[Review] 71397 Luigi’s Mansion™ Lab and Poltergust
MKJoshA replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Licensed
I love all the new molds here! Not enough for me to get this set, but it certainly has me searching Bricks and Pieces. -
LEGO Star Wars 2022 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
So I enjoyed BoBF. It wasn't the best SW thing ever, but better than the Sequels or Solo. That said, I agree with all of these critiques of the show: As for the sets. The Palace seems totally worth the $100 price tag. We get 2 new alien species, 1 with a new mold. And 3 more rare aliens. The set could look a little better and Boba and Fennec could have improvements. But for what we are getting I think it's a great set and I'll be picking up 2 so I can finally have some Quarrens! -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I got the same email for the orders I still have that haven't shipped. All placed on a different days but the emails all came the same day. It's got to be part of the new system and they sent the email to all existing orders. -
Thanks for the review! Even among the cheaper sets of the Mario wave this one seems lack-luster.

The Kaminoan, Jango's Slave 1, and other specifics are all speculation. If you read Promobricks article they state what they know for sure (Jedi Starfighter, Cad Bane's Ship, and BD-1) and then add some speculation on their part. They said they know an AT-TE is coming, but they don't know when. So it may not even be this wave for sure from what I understood. -

Love the set. But it seems like a missed opportunity to get an updated Gamorrean among other figs. -

I'd say it's a ploy to get you to order multiple times. But that doesn't make any sense. Someone from AU isn't going to pay shipping two or three times. And even for us who have reasonable shipping prices, that money goes to shipping and not to Lego's profit margin. -

The D.Orange horse is listed for $5.42 in the US. I wasn't going to get one yet, but if the prices really are going that high I'm going to order 2 before the US gets hit with the update. -

Wow, so glad I got my "last" order in this past week. Like many I fear the changes will be for the worst. But I'll try to hold out hope. -
Everyone, this is not the place to buy and sell. If you want to do that you should post in the correct thread found here.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

While placing an order yesterday I noticed a new number for dual molded legs. The old number is 21019 and has most of the dual legs. But the new one is 79690 and has 3 options. Same with the dual molded arms/torsos. Old number is 16360. The new number is 78568 and has only 1 piece right now. Wouldn't be surprised if they are phasing in a new element ID and that the newer number will be where all the dual molded parts get placed. -

FACTIONS: Introduction and Rules
MKJoshA replied to Darth Bjorn's topic in Factions: A Galaxy Divided Archives
The leadership of EB is sorry to announce that due to differences that could not be resolved @goatman461, @Darth Bjorn and @RocketBoy will be stepping down from leadership of Factions. They put a lot of effort into it, but as it is a Eurobricks game it will remain here on the site. They are welcome to use a different platform to run their own game. But "Factions" as it exists is the property of Eurobricks. We know there is a Discord channel being used to host their own iteration of the game. But for those who want to continue playing Factions all your work on EB will remain. Know that Eurobricks leadership has taken steps to understand the complaints voiced by @goatman461, @Darth Bjorn and @RocketBoy. But through that discussion they've shown themselves to be unwilling to abide by the site guidelines. With their removal there will be changes to the game. But we welcome all Factions Leaders and players to continue to play Factions on EB. Please be patient with us as we form a new leadership team. If you have any questions please let me know. -

Wanted to publicly announce that @Stuartn is going to take over as leader of CorSec. I'm looking forward to continue to build for CorSec, but Stuart will be the man in charge. -

Looking at the pictures the Dark Troopers do seem to be identical to the Imperial Cruiser version. I was worried they'd use printed armor instead of the neck piece or something else to differentiate the figures like they did with the Praetorian Guards battle pack. But that doesn't seem to be the case. For those concerned about the price, I'm sure Lego is thinking if people are willing to pay $30 for 1 Dark Trooper on Bricklink then they'll have no problem paying $30 for 3. Oh, and you get a bonus 150 pieces to go with them! That doesn't justify the high price. But it's enough to get me to go buy multiples of this set. -

That's a good point. Really the only thing that makes her stand out is her Ego Waffle.

I love both Luke and Mando's helmets. But I think Luke's will be the one that gets me to buy my first helmet set. I'm assuming all those parts are printed, right? So much re-use potential for Rebel MOCs! -

Keep in mind, after literally every new episode someone has ventured it could contain the inspiration for our still unknown BOBF set. Maybe it's from this episode, or maybe it's from one still to come. -
It's the round hat! That's what makes Woody look off to me. I couldn't put my finger on it till you mentioned it. That criticism aside, I think Woody is the best of all the Brickheadz in this wave. I love that they have "stuffing" inside him. And that holster is the perfect touch. Bo Peep is nice and rounds out this set really well.

Your criticism is warranted, but I have to agree with Jim that Buzz doesn't actually look too bad in this form.

[REVIEW] 40559 - Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote
MKJoshA replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great review! I love seeing how they attached Road Runner's head. But I agree that the rest of the building techniques are lackluster. -
This ship is amazing! Love how you did the lower fin. And the cockpit is amazing!
