Depends, If its a figure, be it Constraction or system with the level of articulation I expect from constraction, I'll definitely buy it. if its a bust or a diorama with minifigs, I wont. If it gets the lack of marketing that G2 got, no one outside of fanatics will even know its there, so (bionicle fans) will be back to relying on advertising it through word of mouth Cry about it

Its interesting how people here just cannot grasp the idea that yes, many of those accounts were created just to vote for Bionicle, why? because unlike most Lego themes, Bionicle had an impact on people who aren't a part of the lego community and/or don't necessarily like lego itself, and they are voting for the one theme from the company that they enjoyed.

You really do underestimate how insufferable afols are to young bionicle fans. I only had a minor growing interest in other themes, but the early gatekeeping left a sour taste in my mouth, after that I just grew to never have a desire to explore anything lego related outside of Slizers, Roboriders, Bionicle, Hero Factory and the SW constraction sets. the only exception was using system as greeble for my mocs

As an actual fan of Bionicle from the first year: This is exactly why I voted for it. That and bad experiences with afols in the past. It may shock people, but some people have absolutely no interest in bricks and just want to make dudes out of technic and ccbs

Speak for communities of themes that you're actually a part of If its constraction, or any sort of a figure, Bionicle fans will likely buy it, if it's system, oh well, some will buy it, but I personally wont

Yup, this, I ran across hostile system fans in my earliest interactions with the lego community and it's led me to acquire a homogeneous collection and a tendency to be extremely abrasive to system fans. Honestly, if it weren't for Technic barely keeping my interest in anything recent and related to lego, the company could disappear tomorrow and I likely wouldn't notice or care

I'm in the minority here, but I've only ever cared about Constraction and Technic, so if Constraction were to go the route of system mechs piloted by minifigs I'd honestly much rather it stay dead

I'll consider it a prank by Brickset staff until proven otherwise, even then, with how lego handled G2, I dont think I can even feel hyped for any story elements of G3, but hey, parts

no, we got Hero Factory almost immediately afterward, and the first wave was filled with recoloured parts infact, this year has had the least constraction sets put out since it started

...not to be rude, but a hand full of parts per year isn't really that encouraging

(I know, I know, I dont post outside of the constraction figure forum but) I heard that if that Makuta set were released there would be no chance of Bionicle ever coming back or possibly any new constraction line coming out, and honestly? seeing how poorly star wars ccbs and constraction in general was handled? I really wish that were the case

Oh man, I haven't used a forum in years, so apologies if I dont know how quoting works admittedly, you're on a site where the constraction community has little to no presence, and will most likely not have a reason to show up here anymore in the coming future and some folks (including me) really have no interest in Lego outside of constraction, and when that goes, we go, so its understandable to be a bit grumpy when the only tether to the site/community is possibly being severed (though I dont condone folks acting crazy over it) bye then there's really not alot to discuss

a decade of them telling me my favourite themes are garbage has made me extremely bitter to them. anyway, i have this nagging fear that this is going to be the only constraction line for SW for quite some time, but we'll only know when these sets get done selling

im questioning why system fans come here to complain about the sets not being system. :U that aside, is anyone here getting multiples of the sets for display and parts?
