may be a far cry from the scorpion-like Vorox from official sets, but it does embody the fierceness of the Vorox (easily achieved by using the same head).

Memory Brick-Lane: Hydronauts Theme
Raven Brickroft replied to ZO6's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice lookback on a theme that came during my dark ages. I love the minifigs. Their prints are very nice, also usable for space MOCs. Their accessories, although just recolors are awesome, especially the chrome. The colors used are great on their own, but together, leaves a lot to be desired. TLG's been using unusual color combinations lately, but this is just too over the top for me. The vehicles look fun to play with (for a child) but the colors, again, are all that I do not like. Edit: Those suction guns look awesome. I was thinking what kind of handheld weapon was that, but it's a completely unique accessory (to me anyways). -
Well, he posted it in a folder entitled "My LEGO creations". Unless all folders are named like that by default,I don't see any problem.

<insert that tiresome argument>? Not to sound smug or anything but, How exactly is the round up town <insert that tiresome argument>? Above the windows on the second floor is some unconventional building detailing. On the first floor, I see bricks bricks and more bricks on the walls. The mine shaft? I don't see anything wrong with its construction.

MOC: Milouuu, where are youuu?
Raven Brickroft replied to marcosbessa's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Love the creation. I love how you made the paws. He is just adorable. I remember the dog being named "Snowy". Just wiki'd: Milou was named Snowy in the American version ( If I read that correctly ) -
Custom Villian - Yellow Head
Raven Brickroft replied to exxtrooper's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Great work! I love how he looks. His decals look great, specially the torso decal. -
I'll definitely get flacked for this but, a Disney Princess collection? Small sets, about $20 each, that contains one small scene for every Disney Princess that exists. It could also contain their partners. It would definitely focus on the princess role playing for little girls and provide a handful of minifigs for minifig collectors.

Well, well~ Let's have a go with this.

People in our country (Philippines) do put ketchup in our fried chicken. And not just tomato ketchup, BANANA ketchup too. Nice mods. Especially the 90 degree stand. A question though, salt and pepper in squeeze bottles?

I don't think they are the badguys per se. Remember, it's LEGO. It's up to the child who he wants to be cast in to the role of good and bad guy. They were always in black costumes, maybe that's why the child's mind mostly associates them to be the lesser good faction.

Awesome creation. It really has that dwarf built feel to it. I love the two chimneys(?) and of course the drill itself.

Fire Nation Commander
Raven Brickroft replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Make the yellow a bit smaller. (Or would it have problems if it were any smaller?) -
I also wish a lot of these AFOLs just remove their nostalgia goggles. A lot of these guys seem to REALLY hate change or something new.

Finally! More livestock. I'm really interested in that Pig pen set. But why the firefighter sets, again? *sigh* Ah well, hopefully it does well.
