[N17 - DS] - Patrolling on Crait
MKJoshA replied to Eternal Maul's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Great first entry! I went ahead and fixed your link on the form you submitted. If you use the post link next time you'll be all set. -
I would say that if you haven't displayed your Cloudrunner here in EB before, we could let it slide that you displayed in on Flickr before. The idea behind that rule is to make sure people don't join the game and then post a bunch of old MOCs. That doesn't seem to apply to this situation. Let me know if you want to post a new topic with the Cloudrunner or just have it added to your score here.

[S11 - MC] The Ungraceful Exit

The wake, the different colored and textured walls, and of course your ship are all amazing builds. Fantastic entry and since it was part of M4 you get x2 XP. -

Looks a lot like Kessel, the little green pond is nice touch. Great work! -
[REVIEW] 60437 Jungle Explorer Helicopter - more than just gorillas?
MKJoshA replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Town
Great review. I'm planning to get this set for my 6yr old for Christmas. (shhh! don't tell him!) And I think he will love the helicopter. He won't care about the jungle part anyway. Which I imagine is how most little boys will feel about those parts of this jungle line. My girls on the other hand would complain if they didn't have a place to display the animals. My guess is the tiny jungle bit is the designers trying to include something for everyone. Though it certainly looks lack-luster as you've pointed out. -
LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Regarding quality control and Lego, I hold them responsible because their moto is "only the best is good enough." Yet quality has gone down over the years, not up. I sent photos to Lego CS of bricks from 10 years ago and ones I bought this year and they said, "yeah I can see the quality decline." Lego won't change unless the money tells them to. I encourage everyone to ask for replacement pieces for mis-prints, ugly injection mold marks, and any other flaws. Can't do anything about minifigure design errors, but anything legitimate ask for a replacement. That's what CS told me to do and I have. When it starts to hurt them financially Lego will change. The Andor drop pod and Inquisitor Scythe from Kenobi were amazingly designed sets. We get some real gems in terms of Star Wars sets, but I wish it was more the norm. As for sales, I miss having access to constant deals on the States. The only consistent deals in France I've seen are on Amazon at Christmas time. -
MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
I was in Paris for 1.5 years for language studies. Now I'm in the town where I'm going to be living and working long term. But we're in an apartment till the end of the year and there's no space for Legos However, the house we're trying to buy has a room I can turn into a Lego room. So soon I'll be back to having a dedicated building space. If you all can hang with me till then I'll try to keep things moving along in the mean time. @Sentinel_Brix Some good suggestions. I think season 1 will end this year. So yes, making changes between seasons is a good idea. -
MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
These are some very good points to the bonus XP rules. My intention was to be rotating the bonus available based on what people were building. Unfortunately due to me being in the process of moving I haven't been able to give the game as much attention as I would like. Let's go ahead and adjust the bonuses available. What would you all like to see for your category or the other teams? I'll implement 1 or 2 suggestions and then come up with some other fresh ones myself. The idea was to make the bonuses easy to add, but maybe not so easy as a single golden lightsaber hilt added to each MOC -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
MKJoshA replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Anyone have any luck with GWPs added for B&P orders? I heard Lego stopped giving them for parts orders. But I wanted to know if there were any tricks anyone had found to get them added to the cart. I've got a $300 order I'd place if I could get the current GWP. If I can't I'll wait for x2 points. -
MYSTERIES: Introduction and Rules
MKJoshA replied to MKJoshA's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Good question. First, you can only apply for bonuses from your team. It's more clear on the webfrom. Characters used multiple times can count each time. If your CorSec characters are in a build you can always apply for the CorSec bonus. The bonuses will change over time but as long as it's there you can use it. Builds like ships are different. It has to be a unique MOC each time to count. -
LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Yes, the Rancor is lurking. I'm on vacation right now, so I'll warn you all that if this thread keeps getting out of hand I'm just going to lock it for a few days. ☝️ This sums up a lot of my thoughts on the last 3 pages. Each is entitled to his/her opinion here. No need to belittle or demean those with differing view points. Technically the comparisons between Andor and Acolyte belong in the media thread (found in my signature below). But I think the current vector (see what I did there?) of discussion has merit for the Lego set discussion so I'll allow it. I have 4 kids, oldest is 8. They have seen all other Star Wars shows including Andor (which they found boring ). I will not let them watch Acolyte myself. However, I would buy them an Acolyte set because they would play with it and make-believe their own stories within Star Wars. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I like being able to rotate. I hate the color renders. It's so hard to tell certain colors apart when they go digital like this. The new reddish orange is a prime example. It looks like normal orange in the renders. -
Well you're in luck. The prize passes on to the next in line with the next highest score. That happens to be you

We had a total of 45 entries this year. That's fewer than last year, but the scores were much higher this year. You all put major quality before quantity! For the Duel of the Fates category The winner is Riventer with his Rogue Rebels Heist. This scored 22.6 points. (Storytelling: 8.6, Aesthetics: 8, Technical Ability: 7.4) You win a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 40 Euro as your prize. Oky would have won 2nd place with his The Reign of Skywalker. But since he won first place in the Sabine's Paint category he passes his win onto the next in line. So the second place winner is Sylyphics with Force Fighter. This scored 19.4 points. (Storytelling: 6.8, Aesthetics: 7, Technical Ability: 5.6) You win the 212th and Palpatine foil bags as your prize. For the Sabine's Paint category The winner is Oky with The Mandalorian's N1 Racer. This scored 21.5 (Storytelling: 7.5, Aesthetics: 7.25, Technical Ability: 6.75) You win a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 70 Euro as your prize. In second place was n1majneb with The Ungraceful Exit. This scored 20.5 (Storytelling: 7.75, Aesthetics: 6.5, Technical Ability: 6.25) You win the Coruscant Guard and Imperial Light Cruiser foil bags as your prize. For the Phantom Menace category The winner is A_Goodman with Saving the Queen. This scored 25.6 (Storytelling: 8, Aesthetics: 9, Technical Ability: 8.6) You win a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 80 Euro as your prize. Oky would have won 2nd place with his Is This Yours?. But since he won first place in the Sabine's Paint category he passes this win onto the next in line. Which would have been Sylyphics with his Droideka Introduction. But since he won 2nd place in Duel of the Fates he passes this win onto the next in line. So winning the second place prize was Danny_Boy4 with Now This Is Podracing!. This scored 21 (Storytelling: 7, Aesthetics: 7.2, Technical Ability: 6.8) You win the Darth Maul and A-Wing foil bags as your prize. For the Coruscant category The winner is Sentinel_Brix with Imperial City. This scored 24 (Storytelling: 8.6, Aesthetics: 8, Technical Ability: 7.4) You win a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 150 Euro as your prize. In second place was Thedbbuildworks with Data Deal on 1313. This scored 23.8 (Storytelling: 7.8, Aesthetics: 8, Technical Ability: 8) You win the Luke Skywalker and AT-AT foil bags as your prize. And the Grand Admiral winner is... Artizan! He entered all 4 categories and earned a total of 85.3 points. You win a set or sets with an equivalent value up to 230 Euro as your prize. The Old Republic: Deceived scored 22.4 (technical 2nd place in it's category) Sith Starfighter scored 14.5 The Swim to Otoh Gunga scored 24.4 (technical tie for 2nd place in it's category) Imperial Palace scored 24 (technical tie for 1st place in it's category) In second place Danny_Boy4 earned 72.4 points for his 4 entries (1, 2, 3, 4) and in third Thedbbuildworks earned 72.1 for his 4 entries (1, 2, 3, 4). Thanks for being apart of Eurobricks and for all the participation!

I don't want to say this since I absolutely LOVE Andor and love seeing the opinions about the show, but the discussion about it should go in the Media topic. Not here. -
Thanks for sharing these. FYI, EB is not meant to be a photo hosting site. I'd recommend using a free Flickr account or Bricksafe. I use Bricksafe since my Flickr is full. Both are good, free, options for hosting pictures.
