  1. Thanks The Bricktator, Legocrazy81, and LegoFan03! As for the iMacs, all I'm doing is wrapping an elastic band around a 2x2 tile, then inserting it into a 1x1 modified tile with clip. If that still doesn't make sense I can post a picture within the next few days. Thanks so much! Unfortunately I don't have any of the modulars built, and I doubt I ever will, since I rarely build sets anymore. And once again I'm glad to see all the interior details noticed!
  2. Thanks, though I can't take credit for the monitor, stole that from someone else (can't remember). And glad you think so, both a clean look and fun details is something I always aim for! Thanks! I liked the projector too . Unfortunately I didn't have time to get it working, but I plan to motorize it in the future!
  3. B-OM-29C Cutting it even closer with this one! The is the office for the folks at Brickin' Games, known for some great small games. An front view of the building can be found here. Here we have the lobby of the office building. You can see the receptionist, Carmen, checking her email. There's a seating area, and you can also catch a glimpse of a statue of a character from their best-selling game, Space Patrol. A view of the small but functional washroom, with all the necessities. Here we have the second floor, where all the work gets done! On the left is a boardroom (for those big, important meetings), with a projector and game controller. On the right is the main workspace, with a coffee machine and water cooler (filled with mountain dew) against the front wall. The staff can be seen hard at work (except Phil, who just woke up from a nap and is grabbing some coffee). The workstation features two computers for the two programmers, Phil and Jeff, and a drawing board for the graphics designer, Alec. A very fun build, though very quickly put together. I took inspiration from several other builders, so you may recognize some things from other builders (such as the Computers, Water cooler, and some of the furniture). Enjoy!
  4. B-OM-30C Here's my entry for the contest! Talk about cutting it close! This is New Brick Park. A nice and simple little place to take your dog for a walk, let the kids play at the playground, or just sit back and relax under the shade of the tree. Here we can see the bench, tree, and water fountain. There are also some beautiful flowers growing next to the tree. And here we see the playground. The playground has a swing for one and some space to play in the sand. Enjoy!
  5. All done. Hope your research goes well!
  6. Really nice! I too am impressed by the sturdiness of it. Only complaint would be that the rear wings seem a wee bit bland in comparison to the rest of the ship. Also wondering if the smaller fighter docks inside of the bigger ship anywhere?
  7. Thanks! May I ask what you don't like about the TIE fighter? I personally dislike the way the cockpit piece forces me to have square edges around the cockpit.
  8. So simple yet so awesome! Really great job on this! I as well love the colour scheme on this.
  9. Very nice! That 3/4 rear shot (2nd last one) is really hot. Though I have to admit I don't like the central gun in front of the cockpit.
  10. dr_spock - 1 point natelite - 1 point purpleparadox - 1 point So many great avatars here! Tough to decide! Thanks for hosting such a fun little contest!
  11. Thanks folks! Thanks! And you're chibi MOCs were really great too... I really loved that shot! Thanks, but I have to admit, I'm not quite sure what you mean.
  12. Thanks everyone! Thanks, and while that sounds awesome, it'll probably never happen. There's always this though: Chibi Star Wars MOCs in Si-MOCs Trench (The TIE Advanced is dr_Spock's I believe) WOW! Thanks-a-million!
  13. Thanks Dapper-D2, Bob De Quatre, and Bilbo Baggins! If you look in the description, you'll see that was my intention. I definitely took a look at those while working on these. Wish I had those toys when I was a kid. LEGO was pretty good though.
  14. I built these a few months ago (and very quickly) for Star Wars Day 2012 Toronto, which takes place on "May the 4th be with you". While I did build them very quickly (2-4 hours for each), I am pretty happy with them. Here's a link to my Star Wars set on Flickr, where I have a few more shots of each: Star Wars Set Enjoy!
  15. Wow! These are just fantastic... I have such a strong desire to go and build some now.
  16. While I do like the larger mould of the Hulk, I don't like that his head or hips can't turn. Really limits the pose-ability of the figure. You would think that they would at least have all the same articulation points as a minifigure.
  17. Just updated mine as well: Thanks so much to the staff for organizing such fun contests! Can't wait to start on my SoF entries!
  18. So many awesome little details here! Some of my favourites are the old TV and junk sticking out of the red bin. Only complaint is that the cart seems a little large.
  19. WOW! Both modes look fantastic! And I would've never thought it would be that complicated to transform (after seeing the video), meaning just based on the pics of the model, it looks like it would be easy, so kudos to you for fooling me!
  20. Very nice! The greebles around the engine are awesome, and look like it would really be functional. I also like the light bley cross beams from the engine to the cockpit. A sticker or two might look nice on the curved part of the cockpit in the first picture.
  21. Dudeeeee... This rocks! It's too bad you didn't crush a TTC bus or something though! The destroyed buildings look sweeeet!
  22. Just beautiful! All the different little sections are fantastic!
  23. That's a scary thought my friend. I personally like the direction the friends line is going, and look forward to seeing the response to the summer wave of sets.
  24. WOW! I just saw this, kinda forgot to check here for the build. That's awesome, and it looks like I have all the parts needed too! As soon as I have a chance I'll try building it. Thanks a million!
