The fact that the aliens are the bad dudes has bothered me, as well. I think, though, that I'll simply switch out a few outfits and have some alien Police members. That aside, the minifigs are OUTSTANDING this year. Frenzy and the fellow that comes with Max Security transport are my personal faves.

That was amazing. I like that 8 can speak- he seems more like an evil henchman that way. And I like how 9 nearly goes off on 1. "You don't send the oldest out to... nevermind..." And nice to finally hear 6.

I liked the movie a lot. And I liked the little godzilla roar during the Skopio battle. My only problems were that the story seemed a little rushed- like too much had to be crammed into so little time. Oh, well.

Hm... I see your point. But in all honesty, I think it's more the style that's won everyone over. First off, its FAR more set-accurate. Second, there's actual chipping, dirt and scrapes on the armour, third, in my personal opinion, it just looks less kiddy.

I thought the music at the beginning was pretty epic. It was when he was in space that it sounded really lame. Them BM showed up and it was cool again. I'm a little irked that they messed the MU and SM up, but I'm glad they actually tried- I don't recall there ever being mention of the possibility of seeing the MU, so was incredibly glad to see some recap. If we ever see another glimpse into the MU again, I'd like Ghost to do it.

I've always loved legos- the chance to create my own story's in a miniature scale and act them out still amuses me. I do collect- but only for parts potential. The majority of the time I really do play with my LEGOs
