    Hoke should also only have 1 Remedy and MAYBE 1 Phoenix Essence. Just trying to help!

    Since you had the counterstrike gloves on me AFTER the floor battle, I did not say anything. If I was listed with the chains on, I would have changed them after the battle. I want the gloves on and not the chains.

    Zeph - Hoke drank the Pongcanis Brew and Remedy. Should be Encouraged and Inspired. Level should be 21 1/3 and Power should be 42 unless I am missing something. PL - If Hoke can get lucky and hastened, I think I can do some major damage to the Chaos Beast with a few spellspins especially while wielding the Twin Broadswords. Cronk would be a good choice to lucky too for an Angel. Diamond, Master A, Back Row.

    Hoke watches the others jump into the hole. He takes a peek in and backs off. He unslings his pack, and digs around a bit for two small bottles. Hoke consumes the Pongcanis Brew and Remedy. "Vipera, if Wren is waiting on the other side of this hole, I will need that blessing." Hoke steps into the hole.

    I don't see Vipera, but if you say so! Hoke mulls over Atramor's suggestion. "Probably true my friend. I will see what other preparations need to be made by the group before I consume these items." Hoke looks around and sees Vipera Perched in the rafters watching the party. He lifts his arm and calls Vipera down. "Vipera, you have gone beyond friendship to me on this quest. The aid you have rendered goes beyond any I have received or perhaps will ever receive. I am truly grateful and glad I took a gamble on the black market that day. If we face Wren after we enter this hole, might you bless me once more?"

    "If that is true, I wish Vipera were here. I could use her blessing one last time, not to mention give her my most heartfelt gratitude. She has truly aided me on this quest."

    Hoke catches the bottle and puts it back in his pack. "As you say my friend." Turning to the others. "Seems I've made a giant hole in the ground and a few of our quest mates have decided to go exploring. Shall we join them or are there some other matters we should address first?" Hoke takes a tonic from his pack and consumes it. He turns to Nyx. "Such a lovely dancer. It was my pleasure," he says with a bow.

    (Actually with the Twin Broadswords, I think Hoke attacked the floor a total of 12 times. ) HOKE THE FLOOR SLAYER!!! Hoke digs in his pack and tosses Atramor his Pongcanis Brew. "Thanks my friend."

    If Hoke gets a spellspin (1 action) does the Floor Counterstrike for each hit or just for the 1 action?

    "As you wish my friends." Hoke removes the Counterstrike gloves and dons the Chains. He steps up to the front row, ready to attack the floor with the Twin Broadswords. Twin Broadswords, Floor, Front Row. (Somebody heal me!)

    Hoke moves over to Nyx. He takes her hand, raises it up and bows to give it a light kiss. "Shall we dance my lady?" Sapphire, Floor, Back row (Twin Broadswords). (Make me lucky, encouraged, inspired and all of that! Whack me with a healing staff every once in a while).

    Hoke points to the casks, kegs and crates they moved to the other side of the room. "Already done my lady."

    Hoke looked around and saw his comrades were not as eager to get into the fight as him, He lowered his sword and shield. "So, are we just going to wait for Cronk's angel?"

    "Unless they wish to become flaming furballs," Hoke says with a wink. "Haldor, I could have sworn you said you were going to make a cloak from Vonnetate's skin. I do hope I did not ruin that for you."

    Seeing that the pickaxe has absolutely no affect on the floor, Hoke steps back, unsheathes the Vintul and attacks. Whatever Elemental Gem the Floor is Vulnerable to Sapphire, Floor, Back Row.

    "Gentlemen, if you don't mind." Hoke motions towards the casks, kegs and crates stacked into the corner. He begins to move them out of the way with the help of the heroes. He wipes his brow and unslings his pack from which he grabs his pickaxe and starts to break up the bare floor. (Seriously? It's a floor. Pickaxes and shovels should do just fine. BUT, if we REALLY have to fight this thing, how does counterstriking work? I'll take 1/3 level from a floor) In between swings and grunts, Hoke addresses Arthur. "I believe I borrowed this Topaz from you. Would you want to trade it for my Hollow Blade Dagger (WP:6)?"

    Concur. No excuses. Plus I only need 27 more successful battles to be at lvl 30!
