We strongly suggest you refrain from criticizing sets on the basis of what you imagine they're going to look like. Wait till we have pictures before you start complaining. Be smart, think about what you are posting and in what thread you are posting. This IS your warning! If you have substantiated news, you can post it in the 2022 News thread. Here's my entry for the Ancient Wonders category:

The grand entrance to Treacleheim was famous for it's large statues depicting the dwarf brothers Dwim and Dim. As travelers approached the dwarven city, the light would catch off the gem-studded door drawing attention to the large doors. But it was the towering statues that kept visitor's attention as they crossed the bridge. Wyndor was visiting the dwarves of Treacleheim. The citizen's of his city, Dalig Ulv, were bringing their fall produce to trade for weapons. Raiders were becoming more and more of a problem. And with winter coming soon, it was likely the raids would only increase. Best to be well armed. And what better way to protect yourself than with a dwarven blade?

My end of Aug to beginning of Sept orders have arrived:

I'm a little late to the party and am glad the discussion has moved on to true rumors. But for the record, we don't know for sure what Lego's agreement is with Disney and/or Hasbro for CMFs. Let's pause that speculation for now. Also, please be careful not to devolve into wishlists about future CMFs or minifgure lineups. We have a dedicated thread for that.

Such a unique set! It's very fresh in terms of Lego set designs and I love it! I also love your final picture. I miss the days when I could expect to see an Oky Lego meme once a week or so on Flickr.

As someone who has been dipping his toes into Technic sets this review is a joy to read! I'm still trying to learn the jargon Technic builders use, but you made it easy to follow along. What an amazing looking set and I can't wait to see it in action when you have access to the app.

Fantastic review! I love how they attached the wreath through the window holes in the front door. A new technique to Lego sets I believe.

What a beautiful build! I'm a big fan of the new curved slope piece and am thrilled it comes in Dark Red now. It seems like the Dark Red is pretty consistent in your copy of the set. I know Lego struggles with keep the shades the same from production run to production run. I wonder if others will end up with slight variations in red if their copy gets parts from different runs.

There's no easy way. You just have to know what sets currently in production are using the pieces you're looking for. You can check Bricklink if you're not sure and see if the part is in any 2020-1 set. You could also ask here on EB, this community can give the answer if you're not sure yourself.

Just ordered my 2 copies of the Forge from Lego. Was surprised to see that the limit was 5 per person. We'll see how fast it sells out.

Two orders I placed at the beginning of Aug showed up late last week. I'm hoping the order I placed yesterday will show up by the end of Sept.

Just found this cool new part: from a Princess storybook set.

Yes, it's not there now. Probably so they can try to fulfill all the existing pre-orders before it sells out on Sept 1st in 5 min.
