don't remind me... last year hurt me. The villains were the best thing to emerge, and even then... I think I died a little inside. But his year has fully redeemed itself! I modded Mats with black pins. they don't protrude too much, and they keep the shin guards from rattling. I might pick up Kiina next. -

Dude- a tellow Spikit would be sick. Imagine a recoloured Gresh blade in yellow/red.... -
I'll try it out! got any ideas for other creature things?
-
no harm done! I too enjoy some adherence meself! But now what color should he be? Well, then I can provide just that! We don't necessarily have to use 'em, but I'm feeling a bit in the mood to draw, so... be ready! And anyone else who wants to take a shot at it feel free!

can do! I know that, silly! I saw that announcement ages ago and was absolutely heartbroken. But given that we are designing our own sets, I think we can do some things that can't normally happen. There really is no need for the CAPS text, as it is quite insulting to assume that just because I colored a fictional set purple that I suddenly think that it can happen. THIS IS STRICTLY A WHAT-IF. So pleeeease don't go assuming things like that. It's insulting to an uber die-hard fan. actually, this is for reference only. I don't intend on having a set for each of the colors listed-This was just a list for corresponding parasite color reference if anyone wanted to try and color the original piece differently. now on to the main thing: Would anyone be interested in seeing more of these monstrous parasite wielding maniacs as villains or faction, or should we only have a few sets like this- or even none at all?

(the picture links to the full-size version.) Yes, it's purple and yellow. yes I actually like that color combo. No, I don't expect you all to accept it as the final colors.XD Pretty much everyone is free to try and color it on their own, so go at it-PMing me suggestions is fine, too :) But, yes... couldn't be helped. This is my pitch-in number two for a possible villain/mutant faction member. The left arm is a parasite launcher, with the legs of the parasite serving as fingers. this 'hand' can be shot out to attack foes and do whatever. He does have a primary weapon, but I'll draw that up later. it just would have made the picture way to busy had I added it. His wings are attached to purple slizer arms and are colored yellow/purple like the mask and launcher. I figured that if this is gonna be the first majorly purple set in forever, then at least provide sufficient purple parts to doe something with, as well as the dual color mix. The parasites are different colors for each mutant-thing. these are the color schemes for those of you interested in coloring him differently. Purple guy- red parasite red guy- Blue parasite Blue guy- orange parasite Green guy- purple parasite tan or brown- silver/blue parasite orange- light blue parasite white guy- red or blue, depending on whether you want an icy theme or a kirka-like theme black guy- glow-in-the-dark parasite Black guy- glowy parasite tan guy-

end of this year, or beginning 2010, I think it's reasonable to assume there'll be some. -

I would too! ... ...but how many regular customers would? dang. We need packs of recoloured masks or another tub-O-parts with recolours and stuff. -

@ clonie: though the recolours would be good, I prefer new molds for masks( and I'm sure other members do to), and would very much like to see more in the future. If they were also reversible, that would be a plus. I do, however agree with every other one of your points. You have quite a complete and excellent review. Just no more re-used masks. recolours are fine in moderation, but really belong in mask packs(which would solve this problem and really should return) and the appearance of new molds in vehicle drivers should continue, as it helps MOC-wise to have as much as possible. And it would be even cooler to see more reversibles. -

That looks really freakin' good! I like that you did both pre and post to give an example of the radical changes in design. They all look just like one would expect from an apocalypse world. And I noticed the little SP3 alien guy in the sports car. nice touch.

well, that's what I get for trying to make up set numbers without researching XD hm... sudden inspiration, fellas! Does anyone here know what set numbers haven't been used yet? I was thinking that'd be a great way to try and find Bionicle 2010 stuff. we could just try numbers next in the sequence, and hope for results that include a name, and then we have our first 2010 Spoiler stuff! -

Bink checked the set and the figure is Glatorian-sized. He is not a Glatorian in the sense of holding that job, but he is not an Agori. from the Greg Topic on BZP -

YES YES YES and more YES. That is awesome! do you think you could do something similar with the rest of ours?
-
Well, since i'm on the list to do a refugee, so I'll get started on that, though I'm REALLY waiting for the monstrous things... As most of you can guess (with irritation) I am a creature-freak when it comes to wanting to draw something.

Sweet! I'll start my contribution soon.

I really like click now. And the animation is fantastic. Also, the new Legends commercial is different from the one I linked to. it has three of the chracters putting their weapons together to blast away a group of Skrall. -
... the cyberpunk should not be used profusely, but in the right amount will be very kickass. Antroz, that guy is amazing, and why not give MN a vehicle and new form so we can go bananas on him? the vehicle and new look could be all him, so we'd be able to MOC to our heart's content. And why don't we make a list of Characters we have a look for so far, so that we know what colors and such we should be building with next.
