  1. well, if Aqua Magna were pushed away from Shperus and towards the sun, then maybe that WAS the arctic area. The other chunk would still be relatively close to Bara, yes? I think the location of everything needs to be clarified... Theres a Skopio X-V1 review on BZP!!!!
  2. Hay, Antroz- mind if I do my own rendition of one of your 2010 prediction things? I'mdoing a sort of set-style thing of what I want to see in 2010, and that red gut is just too cool. The black guy, too.
  3. That still sounds cool!
  4. I hope I haven't overloaded your circuits...
  5. some of the links to the posters on various sites also had some cool art for the catskull and some HUGE detail pics of the Fabricator,as well as an epic screenshot. http://www.buzznet.com/musicnews/tim-burto...tty-9-j4249561/ Hi-res detail art more coolness
  6. I would very much like to join. I would very much like to have the skill to properly review sets. This is a skill that would be especially needed should I be one of those fellows who ends up obtaining a new set-it is then my duty to review, and I must do a good job!
  7. Well, if we do end up seeing the other chunk, then I hope it's all lush and forested. It would mean cooler creatures!
  8. It bugs me that the posters aren't all the same size... Though I AM liking the cool pics of Catskull and the Fabrication Machine!
  9. looks like I was WAAAAY off. The females aren't peaceful- just smarter.
  10. no- it's only so long as you are holding a weapon. That's probably why the Sisters of the Skrall(as they were titled in the story) asked Stronius to drop his weapon. So long as you are unarmed, you are safe. The reason you are dead even if you Do decide to drop your weapon at the sight of the Baterra is that they would kill you before your fingers had chance to move.
  11. That power is definitely intriguing. I get the feeling it has to do with the females requiring the males to put down their weapons and live peacefully rather than live like they are still at war. But of course, the Skrall being as they are, this arrangement could never be-so the Skrall left their sisters. And knowing what we now know of the Baterra, the females had the right idea all along. Tuma has rather led his people on a very unnecessary destructive path. several Agori and Glatorian dead tto the Skrall's conquest to get back at the Baterra- all because the Skrall are too hard-headed to just put down the sword and live normally.
  12. what? do you not find it interesting that the females have the ability to project pain into others? Or that they are wise enough to suggest the surrender of weapons?
  13. did you enjoy it? hehe.. 20012... end of the world beetle? lol. Mostly I'm interested in Click for those black mantax claws.
  14. Shame he's in one of the worst of the year, tho.
  15. Indeed! I'm really quite impressed that it has functions for a twenty dollar set! Vultraz's speeder had only a partial function.
  16. Where'd you find that? I thought we didn't have any good CG pics of Cendox
  17. It is now!!! I'm actually wanting this set now. Thanks, 80!
  18. He seems rather impressive, actually. I'm liking that they at least tried for a new design. It's a step forward. And I'll definitely buy him for parts.
  19. Remember last year when we were all complaining a lot about the lack of a gold Ignika? It seems that this year has been making us all kinds of happy!
  20. Zounds!!! I knew I shouldn't have put down gunmetal!
  21. http://www.nbcuniversalstore.com/detail.php?p=104619 BZPower front page had this. Guess we know who the traitor is... and YAY! deleted scenes!!!!! EDIT:Dang! Antrozek beat me by a couple of seconds!!!
  22. why? we have mata yellow, keetorange, black, blue, gold, red, silver, gunmetal, gray, and trans-something for the eyes. That's ten right there. most of those are standard. red rods, blue pins, black foundations, gray on the head and in pistons, silver weapons and assorted gold, and yellows for armour. Plus two life-counters. Am I correct, Front?
  23. You know- it's funny. All of this year's sets are more elemental looking than any Toa, Matoran, or Turaga since about '03. NOT a complaint, though. It's a very welcome change. Let's just hope it continues.
  24. And THAT, gentlemen, is the singularly most refreshing thing to realize of this year. All New masks/helmets, and a few recolours. I didn't even think about it, until now... but wow! Every impulse and canister this year(except Ackar) has a new mold helmet, and even the vehicles don't reuse from the other sets! Though they DO reuse other vehicle masks, but at least most are reversable and all repeats are recolours. There is very little to complain about this year. 2009 has easily beaten '08, and has tied with 2001, IMO.
