You're probably thinking, "Why does Iron Man need a ship?". And you know what Mr. Stark says to that: "Why can't my suit have a suit? A suit in the form of a beautiful VTOL." This ship is powerful, agile, and green. It runs off an Arc Reactor, and can run for up to three months independently. It is armed with a variable weapons systems on the bottom, capable of acting as a light machine gun for infantry or it can fire armour piercing bullets at surprising speeds. It has two fold out missile launchers and two Repulsor Rays. A full visual feed and all data is provided to Tony through the HUD within his suit, meaning only he (or Jarvis) can fly the ship. For the FBTB Wings of Justice Contest. Check out the full set of pictures here: Iron Man's VTOL

Kaliphlin Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
DarthNick replied to Si-MOCs's topic in Guilds of Historica
I, Arom Alled, would at last like to dedicate the services of myself and my cousin Nira, to the greatest Guild of all, Kaliphin: "Arom and Nira Alled, cousins, act as guardians of the Westersands, keeping watch just outside of the Wither Woods. Arom will often traverse the Woods in search of enemy scouts, though he has never actually been seen doing so. Nira scours the Westersands, in search of Lost Treasure, as it is rumoured there is a city of immeasurable wealth buried in the sands. In battle, the duo is unstopabble, with Nira a master of close combat and Arom a master with bow and arrow. Together, they hope to keep Kaliphin safe from the enemy, and perhaps bring riches to it as well." -
Here's a Think Tank built for the group of the same name over on Flickr, where they're having 'Marchikoma'. Some additional shots: Enjoy!

LEGO in Film & TV: Index of Appearances
DarthNick replied to Izzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
My first commissioned build was recently featured on TV. It was built for a show called 'The L.A. Complex', which airs on MuchMusic every Tuesday at 9 PM (EST), and was shown in last night's episode. It appears for about 15 seconds in clip 1 of 5 at around 2:45. Link to clip. The build was of a gate from Rashomon, some 1950s Japanese movie, and as you'll see in the clip the two guys are making a brickfilm about it. Definitely not an amazing build, but considering I had about 3 weeks to plan it (in LDD at that, since I don't have the bricks to plan something that large in brick), I think it turned out ok. The pic was taken by the Props-master (the guy I built it for) on the set, since I didn't have time to get good pics myself. -

Hey, For the few of you who don't know me, my name's Nick, and I work at the better of the two LEGO Stores in Toronto, meaning the Sherway Gardens location (sorry, Ricecracker). I've been dragged onto these forums by a few friends. We'll see how it goes. If anyone's ever coming by my store, let me know, that way I can see if I'll be there and we can meet.

Thanks for the blog Captain Zuloo! Much appreciated!

Thank you Commodore Hornbricker!

Oh no worries, I wasn't taking the gory details too seriously, as it was very easy to see your humor in it all.

Thanks to both of you, I really appreciate your comments and suggestions. So to address those suggestions: Tereglith: I have to say I'm gonna go with TheOtters about the seagulls, although I did try your suggestion, and must admit I don't like the look as much. TheOtters: I didn't really consider this to be violent (at least not for pirates anyways) and believe that it isn't too gory. As for the cannonball, someone already mentioned that on Flickr. There are two reasons (or perhaps excuses ) that I have for why there is not a cannonball shown. First of all, I believe that it would to too crowded near the bird, and may end up looking sorta messy. And second I had figured that the cannonball would have shot through the seagull and would be "off set" if you know what I mean. And as for the smoke, I don't have any ice cream and think that the skeleton arms technique (which I have used before) wouldn't fit well, as it would also make the scene too crowded. And BTW I'm ain't no vegetarian and enjoy my chicken(ya, it's a bird) at dinner (and maybe I'll just have to try seagull someday ).

(1)Overall shot. - (2)A view of the Pirate Cannon Shooter and Imperial Cannon Shooter. (3)A view of a Pirate gal with her hands up in excitement, and another Pirate yelling in disgust at the exploding bird. - (4)A view of an Imperial guard, looking in jealousy as the Pirates score the winning point. (5)A view of the Imperial Captain paying the Pirate Captain. - (6)A better shot of the Pirate receiving his payment. Here's a link to the set, with additional images: PTVII: A Common Enemy Please let me know ASAP of any suggestions you may have. Thanks!

DarthNick replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
So I couldn't digitally edit a number off a soccer jersey's back? Or even cover it with paper? -
CONTEST: Pillage the Village - Terms & Conditions
DarthNick replied to Mister Phes's topic in Pirate MOCs
I have a question. Would it be alright if I use some blue sticky tack to hold something in place? Thanks. Edit: One more question, can I digitally edit a part off the torso of a minifig?
