    The commentary is amazingly funny. One thing I thought was really cute: in the last scene when Emmet and Lucy are holding hands, Benny flies around Uni-Kitty and they hug. Awwwww. Bennikitty fans unite!

    Does anyone else think that the best SDCC fig would be a normal fig like Cap or Spidey with their back printing replaced with the SDCC logo and 2014 beneath it? Kinda like that old Johnny Thunder minifig with the LEGO logo on the back.

    That's a little disappointing about the helmets. Have you tried the Avengers Cap head on the dark blue one?

    Instructions? Pretty please? I tried making one but yours is better. We do need more X-Men. I made movie 1 Cyclops, Rogue, and Magneto, DOFP Wolverine and Trask, and Sabretooth. They help fill out the roster a bit. Also made a Winter Soldier, don't have a pic but I can describe: dark brown Dastan hair, 2012 Robin head, 2008 Darth Vader torso with one grey arm, black sword sheath from POTC, Hawkeye legs. Gave him a SW rifle wedged inbetween his torso and the sheath on his back and Captain America's shield.

    I really want a Marvel D2C next year because DC got one last year and Marvel still hasn't got one. The X-Mansion would be the obvious choice except that Marvel/Fox feud right now. The Helicarrier could be a possibility.

    This is VERY good for sets. Finally, maybe a different Spidey! The season sounds good. I watched all of S1 but didn't watch any of 2 besides the Deadpool ep. Might watch these.

    I picked up the Everything is Awesome version today. Pretty cool. Love the minifigure, and the Emmet head is pretty boss.

    Is that the one with Punisher and Electro? So excited. Punisher probably will never be made and I really hate the Spider-Trike. Plus I don't have Falcon yet. Already have official Red Skull but the extra will be custom fodder. Ordered a Phoenix set and a FF set from aliexpress. Already shipped, should be here in a couple weeks. If these turn out good I'll probably go full out and order the Thing set, the Hulk set, the Flash set, and the Odin set. Also, I haven't been a huge fan of SY's figure choices but the Captain America set and the new Batman set look nice.

    So I'll be doing my first purchase today. I'm thinking 1 Green/Red/Gray Hulk set, 1 FF set, and 2 Phoenix/Joker/BW sets since that one I really want to be good. Should I do this or get the Flash/Nightwing/DD set instead of the 2nd Phoenix/Joker/BW set?

    I'm 100 percent sure we'll get him when the Ant-Man movie comes out. But I don't know about the comic style.

    An Ecto-1a conversion is definitely possible. Easy part is adding to the roof. Multicolored trans cheese wedges instead of blue for sirens, big radar dish, big white tube on back, long tiles. The hard part is stuff that can't be replicated in bricks. No-ghost 2 sign on doors, rear, and hood. Phone number on sides. Stripes on top of doors and lower in the vehicle. Words on the tiles. The new license plate. These you'll have to make decals for.

    Really I prefer this as the best set of the year, with Spaceship second. Spaceship is really an amazing set but this just nails the look of such an iconic car perfectly. Add in all the cool stuff like printed tiles, display stand, and silver parts and this is a must-buy. I hope that someday Brent's Stay Puft could come to give the car a worthy opponent.

    I agree with you. I'm getting a few. Especially some stuff like bootleg SDCC minifigs. I'm not paying over $800 for ASM2 Spidey and Pheonix when I can get them for $6. Not my fault Lego keeps making damn exclusives when they know people want them but can't afford them. Also there's a lot of minifigs Lego hasn't made. For example, Iron Man armors. I can buy 12 armors for $15. Sure, 5 or 6 are Lego designs but I already bought all Lego's armors in sets so no harm really done. Now I get a teensy little bit guilty when I see one set I want that is set minifigs I don't have, (Flash/AC Robin/Doctor Doom/Nightwing/Shazam) but otherwise those would cost me $250 plus probably another $250 for Shazam. And it's $7.50. Way more reasonable.

    In honor of the 30th anniversary of the first movie I watched both Ghostbusters movies. Man, those are great. 1st is always awesome, but the 2nd was better than I remembered. Also saw Rio 2 last week. Pretty good. Some scenes are just amazing to look at. The end was pretty environmentalist to the extreme but I saw it coming. Overall, a cute film.
